I was here for a cyclist as a stop on my hike. Quiet place to take a short rest and compared to the Bollenwees mountain inn, much more relaxed and less touristy.

A very special experience. Of course, hut warden Peter's speeches are not for everyone. But I found it quite amusing. In any case, his team exudes a hospitality that is rarely experienced at SAC huts. From the first minute we had the feeling that they were taking care of our physical well-being. Of course there are no alpinists here, but mainly families and children. An overnight stay is still worth it.

We were there for several days during the week. The rooms have little storage space and the beds are rather short for me (190 cm). But the atmosphere and the hospitality were very warm and absolutely top. Thank you Regina and Peter. The Fählensee invites you to swim. Despite the great weather, we were always alone in the climbing areas.

We've been to numerous huts, but we've never felt so unwelcome. As German students, for whom the extremely high prices are understandably particularly stressful, we were repeatedly and personally attacked by the hut landlord in the most venomous way in front of the other guests because we did not want to buy additional drinks. That's what I call customer orientation! Our vegan was also forced to pay an extra charge, even though there was no difference in her menu and she lived on pasta and salad.
