ICON Club in Zürich

We were first let in however after exiting the club they denied us to enter back in, saying we‘d never even paid. Even though we had the bracelets they‘d somehow forgotten. (My friends were people of color) Music is okay and the location is small. Don‘t expect getting in unless you are blond, have blue eyes with a dark blue polo shirt.

Minors are allowed in despite showing their ID...

The worst nightclub in the world, the security guards are very unpleasant and this nightclub is not worth the money you put inside. I do not recommend it, it is the worst experience in Madrid.

The staff were extremely aggressive and although I spent around 5000 francs on food and drinks in the restaurant and club, I was kicked out of the lounge after just an hour and a half because the three bottles of alcohol I had ordered were starting to run out. The treatment was not only disappointing but also disrespectful.

Wouldn’t recommend this place if you are not white, blonde and blue eyed. Security is racist and it‘s a predominantly white club. If you are a POC you will not feel welcome. Security is rude, aggressive for no reason (sometimes you have to be aggressive yes I understand but not from the get go only if something happens) and won’t always let POC into the club for a fake reason. In conclusion it’s very racist and would only recommend for white people. To better the club I would recommend changing the security (especially the bald one). POC= Person of Color

I was a customer of icon club but I don't recommend to anyone that unprofessional security are very arrogant and aggressive and that management from these clubs are very unfriendly and unprofessional. I was also insulted by security just because I have a disability that is simply a catastrophe and discrimination this club and complained but they don't do anything bad

I was this weekend there and they don’t have air-condition. It was too hot and I left the club after 30 min and paid entrance for nothing. They are much better clubs in Zurich

Does ICON still have the same owner? If yes! Why is ICON suddenly charging admission on Fridays? What has changed there? Why do you have to pay an entrance fee for the same services? I also find it very cheeky that the owner put us under pressure to “either pay the entrance fee or fill out the contact form!!!” I hope that the ICON finds a good owner again

The service was great and the music was fantastic. DJ Samir is the best in town. Very pleasant atmosphere and great people.

Unfortunately there is the same DJ every weekend. That's why the music in ICON CLUB has become like a radio selection. The DJ is always drunk and he and his wives smoke cigarettes at the DJ pool and the so-called DJ Samir charges 100 CHF for the music he wants. Overall I am not satisfied with the music and service & party quality.

Discriminated right at the entrance. We were not allowed entrance(the bouncer meant it was too many people?). The bouncers were rude and almost aggressive and the whole (short) experience of being in the club was absolutely horrible and traumatic. Would never come back and I don’t recommend it anyone.

Went to Icon with friends yesterday. Even the first contact with the security was unusually friendly and correct. Others can learn something from this. Great DJ, nice interior and great atmosphere. People who regularly party there have never been to a real club. The music is just embarrassing for the people who are still lounging around, the dance floor is also very narrow, the security is arrogant and thinks they have achieved something in their life. On top of that, the perves, 15 year olds let children in and to top it off they flirt with them and buy the children alcohol Hoping that they get the number, just sad...

Once and never again.. The Kosovar waiter should have his face polished, and saying "Te qifsha rropt" while being pushed, even though you behaved correctly and didn't bother anyone, is NOT possible at all. An absolute no-go! Will not recommend this club to anyone, not even tourists. I was kicked out because my colleague lost her things at a lounge spot and the people who reserved the lounge became aggressive and then went to the waiter.

Extremely rude, aggressive and not customer friendly security at the door saturday 03.12.22. He was yelling at us, made us feel very unsafe and unwelcomed. Icon needs to do better and employ security who are positive and customer friendly, not searching for fights with club visitors. 👎

About the bouncers: You dont get in when your a bigger group for example 3 girls 3 guys. Its best thing for girls is to just go together or just 2 and 2. They get extremely aggressive and will not let you speak even if you did nothing wrong. (If that happens dont get upset just go somewhere else its not gonna do anything for you to get upset) The club and the music is great but these bouncers ruin the whole experience.

My group of 4 had a great time!! The bouncer was awesome, the drinks were good, and the music was so fun. It was music we could actually sing along to, not the boring techno stuff. Definitely recommend.

Last weekend the bar manager had two young women and their entourage thrown out of the club. The two young, attractive women danced alone at a table. He noticed them and tried to impress them both with an invitation for a drink. The women declined and found the invitation to be harassing in its intrusive manner! He then became very aggressive and came from the bar to the women and had them both thrown out! Even uninvolved people in the group were violently thrown out even though no one fought back!!! No staff should be that aggressive! You expect a professional and reserved appearance from the staff! The security and the bar manager, Said, were like aggressive thugs themselves in their own club! It's a shame for the rest of the staff who were very friendly.

We were there several times and we always had fun. Staff always friendly and accommodating. We would visit this club at any time and recommend it.

We were refused entry, because we apparently didn't have enough girls in our group. Discrimination is a no go. Would not try to ever go there again.

Service employee Ali extremely aggressive. I was about to pay him a bill (CHF 1000) and then wanted to take the receipt out of the card reader myself, which surprisingly bothered him. He then took the receipt from me and threw it on the floor in front of me in the club and completely freaked out and was even stopped by his work colleagues. Many thanks to the man and woman who did their job correctly and tried to make Ali aware of his misconduct. For me that was pretty much the last time in this club until this service employee is fired. You don't behave like that with customers. If you only focus on sales, then the business will fail. I recommend that everyone get service from other service employees. Unfortunately Ali is responsible for the lounge area. He can't handle customers.

This club is really perfect if you want to go minus without you wanting to. The sercurity is poor and must act arrogantly. The DJs were good but I'd rather recommend another club than this one.

The bouncer's behavior is very condescending, the club is very warm and crowded. I had to sweat extremely because there was no air conditioning. The music is old, the room is small, the only great thing about this place, which sells itself as one of the best nightclubs in Zurich, is that entry is free, otherwise no one would enter. I was at the ICON Club about 2 weeks ago. Basically the music was quite good, which unfortunately I can't say about the staff. I was there with my girlfriend, we wanted to celebrate her birthday and had reserved a lounge. Most of my friends who were on the friends list didn't get in for some inexplicable reason. Shortly before 12 p.m. my girlfriend's best friend arrived. When the bouncers didn't want to let her in either, she called me so I could say that she was on our list and on the friends list. When I tried to speak to the bouncer on a matter-of-fact level to ask what the reason was, he said I was too drunk and I should go back inside. I mentioned several times that I wasn't drunk because I don't drink alcohol. He said if I didn't like it, I should come with him and we'd sort things out differently. When I asked what he meant by “arranging things differently,” he answered me one-on-one. When I heard that I went to get my girlfriend and then we left the club. To me this is clearly a complete primitive malpractice. At this point I really wonder how such a person can ensure people's safety. I don't recommend this club to anyone and I will never visit this club again.

First of all, praise to the DJ, he was great! The bouncer, on the other hand, was almost the reason we didn't want to go in anymore. He was disrespectful, rude and arrogant. The managing director, in turn, overstepped his boundaries with us and was unbearable. (Recommend the Widder Garage, which is right next to it).

We were at the top of the stairs waiting to get into the club and there were a lot of people on the stairs, we couldn't go any further and suddenly security came and he pushed me and took off my jacket and shoved me hard For no reason he threw me and my girlfriend and colleagues out then an older one he said to me is coming so if you are brave go with this security to the side where there are no people and he shows you this indirect threat very arrogant bouncers and very impolite I definitely don't recommend this club and will keep everyone informed about what happened there. The club without Milad and Ferey is served very badly and treated very badly! If Milad and Ferey were there that night none of this would have happened

Extremely aggressive behavior from security. My colleague was pulled down the stairs in front of me for no reason and he caught me too. His girlfriend wanted to know what he had done and was violently pushed away by him. We wanted to find out what he did wrong and they couldn't tell us anything. The head of security said that we should forget about the incident and that the two of them should go to a quiet harrow and fight there. I have never experienced such aggressive behavior. You would think that the security would be responsible for the safety of the guests and not show such aggressive behavior. I am very disappointed with how we were treated and I would never have expected such an incident from a club like this. A person like that should never work as security. Unfortunately, the on-site police couldn't help us any further.

I’ve been to many clubs over the years and I’ve never seen so aggressive bouncers! For literally no reason that one guy started pushing me my boyfriend and a friend of ours down the stairs then grabbed my jacket and started screaming at me. Couldn’t even talk to the guy. I’ve never experienced something like that before and for no reason. He brought us outside and while the other bouncers were holding him he tried to pepper spray us! We called the police after because this what happened is just unexceptable. These people are there to provide safety and not only they are not able to but from what I saw they are the ones trying to cause problems. Very disappointed. And most definitely won’t recommend.

New Year's Eve Dinner & Party: Food and party top - staff and billing flop! At the end, Chef de Bar tried to use nasty tricks to get a generous tip... Not like that! Dear Club & Event Managers from Icon/Taos, you have an average rating of 3.0 stars and have not yet given any feedback (or apologies) to the people who - like myself - complain about your staff. This feedback is free and should be of more importance to you than simply accepting it in silence. After all, people are making the effort to write to you - so please do that too. As I saw, you have a marketing & events department specifically for this.

Far too many people, bad DJ, queuing for 40 minutes for coats to be handed out, etc. really poorly organized!

Bouncer arrogant, manager snooty, total disaster. An excuse is always sought so that entry is refused (you're practically playing roulette while queuing despite having a reservation). My last visit until the structure changes. Club feeling is generally good but too many employees have no sense of empathy. Not visitor friendly. No recommendation. Very bad staff, no standard and not recommended at all

Basically a great club, the music is okay and there are no "ghetto kids" there. However, it should be mentioned that the staff in the club behave in an extremely condescending manner. Absolutely unfriendly, unsympathetic and last but not least, illegitimately arrogant. You are often rejected by the bouncers and for no reason, even if you present yourself alone with 10 women. Furthermore, the price-performance ratio is abysmal. The bouncers in the icon are as weak as hell!

The baddest experience in Zurich! The doorman is extremely aggressive and the rest of the stuff very arrogant and unfriendly. Is full of 17y old...the music doesn't have any sense, the play horrible! The bartenders refuse to prepare cocktails and most especially, shots. Only pure alcohol/beer/proseco..and if u are lucky you can get a long drink.I don't recommend.

Terrible! We paid 20 euros pp to enter asking if 1 cocktail per person was included.. the guy at the entrance or the upstairs club said yes but then, unexpectedly we asked for it and they said “only one glass of prosecco if you want”. We went to the entrance asking to clarify and after insisting for a few mins the answer was “you should be grateful as we gave a free prosecco to you as a gift, because we only give it to those we like..(!!!)” I said “we asked you and you confirmed that one cocktail (paid 20 euro each!) was included .. but then, even after asking many times..nothing! At the end I left this “free drink card” to the guy at the entrance. I mean.. thanks anyway, but I never had such a bad and dishonest experience in my life. And please, do not answer -again - that you said that at the beginning, because it was not. And sorry to say but the first dance floor is something I would consider illegal.. smoking everywhere without any exit door.. I am just wondering if it is the normal nightlife in Zurich or what..

Really bad dandruff. The security is aggressive, abusive and violent. The guests they know are allowed to do anything, others are thrown out for no reason if the "regulars" have any problem. NEVER AGAIN!

Some guy didnt like that I was talking to a girl and became agressive. Security knew the guy and yanked me out of the club. Nepotism at its worst. Terrible experience, terrible club. Never again!

Was put on the list by a colleague. We drove there and were in front of the entrance between 11 p.m. and midnight. When we told the bouncer that we were on the guest list, he just said that we were late. When we asked him to contact his colleague to clarify the whole thing, he said in an arrogant tone that I should call him and laughed as he greeted some of the guests he seemed to know and let them in before the waiting guests. Lousy shed with lousy staff. Please spare yourself this.

Shots were not free as advertised and staff was highly unfriendly when questioned about, forcing to pay. So be advised before going there. I ask the responsible for this place: where is your dignity?

Absolute disappointment. Waiting for 20 minutes with a stamp on your arm only to be coldly turned away at the end despite a reservation. The cold puke comes up.

Amazing and good looking staff.

Nightly disco fun with the interest group “Banquiers 40+ & Ukraine Elite Hookers”. Relaxed, spacious smoking room (the entire lower floor) where only the most select cigars are available. The door policy is a sticking point, but once you get past the heavily built but very serious guards, the ICON offers you a charming refuge from the boring, gray waking nights into the glittering world of the rich and beautiful and all without paying an entrance fee must. Definitely worth a detour.
