Cozy mountain restaurant, friendly service and good food, the accommodation in the adjacent building has everything you need.

The reception was unfriendly, you didn't feel welcome as a guest, the speech was almost cheeky and impudent. No information, but an indication of strict adherence to the short meal time (unfriendly tone). Service at dinner was friendly enough, but the restaurant was very crowded and loud. Food delicious. Rooms quaint and cold - duvets warm and cozy - overall good and clean. But there is only one socket in the room - poorly and dangerously installed - something needs to be reworked! Very noisy, so a bit annoying with inconsiderate neighbors. Unfortunately the toilet cannot be locked. Bathroom ok. Breakfast was sufficient, various cheeses and cold cuts, nice, varied muesli, but only one type of bread. But we would come back with modifications (e.g. without a breakfast time slot, it's quite tight, it's cleared away before the specified time). Location very good.

Beautifully located Alp with cozy rooms (shower/toilet in the hallway), nice staff and great food options. We'd love to come back.

The drive here is very steep and very beautiful in nature. You can go up from 7:30 a.m. from :30 to :45 a.m. and down to 8 p.m. from :00 to :15 p.m

Cycling tour Lenk, Iffigenalp then enjoyed a good menu, is recommended.

Very nice service and delicious food.

A very nice restaurant that we stopped in after hiking up. There was very tasty apple strudel with ice cream, fruit cake, delicious cappuccino and homemade iced tea. An extensive menu with ice cream, desserts, drinks and also warm food. And we were served very nicely. If you don't want to crawl - there is a bus every hour to the door of the Alp. The hike up is easy to do, even for those who are untrained.

I am overwhelmed by the offerings, service and the friendliness of the staff. I was able to enjoy four days at Iffigenalp with a colleague. The room was homely furnished, clean and the restaurant also shows conviction. I could imagine taking another break from everyday life there at any time. Iffigenalp is also very suitable for hiking. I recommend it to everyone and will definitely be happy to stop by again myself. Many thanks to the entire staff

Very nice panorama, good food and nice people.

After a short hike we stopped there. Service was good and very friendly, delicious food/baked goods and a very pleasant atmosphere. There is a changing area for children, as well as small toys such as rubber horses to help the little ones pass the time. The bus leaves directly in front of the restaurant. Very pleasant, really recommended.

The service was somewhat friendly, but when we wanted to order water with the dessert, the lady got a little annoyed and gave a somewhat unfriendly answer, which was a shame, but the dessert was delicious

After a break of a few years, last weekend we were once again able to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere in the Iffigenalp restaurant and the branch. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts in rainy weather and inhospitable temperatures. What was new were the warming bed bottles, which made our stay in the nostalgically furnished but unheated rooms a little more pleasant and gave us warmth. In general, Iffigenalp is worth a trip with a stop at the restaurant. Everything is lovingly geared towards the guests, whether for an overnight stay, where a paper bag with homemade jam and a wonderfully tasting syrup awaited us as a present, or for a game evening in a cozy room. The wood in the "Chachelofen" crackled and the kitchen smelled seductively of chamois pepper and other delicacies. Vegetarians weren't left out either. The hostess anticipates every wish of the guests. You can feel the love for this very special place. The breakfast buffet was full of delicacies and had something for every taste. The costs for an overnight stay and the wonderful food are in a price range that everyone can afford. We would like to thank Sandra Zöller and her team for the wonderful weekend and we very much hope that she will continue to run the Berggasthaus Iffigenalp "so well", she is more than a worthy successor. We definitely will be happy to come back.

Restaurant waitress unpleasant or even rude. We asked for information (toilet, water) and our noses were blown off. We do not recommend this place and we hope that the waitress will be able to flourish in another profession!

Large shaded terrace. A daily menu (not tested) and for those returning from hiking, no worries, the menu offers hot dishes even at 3 p.m. Soup, röstis and other mountain specialties. Without forgetting the homemade cakes, ice creams and ice tea.

How beautiful it is here. Towards the evening the cows from the adjacent farm are let outside. This is beautiful to see and hear. The goats also come along, and the pigs come to say hello. Friendly people, good beer, the dishes look nice and it is a nice ambiance on the terrace. Beautiful interior too. Never had an overnight stay.

We used to visit every now and then, but not anymore for a long time. Unfortunately we were disappointed this time. Me and my family all ordered a garnished sausage and cheese salad. None of us are big eaters, but we were all still hungry afterwards. For 17.- no bargain price. The taste was okay.

I can only recommend every hiker to stop there and take the time to listen to the cows' bells. However, it is highly recommended to keep an eye on the bus timetable. We got to the alp at 5:02 p.m. and unfortunately missed the last bus. But the staff found a solution for this too. We were able to go with a chef from the restaurant. Of course he got something from us for the good trip. Thank you again for the lovely stay and hospitality. We'll be back 😊😊😊

Excellent dish of the day. Another time we just stopped for a drink, we were not charged for still water.

Unfortunately, the brunch is no longer as it was under the previous management, the buffet was cleared away at a quarter to 11 a.m., even if they weren't finished yet, they certainly won't come again.

The facilities are very clean, the staff is super friendly, the food is delicious and the routes are wonderful!

Excellent alpine chalet for sleeping, eating and discovering the region! Alpine restaurant and alpine farm right next door. In the morning wake up by cow bells. Shared showers and toilets. Calm and quiet. Excellent base for hiking or cycling.

Wir waren für 1 Nacht auf der Alp.Nach einer langen Wanderung im Schnee war das Abendessen eine Delikatesse! Mit Halbpension gab es Suppe&Dessert inkl. Und Nachschlag wurde auch noch offeriert.Die Gastgeberin gab sich bei jedem Gast sehr Mühe.Die Dependance hat viel Charme, keine Heizung und WC/Dusche auf dem Gang. Wir fühlten uns von A-Z wohl! Danke

Very nice, delicious food and nice service

Ich habe heute 16.9.20 hier ein sehr feines Hirschpfeffer gegessen. Der Hirsch wurde in der Region vom Nachbar des Restaurants geschossen. So etwas besonderes habe ich zum ersten Mal gegessen.

Einfache gute Wanderunterkunft, Dusche und Sanitäranlagen auf einem Stockwerk. Personal war manchmal etwas Schroff, aber bei dem Durchlauf noch voll ok ;) Essen und das Frühstück waren auch gut. Gerne wieder.

A very, very nice mountain house. Here you can treat yourself to the sound of cow bells. We had the Alpine cheese fondue, which is highly recommended. On the terrace you also have a beautiful view of the mountains. It's a shame that the tenants decided to quit after the current season. (Reason: Corona) So take the chance and stop by again.

Ein Haus wie zu Grossmutters Zeiten. Nostalgie pur. Herforragende, einfache Küche. Personal sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Haus ist über 100 Hundert Jahre alt, aber gepflegt.

Hier wurden wir echt verwöhnt: freundlicher Empfang, wunderbares Essen (und spezielles Dessert ...).Gemse wurde vorgeschlagen (es war ja Wildsaison). Und die gereichten Teller mit Pfeffer bzw. Geschnetzeltem waren nicht nur eine Augenweide, sondern auch sehr schmackhaft. Das Topping war dann allerdings das Dessert: eine Crème brulée (Caramelcrème) nach Grosis Rezept. Köstlich - das gibt es ja wirklich nicht überall.Eigentlich hätten wir anschliessend zu Fuss ins Tal gehen sollen ...

Helene, Ernst and the team pamper us again and again. All dishes are prepared with care and fresh products and are always beautifully prepared. Whether by car or to Fuss, you are always in good hands at Gfeller's on Iffigenalp. We'd love to come back.

Very fine food in a rustic restaurant in a beautiful mountain setting, good starting point for various hikes, overnight accommodation options also available, travel to and from the restaurant possible alternately every half hour according to the regular timetable, free bus with guest card available, friendly service, very nice landlady.

Ob im Sommer bei einem feinen Essen im Garten mit Blick auf die Rawil, oder Ende Saison bei einem feinen Wildschmaus mit Übernachtung im Gästehaus. Wir lieben den Besuch auf der Iffigenalp. Dank an das Team für die jederzeit super Bewirtung.

Nous sommes arrivés avec le bus dans ce restaurant et nous étions à table avec le chauffeur, lui a été bien servi, nous avons attendu 30 minutes environs, des gens autour de nous qu'ils arrivèrent après nous, les serveuses s'occupent d'eux au moment d'être servi nous n'avons pas eu droit au set de table et au pain comme tout le monde alors nous avons mangé notre soupe et salade et nous sommes partis de plus nous étions en plein courant d'air alors que normalement, la fenêtre doit être fermée et quand nous sommes partis ils ont fermé la fenêtre bizarre.... Nous pensons qu'ils n'aiment pas les Suisses Romands dans cet établissement .

Hier ist die Welt noch in Ordnung. Kuhglocken und zwischendurch der Bus, welcher die Iffigenalp mit Lenk verbindet, durchdringen die Ruhe. Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin. Zimmer sind einfach, sauber und zweckmässig ausgestattet. Das Essen im Restaurant nebenan war sehr gut. Der Service auch hier sehr freundlich.

Hier kann man nichts falsch machen: großzügige Portionen zum Abendessen, frische Zutaten, warme und freundliche Atmosphäre und das Beste von all dem unvergleichlichen Ausblick. Alle Gerichte werden nach Kundenwunsch zubereitet. Unser war sehr gut und der Salat war knusprig und frisch. A +++++

Nous sommes installés dans un hôtel à Lenk, et nous sommes tombés sur ce restaurant via TA en cherchant, c est très sympa, très bon accueil, très bon plats typiques.La route d accès est étroite et jolie (de 7:30 à 20:00, on peut monter tous les XX:30 et redescendre tous les XX:00N hésitez pas à monter c est top

Wir haben im Gasthaus für ein Nacht verbracht (inkl. Halbpension).Die Zimmer sind wie auf der Homepage beschrieben sehr einfach (kein fliessendes Wasser und keine Heizung) aber sauber und stilecht. Für unseren Junior wurde ohne Zuschlag ein Kinderbett aufgestellt.Die Gastgeberin war auch im Service sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit.Das Nachtessen war gut, der Aprikosenkuchen ausgezeichnet. Man hätte sich für die Menuwahl bei der Halbpension allenfalls auch etwas mehr lokale Küche (resp. lokale Produkte wie sonst auf der Karte) gewünscht.Das Lokal ist ein typisches Ausflugsrestaurant, eignet sich aber auch ausgezeichnet als Ausgangspunkt (oder Zwischenhalt) für Wanderungen in der Region.

Tolles Essen mit charmantem Services. Sonnenterrasse zum Geniessen. Forelle hervorragend. Sehr schönes Wandergebiet.

Restaurant au fond d'une vallée. Après une belle montée à pied le long des chutes, nous avons mangé une très bonne fondue au fromage. Personnel très sympathique, décor typique et grande terrasse avec vue sur les montagnes. Possibilité de descendre en bus toute les heures.

Nous nous somme rendus dans ce restaurant en fin de saison et en semaine... peu de monde forcément.Pour y arriver, en voiture, la route est ouverte tous les jours à la demi-heure pour y monter, et à l'heure pour y redescendre.Route de montagne très bien entretenue, mais étroite...Arrivé en haut, on se croirait en Colombie Britannique, au pied des montagnes, dans un endroit féérique...Et le restaurant, vraiment typique, qui pratique des prix tout à fait corrects...

Mit einer Wandergruppe haben wir in der Sammelunterkunft übernachtet. Sehr urig ! Zu Abend gegessen haben wir im Restaurant, das sehr schmackhafte und bodenständige Gerichte zubereitet hat. Für uns war es Ausgangs- und Endpunkt für eine Wanderung zum Iffigsee, Iffigenhorn und über das Laubenhorn zu den Simmenfälle. Wir würden die Unterkunft und das Hotel sofort wieder buchen, gerne wieder !

Auf unserem 7tägigen Trekking war diese Nacht die letzte und wohl die schönste! Alles ist sehr sauber. Wir hatten ein einfaches, gemütliches Doppelzimmer, Dusche und WC auf der Etage. Besonders genossen wir die Laube, auf Sessel und Chaiselongue lässt sich herrlich entspannen mit Blick auf die mächtigen Felsen und das abendliche Farbenspiel. Das Nachtessen einfach und schmackhaft. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Glacékarte mit Simmentaler Glacé, lecker und kreativ. Ein rundum schönes Erlebnis!

visited this restraunt while away with village camps. the food was delicious and freshly made. service was fast and staff friendly. this is a very nice place to stop after a day of hiking (for us les rosses to iffigenalp).

Seit drei Jahren kommen wir im Sommer regelmässig auf die Iffigenalp. Auch dieses Jahr haben wir nach einer schönen Wanderung die tolle Umgebung, den netten Service und das gute Essen genossen: sehr empfehlenswert sind die "Kalbsleberli" mit Rösti.

Un vrai décor de carte postale typiquement Suisse !! Un accueil fort sympathique pour déjeuner en terrasse ! Une carte diversifiée avec plein de bonnes choses .. Sans oublier une succulente tarte aux abricots !!
