Had an amazing experience dining at Indian BBQ. Authentic Indian cuisine at reasonable prices. Overall value for money and a great memory!! Special Thanks to Rawat ji for his fab hospitality!!

My visit to the Indian BBQ restaurant was disheartening and very bad experience. The Punjabi waiter's rude behavior significantly marred the dining experience. Unfortunately, the food did not compensate for this, as it was equally disappointing. Overall, a regrettable encounter. To the owner - fire this guy asap or else your restaurant will be in loss very soon because of this man .. as he dont know how to behave with customers

So far one of the best Indian restaurants in Zürich. The food is tailor made according to your taste if you are in the restaurant. The quantity of the food is however on the lower side.

Very bad. Greasy sauce that only tasted like tomato. No Indian flavour. I had a stomach ache all night and the taste stayed with me for two days

Lunch buffet is literally amazing and many choices for both veg and non veg lovers. Tandoori chicken is highly recommended at this place.

Butter chicken with thigh meat. The sauce is a bit special, the taste is not like what I usually get from butter chicken and it is not completely pureed, with pieces of onion, nuts and something sweet in it. Friendly service.

So far I only know it from outside. But I want to get to know it soon.

Maybe the best Indian food in Zurich! At lunchtime, a fine buffet (all you can eat) with many options for only 22.90, beautiful terrace in summer, very friendly and generous staff... absolutely recommended!

Was my favourite Indian Restaurant in Zurich (on par with Tadka) with very polite people and great tasting dishes. But recently the quality has dropped remarkably. Methi Murg was incredibly salty, provided replacement was very salty as well. Very dissatisfied and disappointed by recent changes. Won't order at this restaurant again.

We really enjoy the food at Indian BBQ; I would say it's one of our favorite Indian restaurants in Zurich. The location is great, the interior is cozy, and the outdoor terrace is very pleasant. We frequently order food online, and their delivery service is exceptional. The food is always delivered promptly, and the flavors are absolutely delightful. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Food was tasty, but the value for money for take-away was not convincing in terms of quantity and quality. You should rather have the menu à discretion on site at lunchtime.

I have visited this place a few times and it is one my favorite restaurants in Zurich. One of the very few restaurants in Switzerland that actually serve authentic North Indian cuisine. The staff is very friendly and the chef offers to make customizations according to your preferences.

A very ordinary restaurant, not worth trying. Its prices are beyond imagination, very expensive, and its dishes are very small. The treatment is bad, except for one employee who was very polite.

We were greeted upon walking in so warmly and seated outside on their beautiful patio. Listening to the birds and drinking Mango Lassi and Indian lemonade was heaven. The food was phenomenal! The best Indian food we have ever eaten. Every dish was cooked to perfection and seasoned just as perfectly. We had okra, butter chicken, dal makhani, and naan and I could not pick a favorite if I was forced; it was all magical! Truly a lovely experience in every way.

We wanted to go there for very long but never stopped by until this week (and we have been there twice!) From the outside it is not a typical restaurant in Zurich but it is also what makes it authentic. When you enter, you the host smiles immediately which makes you feel at home (something that does not happen often in zurich). They kept the interior of the old Grüntal but we sat both times outside in the nice terrace. We ordered their special plate with grilled meat the first time and it was amazing. The bread was so good that we asked for 2x more and the wine is good and at a good price. I was surprised to see such a good wine selection for an indian place. Second time we tried some a la carte dishes. Very good prices, food and service for zurich standards! I would go again.

One of the best Indian restaurants of Zurich

Super friendly service and advice, tasty, obviously freshly prepared food and all at moderate prices. A direct hit for culinary high-flyers! Also worth mentioning is the terrace “between” the trees and with its own vines, which invites you to linger in the evening. All in all: a top address. Highly recommended!

Gathering time with friends was this time at this beautiful Indian restaurant in Zurich located by the river. The food we ordered was very tasty and we got to taste Indian beer, too. The staff was very friendly and speedy as well. My recommendation for the main course is the chicken curry with the gravy sauce. Value for money was a bit on the upper side.

The chef from my fav Indian restaurant Tandoori ( which closed before Covid) in Seefeld came here! What a surprise! The food is really authentic though the location is a bit far from the city center. If you are looking for authentic Indian food, it is worth a little longer tram ride here. They have quite a big balcony for summer dining in the green outdoors.

What a delight! We were pleasantly surprised by the lovely green outdoor patio in the back and even more surprised by the deliscious food! Will definitely be back (or try their takeaway/ delivery)! 😍

Really enjoyed our food. Dal Makhani was creamy and full of flavour. Chicken vindaloo was spicy and with fresh flavours. We came at 10 pm too! Highly recommended!

Best indian I have been yet. I would prefer a naan with only cheese and the cheese to be stringy cheese. Anyway a personal preference and probably not typical. The waiter was very nice and friendly. We had a great experience.

Went in September 2022 during family vacation from Singapore to Zurich .Food was home made, the chef was professiknal.considerate to customize food as per kids/adult requirements (gesture is well appreciated). pros: Great food, nostalgic setup, chef an indian from.Uttaranchal, gives individual.attention to customers. Cons (Switzerland overall): This is Zurich.Everything is costly, costlier than Singapore by 4 times. Be prepared to splurge.

We had to wait 40 minutes and it took a request until our orders were taken. We had to wait another 20 minutes and a further request was necessary to have our drinks served. Other than the fact that there was a hair in my food the food was fine. We got free drinks as amends.

As a food lover who is always in search for good Indian food, I came to know about this place from my Italian boss. This place has a very warm, homely and elegant vibe. We had ordered a variety of tandoori dishes along with Dal Makhani and chicken curry. It was delicious! This place is highly recommended!

We had dinner here yesterday and ordered Sabudana Vada, Chicken Tikka, Methi Chicken, Dal Makkhani, Lachchha Paratha and Gaajar Halwa. All the food items were authentic and very delicious. The staff here are very friendly and interactive. We will highly recommend this restaurant, it's definitely one of the best for Indian cuisine in Zurich.

Very good Indian restaurant that, in addition to the classic dishes, also offers delicious specialties from different regions that are otherwise rarely found on menus.

I dined with my two friends at around 9pm. We were greeted with a kind server (apologies didn't get his name) and he directed us to the seats inside. The ambience of the restaurant is simply just excellent! The next awesome thing was, their food was really really good! Though the price can be a little steep as compared back to my country, it's definitely worth every penny spent! All of us had a good time dining in!
