Simple but highly recommended Indian restaurant. The owner is very accommodating, the food is delicious. Interior could be cared for with a little more love, but I'll be happy to come back!

Delicious, conforting food, big portions and good quality-price ratio, good variety of dishes. Impeccable, kind, fast service. 10/10 would recommend.

Authentic Indian Food. Very nice host, like a typical family restaurant. Good food, good taste! Try their green chutney and achar! It's awesome. Ambience can be improved slightly, but it's compensated by the food quality.

Hidden Gem…..Amazing and delicious meal…had dal tadka and dal makhni along with naan and rice, the portions were good enough..the owner is very welcoming and friendly.. would definitely go back whenever in Lucerne.

Most authentic Indian punjabi food in Switzerland. The owner is very friendly. We ordered Paneer kadai and Butter Naan and it was delicious.

We enjoyed our dinner with family - the Mango Lassi was delicious as well as the chicken, vegi and lamb curry!

Medium curry tasted very mild, took a long to receive food and receive service despite a fairly empty restaurant and they serve no tap water. Expensive for what was served.

Got an Indian restaurant here in Luzern, and trust me when I say this…the food is simply amazing. You would get a feel of an authentic Indian dhaba and on top of that, owner of the place is very friendly and helpful. Would highly RECOMMEND!!

Food was very tasty and authentic. Service was very friendly but got to wait for almost an hour for the food to be served. Restaurant is of a very simple, old and basic reno. Price should be lowered given the above conditions.

Very delicious food, I gave it a 4 because it took a long time to serve us the food, but in general it is very delicious. Very good flavor.

I have ordered Samosa , Kofta dish and Naan with Mango lassi. I don't know if they managed to get paid reviews and getting more stars. They dont cook anythig which is nowhere near Indian. I visited only because I saw other peoples ratings. May be folks must be eating Non vegetarian but veg forget it. Atleast Vegetarian food these folks can't cook properly. Samosa was also worst. Very hard as if precooked they buy from stores and serve. Overall fake ratings is my personal view basis my own experience.

Worst restaurant I have ever seen outside India. No Respect for customers. When we asked for food he said 10 min and then made us wait for 20 mins . After that we again asked , he said 10 minutes. Then I asked if it was confirmed , he said I am not your gulam/Banda. I would not recommend going to this restaurant until there is some helplessness. Other restaurants in the vicinity, are very good. 🙏

I think this place has high views since its Indian restaurant otherwise a pretty average place with high prices. Biryani was good and in decent quantity. Tea was okay but nothing special. Service was average. They are present in front of bus stop.

A bit spartan ambience, but fine authentic food at reasonable prices. However, the chai tea was a bit too small.

Excellent Indian cuisine in a simple atmosphere. Perfect butter chicken, very tender with a creamy, mild sauce, which has an intense taste that is not only reminiscent of tomato sauce. The meat of Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Pakora is also very tender and delicious. Very friendly service.

We had ordered roti, naan, dal makhani, dal tadka, rice and mango lassi. Every dish was just yumm. Pickle was extraordinary, it was homemade. Highly recommended if you are in Luzern. Indian food at its best in Swiss.

Good food. Taste just like India. All entrees come with rice. Unfortunately they don't give it to you unless you ask for it. This was the only negative point. However I didn't deduct any stars as the taste and service were great.

I was in Lucerne with my wife for a day trip. We had been eating local food for few days and then decided to have good Indian food. We found this restaurant online. And the food was super amazing!! If you are in Lucerne you should not miss this restaurant.

Definitely must try.. Food was also good.. Loved green chilly sauce thecha style.. Food was hot n fresh.. If possible, please open a branch in Paris also. You will have a great response for sure if the service and quality is same as we received..

Tastey food, Veg biryani was good. we went 3 days regularly. All Indian restaurant cook as per localites( less masala,) they gave pickles, green chutney ( very spicy,)onions which is good. Tea ---not good Water-like any other restaurant they too charge for Hot water(it's tap water, still they charge,,it's ok.) Where in Friebourg Indian restaurant Served hot water too, with cute smile she said "Indians ke liye itna toh kar sakte hai "

Average Indian fare but outrageously expensive. Got dal makhni, butter chicken (along with 2 naans and coke) for 2 people and the price was over 60 francs! The dal makhni was decent, the butter chicken was insipid. If you’re an Indian visiting I would suggest you ask them to add a lot of spice.

In Luzern and want to have some Indian food? You definitely need to come to this restaurant for some great Punjabi cooking by Punjabi chefs! This is a simple, laidback restaurant with warm service and good North Indian food. We loved everything. The freshly made nimbu pani (sweet and salty lemon soda) was incredibly refreshing and I highly recommend it, it is honestly the best I have had in Europe+UK! The butter-laden garlic naan was fabulous, Dal Makhani and Butter chicken were equally delicious, and the paneer was wonderfully soft. The flavour of the curries was not typical restaurant-style, felt more homely, which was a welcome change. The spice and salt levels were perfect throughout. Our mains were also accompanied with some sliced onions, green chilli oil (which went wonderfully with the onions) and a proper, Punjabi mango pickle (homemade of course, and as good as it gets!). The prices were a little steep but we didn’t mind too much because we thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

Worst service ever. The owner seems like not happy seeing us. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Biriyani. The taste was ok and the portion was very small. Nothing to be excited about.

I was pleasantly surprised with the food I had at this restaurant. The highlight for me was the palak paneer. It was actually savory, unlike most of the dishes I’ve had at other North Indian restaurants. Interestingly, the palak wasn’t fully ground, giving the dish a different texture. Definitely worth a try!

We were looking for a good Indian restaurant in Lucerne, after a tiring day all you need is a TASTY meal!! We ordered a malai kofta (highly recommend), paneer tikka, garlic naan and Roti. Dishes were served with basmati rice and a nice side of onions, punjabi achaar and a homemade green chilli chutney. The food was delicious, and best meal in our 7 day Swiss trip. The owner was very friendly and cheerful, would highly recommend visiting while in Luzern! We visited again on the 2nd night, ordered a chicken dish and it did not disappoint!

Authentic Indian place run by Punjabi family. Looks unassuming but food is great! Reminds of Indian dhabas. Small touches like homemade achar and saunf remind you of restaurants in India. Highly recommend.

We visited The Indian Restaurant (TIR) Luzerne very recently with family. We were visiting the city from the US, and have had a chance to visit some very good Indian restaurants in US and Canada. We found TIR Luzerne to be one of the best amongst the places we have eaten so far. The food was delicious, hot and nicely served. The service was excellent as well. The owners and their family made frequent trips to check on things, and were happy to talk to us about their journey (without being too intrusive to our dinner!). The dining hall was a bit hot as some other reviewers commented. However the restaurant has a patio where they serve and that was a good choice for us to sit out (while in Europe, do as the Europeans do!). What a treat it was to eat at TIR Luzerne!

Dharmendar ji, tussi great ho. Excellent restaurant, very high quality and authentic Indian food. The quality of roti, paneer, gravy and everything else was top notch. We dined here twice in two nights and we’re fully satisfied with the food. Owner very nice. Lots of Indian tourists. Food was okay, but not appropriate for the price. Completely overpriced main courses. Cleanliness also leaves a lot to be desired. Tables, chairs, toilets were actually pretty dirty. Won't go there anymore.

Went here tonight for dinner with a group and it was fantastic! We were the only ones in the restaurant and service was lovely, food took a little while to come out but everyone was served at the same time. Highly recommend the chana masala or butter chicken, very yummy!

Awesome food. I had Roti, chicken tikka curry and lamb biryani. Food was good. Location near to main lucerne station, 10 mins walk. Or 3 mins in bus. Best thing was mango pickle, which he says is home made.

Disappointed curry was not authentic Naan although was good

We ordered an appetizer and 3 different entrees and every one of them was delicious. Service was great. I highly recommend this place.
