Istanbul Imbiss in Meiringen

The food is good, but the delivery service is lousy (the delivery person was friendly). Didn't receive the whole order, waited another hour after calling for the rest of the order and then didn't receive what I ordered again...

Attention scam, I didn't get my 2 tips and couldn't be reached either.

I am posting as a Korean first. I had to get to Gelmer in a hurry, but all the coin lockers were full. I saw this house in a hurry and asked to store my luggage, and they gladly obliged, and thanks to that, I even had dinner here. The price was very cheap and the taste was great. The owner is also very kind. I am very grateful and highly recommend it.

Clean food and the burger was the most delicious of the dishes

Kebab was not so good because the ingredients was not fresh I guess. Tables was not clean enough too.

We knew we had a stop over in Meiringen, so we were searching for somewhere convenient and decent to eat. We felt this place was suitable given its overall positive reviews but upon arrival we discovered flies were EVERYWHERE. All over the lettuce, onions, tomatoes etc. unfortunately I only noticed this after I had placed my order, or I would have walked out straight away. I tried to select vegetables for my kebab that had the least amount of flies on them, but that was almost impossible and futile. I understand it can be difficult to keep flies away in summer but the business should at least attempt to keep the vegetables covered. Lost my appetite and couldn’t finish my food because of this.

Good döner shop in the middle of swiss alps. Place is a bit small for sitting but you also have the option to sit outside. Taste is also very good and the food is served hot. 2 mins walk from the bahnhof.

The food there, especially the Dürüm, was very tasty. The prices were a bit high, but I still give it 5 stars because the experience there was great.

Boss is perfect. I always enjoy going there. If I need delivery, he brings it. What I order is always good, always what I love (without or with). If I don't have time to cook, I just order from him. I know a lot of shops, but I haven't been disappointed with them yet.

very bad service! I went in to order a kebab on my break from work! I waited and the chef served everyone who came after me! when I didn't have much time and was serving a whole table plus 4 other people! I won't come back!

It took really long and its still cold. They didn‘t put enough sauce and meat was not enough either! And at the end you have to pay cash cause they don‘t take car

Doner kebabs are a pure pleasure and highly recommended. The fries and pizzas - well, edible but not really anything special. As far as I know, the company is a family business - unfortunately, since the two young men have been on site, the service has declined significantly. The renovation of the location helped the snack bar become the place to be to wait for the next train.

The kebab was too dry and didn't have enough sauce. The meat had little taste. Staff was very unfriendly.

Meat wasn't very tasty because it was too salty. The sauce wasn't enough and I ordered cocktail hot but I only got cocktail sauce that wasn't hot. I ordered a kebab without tomatoes but I got a kebab with tomato. I hope you see this post and would think about your food again

Jumbo kebab smaller than normal kebab! Scandalous, service unfriendly, food doesn't taste good and value for money is not there. Never again and I recommend you not to eat here. There are much better kebab shops in the area.

We bought kebab and durum, we weren't asked what vegetables we want inside or sauce.... Also can't pay with card, only cash ...

Unmotivated, rude service. It was in vain to hope for a smile or a kind word. I was just able to pull myself together to get up and serve. Forgot to put sauce in my Dürüm - maybe even on purpose - maybe because I asked if it was possible to get my Dürüm within 7 minutes because the train was leaving then 🤷‍♂️ Too bad... Dürüm was therefore very bland :(
