We have always received a very friendly welcome here, the service is top! The food was always fresh and very tasty, whether pizza of the day, salads, soup or dishes from the menu. The prices are moderate and you never have to wait long for your food. Absolutely recommended and we would love to come back 😊

I was in Zurich in July and October for work reasons and ate at Allegro both times because it was so fine. The pizza and the homemade limoncello are delicious👌🏼The service is very friendly and accommodating. I would happily recommend it 😊

Highly recommended! My family with two boys 11 and 13 dined here on two nights during our stay in Zurich. Very good food, great and friendly service, and nice outdoor patio. Among our meals we had various pastas, salads, appetizers, along with their fresh bread. All were good to excellent - especially the pizza. Their wine list is also quite good. Kids meals are available at a discount as well. The restaurant happily accommodated my off-menu request for tortellini with pesto (thank you - it was excellent 👌!). Prices are very, very reasonable for Zurich and the quality of the experience. We wish there were fewer smokers on the patio but this is Europe after all 😂 and maybe this will be good news for some of you. At any rate, dine with confidence here - you'll have a positive experience to be sure and your service will be excellent. You may also be treated to complimentary Limoncello if you have time to linger!

If you're looking for a restaurant that's so good, it's almost worth selling your soul for, look no further than this place! I go there so often, it's almost like a second home to me. The food here is so delicious, it's like a party in my mouth every time. And not just the lunch menu, but also dinner and desserts - they've got it all. The only downside is that I can never decide what to order because everything looks so darn tasty. It's like a culinary minefield, and I'm the happiest landmine ever. The staff here are amazing, too. They're always so friendly and accommodating, and they make sure to take great care of you and anyone who's with you. And if you have a child or a furry friend with you, don't worry - they're totally cool with that. Overall, it's always a pleasure to go to Allegro restaurant. The only downside is that I always leave feeling like I've gained 10 pounds, but that's a small price to pay for such delicious food and great service. So if you're looking for a good time, some amazing food, and a staff that treats you like family, this is the place to be. Just make sure to wear stretchy pants!

Maybe as an Italian I simply have high standards for Italian restaurants, but serving the pasta lukewarm/cold is not an option at all, and if the pasta is also overcooked...then this is very difficult to justify. An Italian flair doesn't necessarily make an Italian restaurant. Caffé doppio that too: without crema! No, that wasn't for me!

Amazing service and food, paired with a cosy atmosphere! 🌟 My husband and me had a lunch at Allegro today and were very satisfied with our meals and the kindness of the waitress and the owner. After meal, we were offered a free limoncello! Also, they have some card games (e.g. many different editions of Dobble), in case you decide to have some fun time after the meal! No doubt we will visit this restaurant again! 😊

Should have written a review sooner. The food is top. The nut salad with bacon and egg is my personal recommendation for the starter. Sometimes they have fresh mules/cozze, which are always recommended, but the other food is also great. For dessert I recommend the homemade panna cotta, but unfortunately the whipped cream isn't great, so I always order it without. But the absolute highlight are the employees. The whole team is always in a good mood and friendly. They give good recommendations and sometimes make a joke at the right moment. All in all, we can only recommend the restaurant!
