Bad, worse, Jovis! So let's start with the experience. I walked in and was immediately struck by an unpleasant smell (like someone had farted on me). Afterwards I wanted to order in French, but the good lady couldn't speak this language. After that I just ordered my croissant, when I bit into it my anger reached its peak - my collar would burst (or something)?! It was like a rock, hard and dry, like I would eat a croissant after the holidays (or rather try since it's not possible). I had to check afterwards whether I hadn't lost a tooth..... And this for 2.90.- ..... a disgrace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The nut snail was very tasty but the Berliner was unfortunately not edible. Nevertheless, I am happy about the possibility of buying gluten-free products, even though they are a bit expensive.

The pretzel was pretty good. Mostly because it has the right pretzel flavoring. The texture wasn’t as chewy as I would have liked but GF baking is hard. The cookies were delicious.

The gluten-free products are very tasty. The selection is good, there are seasonal specialties. My favorite shop.

I bought something for my colleague and was amazed that there were so many gluten-free products. I only bought one loaf of bread but it all looked delicious. I think the offer is great there.

I came for the "drei Königskuchen" and bought some other pastries along with it as well - everything was super tasty & I would definitely recommend it, much better than most places you find in the Zurich region.

Absolutely delicious! My favorite is the vegan brownie with the walnuts inside. They are moist, fluffy and have a incredible delicious taste♥️

Very disappointing food, very dry and feels like it's not fresh. Too bad other gluten free bakeries are worlds ahead.

My first purchase was moderately satisfactory. The butter topping was disappointing (very dry, compact and tasteless). Perhaps an improvement can be achieved otherwise it would be better to remove it from the range. The butter pretzel was also dry and compact. The bacon button was more aromatic and seemed fresher. I enjoyed the Nussschnegg. Have courage and innovation as you continue to develop!

Delicious! I am delighted to have discovered this place. There was sils bread, braid, sweet potato bread, seeded bread and muesli, all gluten-free and 100% safe to eat.

The gluten-free bakery is a pleasing addition for those with gluten-free needs. The ambience may not be particularly inviting, but the focus here is certainly on the quality of the gluten-free products. I bought a bread and a roll for a whopping 10 CHF, but the taste was quite bland and the bread tended to fall apart when I spread it. The consistency of the breads showed a fresh, crisp crust, but the interior was a bit dry. Unfortunately the products weren't particularly edible the next day. Still, I'm willing to give the bakery another chance by trying out their sweet pieces. Maybe these are better and can make up for the initial disappointing experiences.

All food is gluten free. Quite expensive, and limited offerings during the day. They have an online shop with the option to fetch it in store, avoiding shipping cost.

I love jovi’s! When I moved to Bern, the first thing I did was looking for gluten free options and this backery has been my little treat since then! It’s quite expensive but everything is delicious.

first of all, I want to fully support any bakery that takes it upon themselves to go glutenfree, so here are 4 stars for this alone. the baked sweets are really good, but as everywhere, I yet have to find good glutenfree bread. I'm not saying it's bad; it's good enough if there is nothing else, but it's not "the best" I have ever had. further, here in Zurich I buy it through the Reformhaus and it's not always super-fresh and we all know glutenfree bread doesn't really hold to the next day. that's something that should be taken into consideration when sold the next day. and the "Croissant" has to go off the menu or get a different name, it was more like a Grittibänz (not in a good way). glutenfree Croissants are hard to do. but you don't have to. we migh thave to just accept that fact and let them be. but at the end of the day, any bread is better than no bread, so I'll definitely keep coming back. thanks Jovi!

Still as amazing as the last time

Since I have to eat gluten-free, Jovi's is a godsend for me. The selection of fine gluten-free breads and patisserie is huge and the quality is great.

My first visit was positive, delicious vegan "salmon" sandwich with avocado (really great) and a vegan cranberry chestnut tart. It's a shame there weren't more vegan sweet pastries (there was also an apple cake). I will definitely go again. Points deducted only for the price, I paid more than CHF 13.00 for a sandwich and a dessert.

Super delicious finds here at Jovi’s! The holunder rabarbar torte is heavenly- as was the bagel with vegan lachs and avocado. So happy I could finally come and try! They had a really beautiful assortment of pastries that you always drool over at a regular bakery, but can never try. I will definitely be back to sample some more the next time I take the trip from Basel.

It's great that there is finally a gluten-free bakery in Bern. Unfortunately, many products contain lactose. Quite expensive in terms of price, especially for the small sandwiches. In terms of taste, they weren't crazy either. But the whole thing certainly has a lot of potential. So keep it up! :-)

Service very nice Products are very good but also a bit expensive, I know but please remember this is a bakery for gluten allergy sufferers and unfortunately we have to pay more for everything. But I think that Jovis finally gives us a completely new attitude to life, and that is very important. Conclusion: If you are gluten intolerant or only eat gluten free, then I can only recommend this bakery to you!
