Super delicious cheese fondue. Mega friendly service. Unfortunately the music is quite loud and the traffic jam in front of the only toilet is long.

Rarely have we experienced such good service as at Kramer. We didn't have a reservation and sat outside in the windy weather. When the first table became available inside, the waiter immediately came to us and offered us the place inside. Unfortunately it's not a given, but extremely attentive. Basically the service(s) was very, very friendly. The food was also absolutely recommended. We would be happy to come back next time you visit Bern!

The burger itself is good, but way too expensive. The small burger costs 27.50. We ordered tap water and were brought Arkina water in a 3dl glass for 4.80 each. When I asked why we were given this water, the unsure and overwhelmed waiter simply said that it was only possible if we ordered something. I really can't recommend the restaurant.

The two burgers are good and generous, with nice potatoes on the side. But that certain something in the taste is simply missing for a top rating. But definitely recommended.

You shouldn't have to rush to the toilet because there is exactly 1!! Toilets for men and women shared throughout the restaurant

The young waiter wiped the dirty table with his hand. I asked the young gentleman to clean the table and we never saw him again. Only one toilet for the relatively large restaurant. Please, dear managing director, train employees better.

We just had a quick drink there. What I could see is that there are many small and delicate dishes that look fine. The service is attentive and very nice. Next time we will eat there too!

The food at Kramer is super tasty and there is a very diverse selection. From bowls to burgers, tarte flambée and aperitif platters, there is something for every taste! The staff was very friendly and relaxed. Basically it is very comfortable in the Kramer, unfortunately we got a table in a very narrow corner... but otherwise highly recommended!

There is a small menu with birger, bowl and soup. The food is good, you can't fault it. But the price/performance ratio is far from good. You pay CHF 19.50 for a bowl of soup. Elsewhere you can get an equally good soup for CHF 6.00 - 12.00. But there is fast service for that. Not many places have so many staff for so few guests.

We both enjoyed every second being there while eating lunch together

It has very nice service (especially the young lady with curry blonde hair and a nose piercing) and very good beer at a good price! I can only recommend Kramer!

We were just in for a bottle of red but the food smelled and looked amazing and the staff was very friendly.

The staff at the hotel recommended it to me as a fondue restaurant, so I went there and it was good... There aren't many places that serve raw meat tartar and fondue, so I went there, but I think tartar is better than fondue, and hamburger is probably better than fondue.

The tarte flambée, the burger or the tartare - sensational. The service is attentive, or you draw attention to yourself. A great ambience, it invites you to linger.

A really cozy place in the heart of Berna. Service is really nice (the waiter who attended us in spanish, really good! 10/10, thanks 😊). We ordered a flamenkuchen and a fondue. Fondue was really tasty and not too much strong, I really enjoyed it and the tarte flambe so light and delicious. Quality / price is good and I recommend to visit it.

Good location in the old town. Tarte flambée was good, could have been in the oven for 1 minute longer. Service was top! Gladly again.

The dishes are good, but the service is pretty terrible. Although there are several waiters and the restaurant is far from full (3:30 p.m. on a Saturday), you have to ask several times to get a glass of water, and wait a long time for either water or desserts... Rather high prices.

I had the flammkuchen which was very good with a valaisanne white IPA which was very tasty. The service was very good.

The service was very good and friendly. But we had to wait a long time until the order was taken. It also took a long time for the drinks to arrive and the food also took forever (and the menus are simple). The tables and chairs outside were super uncomfortable. There was only one toilet and I had to queue there. The selection of menus is very manageable. Printed menu cards are only available upon request (otherwise scan the QR code). The drinks and especially the homemade ice tea are excellent. Overall, it was a bit too expensive for me and the portion size was too meager. For example, we ordered antipasti as a starter, but there was one piece of bread too few when we were there. When it came to drinks, there was one too many. Conclusion: It was OK, but I won't go back and don't recommend it.

I thought the Kramer burger was very expensive and I don't know why they call it a pork burger if it is shredded pork with tomato sauce and lettuce and onion on top. Small and 22.5 Swiss francs. If you wanted potatoes it was 7 francs more. It was good but I wouldn't go back. Waiter service good.

The fondue was very delicious, the bread they gave us was fresh and crunchy still. The tofu poke bowl I ordered was nothing more than basic and probably not worth the price but it was alright. My main issue is how they charged me 3 francs for a glass of TAP water. If you’re going to charge for tap water, at least have the kindness beforehand to inform the customer before you charge them 3 francs. I don’t know if this is normal in Bern but never have I been charged 3 francs for a small glass of lukewarm tap water. Just be aware of that before you go. I would still recommend this place for their fondue though :)

We ordered a pulled pork burger, beef chunk rice, and Swiss cheese fondue. The burger was ordinary. The fondue was a first-time try, not too strong in flavor, slightly salty. The beef rice was the most delicious dish, the rice was cooked perfectly using sushi rice, and it was the best dish of the day. The service was very attentive.

the soup was very bad. Several guests had to give them back. Main course (bowl) much too oily. I haven't had such a bad meal out for a long time. Very expensive.

I really like the location, the waiters were really friendly and the food was good. I had made a reservation, but unfortunately the reservation was lost/was not noted. So we sat inside at first but when the next spot outside became available we were seated right there. So a good solution was found :) Even though we only ordered two tarte flambées, we had to wait almost an hour for them, even though from our point of view it didn't look that crowded - but we can't give a 100% assessment of what's going on behind the scenes. Overall it was a nice evening ☺️ 4/5 ⭐️

Drinks were very good. We didn't try any of the food, but everything looked delicious. Negative: Only one toilet for ALL guests. There was a long queue in front of it.

We ordered food there and asked for tap water. They brought us a small jug of water (about 5dl) and then charged us 6.50 for it ! Arguing that they have this rule of charging for tap water if didn’t order any drinks despite the fact that we had ordered food ! In my book, they are thieves…

I think the Kramer restaurant in the middle of the old town of Bern is brilliant. It has a nice, appealing and cozy atmosphere. You immediately feel comfortable in it. The cappuccino was excellent😊 The service was quick, attentive and very friendly. Highly recommended, I think. Great😊🍀

Burger not worth visiting. Service great.

The food is delicious and the wine selection is limited but good, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. As a returning guest who consumes for 58.- there is also a tip of almost 7.- Sfr, pay with 200.- Sfr and you get almost 30.- Sfr back? Pointed out, comment oops and a grin. No apology or anything, never again! Outrageous rip-off of the customer and a definite no-go! That was definitely my last visit.

Restaurant itself looks nice and service was friendly but clearly overwhelmed. Unfortunately the food was not good and overpriced. Burger with pulled pork and BBQ sauce was unfortunately very sad to look at. There was nothing BBQ about it, it was more of a pepper sauce. Buns were not fried, soggy and run of the mill. Unfortunately I can't recommend it.

The rooms are beautiful and inviting. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the food was a flop! Unfortunately, beef tartare was tough, had a strange consistency and color, didn't seem freshly prepared and was raw. One of the worst tartars I've ever eaten. Too expensive for CHF 36.00. The leaf lettuce for Sfr 7.00 probably came from the Sfr 2.95 pack salad from Migros and was definitely too expensive for that. A pity.

The “Kramer” is located in the beautiful old town. The restaurant is very cozy and nicely decorated. The service is very friendly and accommodating. The menu is varied and has something delicious for everyone. Ideal for stopping off with friends or family. Come back.....

Lounge style a bit of a mix with my order that’s ok but the burger with pork was a bit blend and the plate was cold means potatoes and burger were not warm that’s really a minus for me.

They serve perhaps one of the best chocolate cakes in town. Very pleasant in sweetness and somehow light. In combination with the mint and orange slice... just perfect!

The Kramer restaurant is beautifully located in the old town of Bern. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very inviting. The service was ok. For dinner we had Flammechueche, classic and Chèvre. I found both of them just "so-so", they looked great, but the taste was pretty bad. At first I wanted a beer with it, but Feldschlösschen... They have such great beer in Bern. There was just wine there.

Very tasty tarte flambée and friendly service

Sometimes hunger is the best cook, but unfortunately I had to leave the pulled pork burger. Pulled pork has a consistency that is much too “disintegrating”, only fibers are left, very dry, and there is also an unpleasant smell from the meat. This despite the very intense marinating, which was far from tasteful. Hours later, despite washing my hands, my fingers still smelled like it. Why are such dishes on the menu… we had to go somewhere else to eat afterwards. Well, the tourists only come once, the locals hardly ever come again.

Mojito without "Röhrli" is a bit difficult... there are also sustainable versions 😉

Walked a few times by, looks and feel of the restaurant would fit to me, menu card as well. Let's try. The service employees were really happy, warm and welcoming even on a busy evening. They have -for a restaurant- a massive choice of bottled beer, great! Ordered a bottled Uszit beer, and I was asked if I would like to have a glass to drink, perfect! Dislike it when i'm at a restaurant and have to drink directly from the bottle. We ordered a vegetarian burger and a pulled pork burger. Which are served quickly. You can choose for salad or baby potatoes with quark on the side. In my opinion the portion was not that big and the taste of the burger and the bun nothing that special. Presentation of the food, was great!
