Juanitos in Zug

Very unfriendly staff! Prices are totally overpriced (even for the train!) And if you reserve a table in advance, you may simply be sent away within 5 minutes because you haven't eaten anything. Despite ordering various drinks and nachos. If food is desired, you should indicate this when making a table reservation on the online site. Juanitos is not only a restaurant but also a bar. Things used to be a lot better. We always enjoyed coming. No longer convincing.

Enormous portion of food and really good quality! Everything delicious. Some vegetarian options (could definitely be more on the burito/fajita menu). Lovely service. In good weather the terrace with view in Zugersee is a great plus. Recommended.

Priced in the upper price range and for this price the (chicken) meat doesn't even come from Switzerland! Small vegetarian selection of the menu. The cocktail selection is large and varied. The portion of the main course was too big for me. I then asked if I could take it home. Even though I asked for everything to be packed, not everything was there. I thought that was a shame because I no longer had a complete menu.

Good food but very pricey. Service is mix and depends on who is serving. A bit crowded.

Good! We had 16 people and everything was nice and relaxed yet very well organised. It is small and very busy restaurant so I appreciate the work of our waitrress even more. Colorful interesting dishes and great drinks. The menu is not boring. Thank you.

The restaurant is small but nice. It is beautifully located on Lake Zug and offers a great view if you get a window seat. The service is very accommodating and the food is simply fantastic.

I really enjoy the food here. My two best friends and I come here all the time, and the nachos with chicken is absolutely our favorite. I personally like the Chimichangas as well and the burritos. Generally am very happy with the food. The staff is also super friendly and everything is very authentic. They're a little pricy for my taste, but I wouldn't keep coming back if it weren't worth it!

Lunch at this Mexican restaurant was a delightful experience. The burritos were fantastic, and the waitress was exceptionally kind and attentive. Highly recommended for a delicious lunch with excellent service. 🌮🌯😊

Much too expensive for the quality! I ate Mexican at the Mall near Lucerne for cheaper and better! The service was ok, but as we were for the 1st service from 5-8 p.m. to 7:55 p.m. we were asked to leave! Not very nice to do 2 services!

We went there spontaneously. There are parking spaces near the restaurant where you can park for one hour. This should be enough time to enjoy the delicious food and fine drinks. Although it was quite crowded, we were able to sit down after a couple left the restaurant. The food tastes very tasty and the loving preparation is very commendable. In addition, the entire staff is very friendly and accommodating. We also really liked the atmosphere. At the end we received the little hat as a gift. Therefore a top restaurant that you should definitely try out 😍 Thank you for the great evening and would be happy to come again 😊

On my visit I had the beef burrito. The taste is good, the portions are a little big in my opinion. Luckily you can take leftover food with you. The service was friendly and you didn't have to wait very long for the food. The restaurant is nicely decorated, toilets were clean and you have a wonderful view of Lake Zug.

We were there today at 10:20 p.m. with 6 colleagues, wanted something to drink and the bartender and the boss didn't want us to drink something because last week someone gave a 1 star review and she said that's us? question are they all based on substances? Do they all drink while working? In any case, it was the biggest disrespect I have ever experienced in Zug and we donate at least 1000 euros a week with the group there Avoid at all costs

The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. The portions are quite large, so you definitely won't leave the restaurant hungry. The Chickem burrito is recommended. In terms of ambience, the tables are very close to each other.

Waiting was too long, they cooked quesadilla 25 minutes and after I was waiting a bill for 15 minutes, how such time could be acceptable in a restaurant?

Outstanding food! From the nachos as a starter to the chicken & meat fajitas as the main course, everything was great. We will definitely come back again.

The food and service are fine. A disadvantage is the noise from car traffic when you sit outside on the terrace. You'd better sit inside.

Juanito's is definitely worth a visit! The food was really, really tasty (large portions), despite the restaurant being full, we were served quickly and friendly! Friendly and competent service, super fine food and large portions. They even had the birthday announced two weeks in advance on their radar and surprised us with a lovely dessert. Schnapps/liqueur were also on the house.🤩

the staff wasn‘t that friendly, the food is overpriced and we even had to switch seats due to a group that arrived too early…. it wasn‘t even possible to add something to a dish, which in almost 2023 this should be guaranteed

Lovely spot on lake zug serving the best cocktails, notably the juanito and pina colada’s which taste as good as they look! Had food another time which was only ok , but have come back many times for the cocktails alone !! 🍸🍹

Juanito's always offers a very relaxed and, above all, great atmosphere. the food is delicious and the service is very friendly.

Right on the lake in Zug. Great location and very diverse menu. Prices rather high. Staff friendly and accommodating. Reservations on Thursdays, Fridays and weekend evenings are recommended as they are always well booked.

The food was good, the meat was tough in a few places, but it wasn't too bad. The service was very friendly and attentive. Overall a successful evening.

Went for a walk with my family at Lake Zug and then hiked on the Zug community of heirs. Afterwards we went to eat Mexican food. It was very nice with good food and a good atmosphere. The service was very friendly and attentive and gave us good advice. I'd love to go there again.

I've been coming here for the delicious Banana Coconut Chicken Fajitas for about 15 years.

Great ambiance at this restaurant. Sit outside and you can enjoy the sunset and a blazing sky. Food was plentiful. We ordered three fajitas and one chicken grillado. They were all very tasty.
