A home-style restaurant with good food. The apple chüeli for dessert are highly recommended. You get a good portion. At Schnipo you have two schnitzels, so you've definitely eaten enough😄

Food is nice but service has worsen significantly in the last couple of years. They only have one person for the entire restaurant doing everything, serving the tables, making coffee, charging, etc. The service is too slow and you have to chase them all the time. Two hours for a couple of schnitzel and wienerli…better go to other places

An absolute disgrace! Despite making a reservation, we didn't even get to eat due to the poor service. Table not free, answers snippy, impudent.

Quaint economy - good food - more staff would be necessary in the service as there is not enough person and the "apprentice" was no real help.

The food is very fine, lovingly prepared and most of the meat used comes from our own farm. The view is very beautiful, surrounded by meadows. The children can play and let off steam in the playground. We would like to come again.

Restaurant with home-style cuisine just outside. Ideal for a weekend trip by bike or on foot. There is a spacious playground near the farm, making it ideal for families.

Well-attended, original, authentic Swiss restaurant in a rural location, something that doesn't exist much in the canton of Zug anymore, so it's definitely something special. Meat from our own farm. Known for pork. But there is also veal, beef and fish crispy. Portions were large, everything was very good, there were no vegetables on the plate. Service quick and friendly. Vegetarians and vegans will not be happy in this restaurant 😉

Great Swiss food in a cozy restaurant in a house that's over 400 years old. The meat comes from their own farm nearby. In the summer, tables are set outside so you can eat in the green, with a playground for the kids right next to it.

Drinks and food came very quickly. (Various meals were pre-ordered) The staff was very friendly and well-positioned despite the many guests.

Service bad Despite having two children with us, we didn't receive a children's bed, the table next door did... Paying went on in the same way forever. eat OK, not good, not bad.. Children could play but everything was a bit shabby and run down. Maybe they should sweep the floor outside, remove leaves, branches etc. for the ambience.

I give this an honest 3 stars Reasons: On a Sunday you shouldn't hire two waiters to serve a full restaurant. Nevertheless, hats off that one of the two still had so much humor and played down his stress level. The other waitress, however - when people are still eating - and want to come and clear away - is absolutely cheeky - just wanting to ask if you're allowed... The table occupancy, I have to say - cramming eleven of us into a table of six - wasn't nice! Another family - the same number - easily had the larger table! Well, after a bit of discussion, we got one more table, but THAT doesn't have to be the case right from the start! The food per se was good here too 9.00 for a starter plate of mixed salad?? Sorry? 16.50 for Pommer/Chicken Nuggets children's menu where there were just 3 nuggets on it? Good here too, thanks to the waiter who brought us 4 more - because we complained - because he apparently didn't see that there were less on the plate - as I said - 2 waiters for such a full restaurant... At prices like that And then sometimes on a whim... What a pity

Nice terrasse. Disgusting service . I’ve been here several times.Tables are not cleaned. Specially in this covid times, I find it dangerous. When I tried to order they told me to slow down and order when he was asking me. They did not pour the drink into glasses. Extremely rude staff.

Rarely experienced such rude staff. One might think that restaurants would be happy to be able to serve guests again after Corona, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. If the answer to the question what is there is: "Do you feel like I have time to explain this to you?" Sorry, but it seems like this restaurant is not interested in guests despite the Corona easing!

Highly recommended! I ordered deer meat with chestnuts and spätzli. Oh, i don't remember when I last time ate smth this delicios! Even if it was an exotic second dish, it costed surprisingly not expensive. My husband ate pumpkin soup and bratwurst. He was more than happy about his meal too

This certainly wasn't my first visit to this restaurant. I love their food, but I do agree with other reviewers that service could be better. On my last visit, to my shock (after paying the bill and leaving a decent tip), I saw that they charged me for a slice of lemon which I requested for my Coke. This is something that is simply unacceptable and it leaves such a bad taste in the mouth. Even more shocking is that their POS has an item for it and it doesn't just appear as miscellaneous!! What more can I say. I'll have to go somewhere else to enjoy Schnitzel and Cordon Bleu from now on.

This is an excellent place to have a local Swiss food..with delicious fish nuggets made of fish caught fresh from the lake. Very kids friendly. Best outdoor experience catering to all types of taste buds.

Es gab leckere Hacktätschli vom Hof. Die Bedienung hatte im vollen Restaurant alle Hände voll zu tun, aber blieb stets sehr nett und aufmerksam. Da kann sich manche Beiz ein Vorbild nehmen.
