In addition to the idyllic backdrop of the Üetliberg, there is not only an insider tip for coffee lovers, but also a place full of love and humor. Not only is homemade coffee served here, the warm-hearted owner talks with passion about the little joys of everyday life while putting a smile on his guests' faces. In addition to excellent coffee, the Kafi also acts as a rescue center for crisis-stricken coffee machines. Who would have thought that in addition to delicious caffeine, repair services would also be offered? A visit is definitely a declaration of love for good coffee and a touch of humor. The perfect mix for an unforgettable enjoyment!!😄☕️

The hostess was not only very friendly, but also extremely entertaining. The excellent coffee made my visit a real pleasure. The kiosk is definitely worth a stop, especially if you're looking for good coffee and friendly service.

Small kiosk near the station. Since I'm Italian I had an espresso, very good. The manager serves excellent coffee accompanied by water and chocolate. Super recommended.

My friend & I had just finished a lovely walk down from Uetliberg (23.6.23) and as we passed by the Uitikon-Waldegg train station, saw that there was a little coffee shop tucked away in the station's waiting area. Kafi Offen is truly a delightful surprise! Excellent coffee, (we both had a macchiato) which was served with little chocolates and a glass of water, as in all true coffee shops. We were informed that the coffee beans are specially sourced by Mr Pino Gaudio. We also had a tasty Gipfeli each, which was warmed up for us. The lady running the coffee shop, Ms. Katharina Hofstetter, was super friendly, and even served my Indian guest some complimentary Swiss biscuits to try. (She also runs a fleamarket business and can be contacted at the number shown in one of my attached photos.) All in all, well worth a visit, especially if taking a walk in the area or on the Uetliberg.

Finally a real coffee at the Uitikon Waldegg station, instead of vending machines. The manager speaks Italian, and makes an espresso that is spectacular! Small snacks are also good. A little welcome refreshment when taking walks in the Uetliberg woods.

Great coffee from Pino Gaudio (Napoli), great atmosphere, a place to stay - great, I'm looking forward to the coffee tomorrow morning. One of those rare but energetic oases in the gray of everyday life.

Great use of the waiting area. You can only sit outside, but thanks to cushions and blankets it's cozy even in winter. Fine coffee, nice service
