Very suspicious food. The garnish tasted like it had been collected off all the pkates and washed in a bucket then re~served. Also the chicken was OFF

Delivery a disaster! there are always delays when we place orders in the morning before the restaurant even opens... having a 30 minute break at noon is really not ideal. Decent food but dry cheese naan with little cheese.

Ordered vegetarian samosas, they delivered chicken. When I pointed out it was chicken the waiter had the gall to refute my judgement and reassured me it was not chicken. So I ate more only to realize it was most definitely chicken, and off chicken at that!!! Disgusting. Also I'm pretty certain they spat in my next dish since I encountered a very weird slimy texture after it tasting pretty normal at first. Worst restaurant experience ever.

Worst customer service, we were required to order 6 main course dishes if we are 6 people, if we don’t we can’t order, as we were leaving the staff passed rude comments. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Order placed before opening for direct delivery via restaurant. Delivered 1h30 late than the indicated time (so after more than 2 hours of waiting) and after 3 calls... supposedly an accident but the delivery person had another version than Le Resto. The icing on the cake was that the desserts were missing but they were paid for! The impression that in this establishment, little importance is given to customers. Very disapointed !

When the restaurant opened, I tried the lunch buffet which I really liked. Excellent value for money. After several years without going back, I rediscovered the place to eat there in the evening, à la carte. Excellent meal! Subtle cuisine, beautiful presentation, generous quantity. The service is attentive and careful, the decor very pleasant. I definitely preferred the Swagat, the dark setting and the more...rustic cuisine.

Very good Indian meal. The room is very large and there were few people there that evening. So calm atmosphere is pleasant. The server was pleasant and attentive to needs. Possibility of taking your meal away if you have not finished it. I recommend.

Go there for lunch to experience their all can u eat buffet. Great price, great Indian food - plenty of options from butter chicken to paneer, grilled prawns to garlic Naan.

We had our New Year dinner during our stay at Vevey last night at Kashmir but it was not one of the good experiences. Butter Chicken tasted not around authentic butter Chicken but was chicken cooked well in cream without even 10 percent flavors like Butter Chicken. Butter chicken is expected to have butter and not loads of cream even if it is not made the authentic way. My wife spoke to the owner as being a Gastronomie person, she could not even eat the chicken as it just tasted sweet and all creamy without flavors but we don't think the feedback was even paid any attention to. Though we understand that Indian food cannot be too spicy to ensure local population can eat it however its the flavors that matter not chilly. Butter chicken is anyways the light spiced Indian delicacy and not too spicy so we dont see the need to make it sweet by only cooking it in lot of cream but not indian flavored spices. I wish people stop customizing the Indian food further to match local taste as otherwise we will be serving SwissIndian Food and not Indian food.

Excellent food and very friendly service. 9 people with 2 children, we were very well received, 10 different dishes and each one a treat, good wine. The naan was superb! I have never eaten the best, not even in India! Kashmir has Indian and Pakistani dishes, beef and vegetarian. The restaurant also does deliveries. I will definitely return soon as we had an excellent evening. I recommend this restaurant, 5 points for food and service!

A good and fresh meal, a pleasure to eat at Kashmir.

We really like the food and hospitality of this place. Palak paneer and cheese nan are my children's favorite. The team is very accommodating. The buffets are very good value for money. They even offer delivery to home.

The restaurant looked nice and so did the waiter until it was time for the main course. I communicated my allergies to the waiter only to end up finding them in my dishes and ending up in the emergency room, thanks for the evening.

Bad, it's not Indian food. We told them that we were not satisfied and this was taken very badly by the boss who was unpleasant. We sincerely advise anyone who wants to eat Indian food with good quality food to not go there!

I would rate this restaurant zero because the waiter sarcastically told that explaining things to Desi people is a big issue....he was trying to explain the two options of veg curry but owing to his limited English wasn't able to explain and in seconds he said that's the problem with you Desi people....he was racist and rude and when we said we are leaving because of his behavior he wasn't apologetic infact he was showing his anger....very disrespectful restaurant...how can you call yourself an Indian restaurant and treat Indians like this..... It was clear that he wanted to just cater to western crowds and this is the first time I have come across such an arrogant behavior in service industry...

Excellent restaurant, nothing to complain about with an all-you-can-eat buffet and quality products, the staff takes great care of its customers. A magnificent room inside and a terrace outside, easy to park in a nearby alley. For those who want to walk a little for digestion after a good meal, the restaurant is a few meters from Lake Geneva not far from the statue of Charlie Chapelin and the famous fork planted in the lake. I recommend this restaurant for the quality of its products as well as the service.

It was good but when you order a dish you expect to have the rice with it, when you see your chicken masala arriving for 25 bucks arriving by itself you get it in your throat.. Perhaps we should clarify that we must take the rice separately

THE WORS RESTAURANT IN VEVEY. 1/10 The worst and rip-off restaurant in the world. The order was 62 fr without the rice so a dish for 25 fr without accompaniment. Don't order anything from them. Dishonest and crooks and they insulted me, I will file a complaint with the police. Don't waste your money on people who are not respectful to customers.

I took an order of tandoori chicken with rice. The restaurant forgot to give me the rice I ordered. I called them back to let them know that this was missing from my order. In response, I was insulted. A real lack of seriousness and professionalism on the part of this restaurant. I will no longer place an order there. But also, I strongly recommend this restaurant.

I have already had it delivered several times and the cold chicken poorly served. The staff does not try to understand its very bitter customers. I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

Rating the lowest not because of the food ( not that I would give a five) but for a sensitive joke that the person who came with bill played on us. We asked for the bill for the four buffet plates that we had- he came - held the bill and smirked and said- it’s 350 CHf - we were surprised and silence and asked him again - he smirked and said- yes - 4 buffet plates- 350 it is ! We asked him to hand it over- of course we saw it was correctly billed and he was just cracking a “price- sensitive” joke on his customers!! Or should I say Indian customers!! I have been in Switzerland for the past 22 years and a bill has always been politely presented in front of us in a covered folder. I was hurt and ashamed that the restaurant guy was one of us and his customer respect was zero! In the land of hotel hospitality this was an unnecessary joke played on us. It wasn’t a mistake - it was played as a joke which was worse as he was smiling and smirking. I would not have even reviewed if it were a mistake

The boss did not accept us because we had vouchers, in order, for 50% of the range... Not a merchant at all and neither are we in this case. We left

This lovely Restaurant is absolutely the best choice if you are traveling along to Vevey or Montreux . Chef Thair and his colleagues, always satisfy every culinary wish, in a surprising way. I was hosted in the Kashmir hotel for a week, having dinner every night at Kashmir restaurant and it was a memorable experience. I'll definitely be back every time I get the chance! Eating well is always a pleasure,Thanks a lot !

It’s a really, surprisingly good and affordable Indian restaurant. I’ve only actually tried the good value lunch buffet due to work - as I don’t live in Vevey so am unlikely to visit in the evenings. There’s a good selection of dishes - veggie and meat - a wide selection of sides and nice breads and rices. All cooked fresh and you a high standard. First class.

We came on Sunday for the buffet and the quality of food was above our expectations for a reasonable price. We tried the Indian wine as well an it was great. I highly recommend this restaurant if you happen to be in Vevey!

Restaurant to avoid is not a real Indian restaurant we ordered tandoori chicken we received chicken breast tranper in I don't know what but nothing to do with the real tandoori so the chicken curry again chicken breast of very poor quality very hard to chew throw in sauce but it's not curry don't say it's not true I ordered from you attached the photos we called him didn't want to know anything don't do not calling it an Indian restaurant puts Indian cuisine to shame, there are excellent Indian restaurants in and around Lausanne. Just to run away.

Je suis venue le 31/05/2021 et c’était parfait. J’ai même pas pu finir mon plat, pourtant je ne suis pas une petite mangeuse. Mes enfants et mon mari se sont régalés. Merci pour l’accueil, simple et modeste. Merci pour les petits verres avec pailles et glaçons c’est la première fois qu’on a servi mes enfants comme des grands j’ai vraiment aimé l’attention et eux aussi. Je reviendrai.

The people were rude and did not serve properly. They can not handle guests well. We made a personal request and did not receive full information and when asked if they could cancel the order the person got mad and spoke very rudely.
