Amazing food and more than amazing service. Owner Abid Bhatti is extremely generous and inviting. Highly recommend the kabab platter, butter chicken and kadai chicken.

Coming from Yorkshire we no a good curry house when we see one and I have to say this is the best curry Iv ever tasted. Such great flavours and the hospitality is warm and on point. I’d come back to Switzerland just for the curry! Thank you for a great meal and a warm welcome and for looking after my wife and I.

Our favourite Indian restaurant - we moved out of the Netherlands, so we can't go there anymore - we miss it there so much!!

It's one of the best Indians we've tried in the region. We had the lentil soup, the butter chicken and the tikka masala, all the dishes were excellent! The quality of the food more than justifies the somewhat high prices. Only downside: the service was a little slow, not ideal if you are in a hurry!

What a lovely surprise! We were in Vevey on our way home from the mountains and happened upon this brilliant Indian restaurant. Honestly it was the best Chicken Tikka Masala I have ever had and I've had hundreds!! The rice portions were also extremely generous! The service was so friendly too! We will certainly be back!!

Difficult to find authentic indian in Geneva, and “swagat” is highly recommended. We had chicken tandoori and samosa in snacks and tikka masala, chola in main course. Bread size is slightly big so order accordingly. All items were very well cooked and had tasted amazing!

We were traveling with my in laws, hence always on the lookout for Indian restaurants. Finding this was a pleasant surprise. Having lived in Vevey, years ago there weren't any options. And now found 3 itself in Vevey. We did have to wait a bit for the food to arrive. But overall satisfied. Thanks

Amazing vegetarian Indian food. The palak paneer and veggie biryani were top-notch. The biryani blew my mind and I’m not even a biryani person. The service was great. We didn’t have a reservation and dropped by during a recent trip to Vevey. Since went a little before peak hours, they made arrangements to accommodate us (I’m so glad they did). Everything was served with a smile. Highly recommend if you are visiting the area :)

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant due to the poor quality of both the food and the service. The staff was rude and uninterested in providing a positive dining experience, and the food was mediocre at best. I regret spending my time and money at this establishment and recommend finding a different restaurant with better food and more attentive staff.

The owner is mean and pathetic. He doesn't know how to treat his guests. Had to wait for 1.5 hours for food and upon requesting for the food they said you are not alone in the restaurant, go and sit on your seat. We didn't get our complete order. Not recommended to anyone.

Blessing to find a good restaurant serving desi delicacies.. price is a bit on the higher side, but the tasty food makes up for all that. Parking can be a problem... there is parking available at the promenades which is 5 to 7 min walk from the restaurant. All in all.. this is definitely a must try if you around Vevey or Montreux.

Going by its name Swagat is an extremely welcoming place, along with the owner Mr. Abid and other staff as well. A fine dine restaurant serving the best Indian food in and around Vevey and Montreaux region that will not let you miss the authentic Indian taste at all. The owner was kind enough to cook a small portion of chicken with his compliments. It was a pleasure being here and we had an amazing experience with delectable food and soothing ambience. Highly recommend this place!!

Ordered via eat.ch Delivery took 2 hours. Food was very expensive. Naan costs 4.- extra. However, not everything ordered was delivered. We had to call 3 times again until the forgotten naan bread was delivered. The food was already cold by then. Too expensive for 35.00 per serving

Frankly speaking, it is a very excellent restaurant and I recommend it. The beauty of it is common. The food is delicious and the service is excellent and helpful. I came to them at a time when they were supposed to be drunk, but despite that, they did not want to respond and they opened the restaurant and extended their working hours for me and my family. There are few restaurants that satisfy themselves.
