Kaufleuten in Zürich

The club itself is great, the DJs who come are great. Unfortunately, the drinks are overpriced and the club was so crowded when James Hype performed that it wasn't any fun to enjoy the night.

We had a great evening. A lovely Dinner in the restaurant and then a super concert with "Baschi".

Literally the worst club, don’t even waste your money on a lounge, you won’t get any privacy either way because the security are so bad and said that they couldn’t do anything about the fact that random people were crashing our evening.

Had a great evening, enjoyed Bastian Bielendorfer's show.

Top location, always well attended (make a reservation). A bit noisy at lunchtime and evening. Food very good quality. Prices as usual in Zurich.

Had lunch yesterday. As always, very good lately, although the white wine cream sauce for the minced veal was a little on the watery side. But easy.

I was very happy with everything. The food until dessert was excellent. The support before the concert with delivery of tickets and allocation of seats was very pleasant and courteous.

The food was very tasty and also very nicely prepared. The atmosphere is cozy!

A beautiful restaurant with great music in the background, the food was absolutely amazing, I had Nüssli salad with bacon and eggs then torteloni filled with ricotta and spinach with sage butter, my son had the beef fillet with fries. The prices are normal for Zurich standards and absolutely justified. My son's meat was tender and cooked to perfection. I would love to eat there again at any time.

Food and service very great, if you eat at Kaufleuten you won't go wrong. This time we weren't greeted quite as warmly (by a rather young employee), but everything else was great. We will be back!

Can be uncomfortably loud in the dining room at peak times.

A bit loud, but interesting crowd!

Tickets won for Salvodor Sobral on February 4th. You don't get the tickets directly by email, you have to confirm your win and then request the tickets by email. You have to click through! After entering 2 tickets (yes, you also enter how many tickets you have won, even though it is already defined?!?!) the link no longer worked. Re-entered the whole game. Suddenly I could only enter 1 ticket. Played the same game 3 times. Then I read on the email with the winning notification that I had won ONE ticket. Hmmm.... Where do you win ONE ticket?? So do I have to go there alone? Basically I don't have any trouble with it, but where do you win ONE ticket?? I wanted to ask if that was actually the case and ask for my ticket, since, as mentioned, downloading the ticket didn't work. We've sent emails twice and haven't heard anything yet. Called several times, but Kaufleuten Kultur could not be reached by phone. Weird institution. Fact: I couldn't use the ticket I won. We may have cool events, but the service is terrible. wasn't there at all for me.

Pleasant bistro atmosphere. Food good, selection with a fixed menu before the occasion, too little selection of starters. Service first i. O. Not particularly helpful, it had to be done quickly.

Am a regular guest. It's a pleasantly agitated restaurant. I usually eat veal liver with hash browns, which are always excellent. But there are also a lot of other things that are also very good, which I have found through occasional testing

CHF 16.00?!?! for a bottle of WATER without!? hahaha. We also had a lounge! The waiter's statement: unfortunately we are out of Hannenwasser.. that's why we have the CHF 16.00 WATER BOTTLE.. SAD.

The atmosphere, decoration, and location is great. However, the food quality was a disappointment for me for such high prices. We were at KARSU`s Concert, maybe this is why they gave standard menu with a mid-level quality but still they shouldn`t do it.

The concerts in the Kaufleuten Saal are always a pleasure.

Good veal meatloaf. Service quite okay. The restaurant and the club needed renovation.

A good restaurant in itself, but I can't recommend it for a larger group because the management doesn't have the processes under control. If you agree in advance how many participants will be there and this is confirmed to me, I also expect that this will work and not that two too many dishes are served and then the service staff simply claims that we ordered them. What's very unpleasant is that management doesn't think it's necessary to respond at least briefly to the note I sent via email. It's a shame, an answer with "Thanks for the feedback, which we would be happy to take on board" would have been enough.

Bought tickets for the "Sido Concert", at 1:15 a.m. there was no German musician on stage... Paid 40 francs, not received a cent back. Communication is missing!

I wasn't 100% convinced of my choice when I made the reservation, but I was 200% convinced after my lunch. It was great! Great staff, great kitchen performance, good wines and brilliant guests. We would love to come back to Kaufleuten...

Merchanting is an institution. But when you, as a large birthday group, can no longer order dessert at 10:30 p.m. (the pastry chef is already home.??) and you can't get any drinks (the bar is overloaded) - you start to wonder what's going wrong. That's it for us - next birth somewhere else

Price and performance are great and the food was good. Despite the restaurant being full, the service was prompt and the staff really work as a team. We will be back.

I really dreamed of getting to see DJ Jameshype and I was glad to be present and see his performance in your club! I came alone and found friends! The youth are easy-going, but they behave disrespectfully towards the establishment - they throw bottles on the floor. Many people complain about the security, but I will also say that you need to be tough with young people because you sit on your head. Minors are not allowed in and rightly so! In general, I received a lot of positive emotions, I danced at 35 like I did at 18! Thank you for inviting world stars!

The Kaufleuten Restaurant is my absolute favorite restaurant. The atmosphere is always great. The service is always courteous and attentive. The menu offers culinary delights and the quality of the dishes is outstanding. An all-round successful experience that I can fully recommend!

Always great! And after more than 30 years, it's still one of our favorite restaurants in Zurich. Although our average age was higher :-) - we felt very comfortable. Not suitable for poor hearing or cheapskates. When full, quite loud and overflowing with extra tables and supported by the high ceilings. Prices are borderline, but understandable for this class of restaurant. Our food was AAA! Good luck and see you soon, for us during the week…. ;-).

The purchase is the purchase and if it doesn't suit you or is too expensive you don't have to go there, Miri and Dimi and the whole team are really nice, I would like to be served and cooked for in the same way in other restaurants :-)

Recently I was at the Kadebostany concert and often spontaneously at the Kaufleuten Klub in the restaurant or at other events. Every time it was a nice experience. The people, the atmosphere, the bar, the hall with the "theater ambience"... all of this exists in a perfect symbiosis. One of the best cultural venues in Zurich!

Cult restaurant and favorite brasserie. Outdoors in summer, indoors in winter, always popular. The classic is particularly recommended: Wienerschnitzel with cucumber salad!

3 Stars because I only drank. Cannot speak for their food yet. I will Update the stars asap because the with the Drinks so good, the Food must be a pleasure. The service and ambience was top class.

As always, the ambience and food was great. Unfortunately, the service was not what we are used to and what we can expect. She came quickly But start after serving She wasn't interested in eating anymore and we had to wait half an hour until we paid. This was only because I GOT UP and spoke to her. Even then she had to re-cover 3 tables and only then did she come!! I really hope that this never happens again, I always liked being there, but not like this!

The bouncers were very unsympathetic right from the start, then I was thrown out for no good reason and they even wanted to start a fight. Very “hostile” not recommended. Even the tickets had already been purchased.

Ideal for cultural events and very well located.
