One of my favourite spots to go for authentic Mexican tacos! Super delicious and very nice staff. Also, they have a waiter robot which is pretty cool my son loved it.

I come here as often as I can! I've been coming to kings tacos for at least 8 years now and although the menu has changed the quality never has. The service is impeccable and the owner is so charming!

Food is amazingly delicious. I highly recommend it. They had a cool robot server who brought our meals to us piping hot. Great idea. Tables are bizarrely sparse and far apart which I really enjoy but I worry they are losing money from that. .

Stopped by for a bite while on break at work, and let me say they did NOT disappoint. The nachos were so good! I was served by Javier. He was very pleasant. Very kind and inviting. I felt like family. LOL. The atmospehere is warm and welcoming! They also don't take forever to get your order out to you! Everything was fresh and hot. Real authentic experience and so worth it! King's tacos has amazing reviews for a reason. I highly recommend! And this is coming from a person who doesn't really like nachos like that, but wanted to try something new!! They have a returning customer!!!!!

Love this place! It's a family run Mexican restaurant with great service and food. We get the kings taco special and cheese. They offer free fresh nanchos and dip with your food. Spacious, clean and my kid likes to practice his Spanish here.

The place is large and has space for a whole family. The staff is very, very friendly. As for the food, it could improve. I ordered a carnitas burrito and it was very salty. Along with a horchata water that was very, very sweet and every time I drank it it felt powdery. Not well dissolved. Maybe it was just my personal experience and other dishes are better.

Staff was so friendly and welcoming! I was recommended the veggie enchiladas and they were amazing! Definitely my new pregnancy craving. :)

Very nice ambience, respectful server. There was a nice robot cat server that sang “Happy Birthday” to a fellow baby diner and his family. It was a great experience.

Been coming here on and off for years. the food is great super tasty love the sauces that come with the meal. Some things are pretty pricey though(Guac, Papa Especiale). the Kings special which is what I usually get is not a bad value. you get 5 tortillas you can make 5 nice tacos for the price its about 6 dollars per taco. I know business is expensive but it can be pretty empty in there and Toronto is getting tons of options for Mexican cuisine. I hope there are some considerations made to remain competitive. You have an excellent business with really fantastic tasty food wishing you all the best I know I will be back.

Food was good, pricing was slightly overpriced in my opinion. Service was great though and was very kind and helpful with our group.

The tacos were very delicious, although the sauces did disappoint me, since as a Mexican, I expected at least one to be spicy, but no. Still the food was good.

I love this place. I've tried many things there but never disappointed. Tortilla chips with 3 different hot sauces are always plus.

My experience at kings tacos was ok when I walked in the place it was dead no atmosphere we were the only ones in there They don't serve liquor which goes hand in hand with the tacos I had the Carne asada the meat was unfavourful looked more like stuck together ground beef and the shells were rubbery the only highlight was the robot would not go back.

Went here and wasn't impressed. Servers made 2 mistakes with our orders. Not a huge deal, we still got our food in a good time. But I felt the proteins like the chicken and beef were very dry. For a $25 plate of tacos I wasn't super impressed. It came with some chips and dips as an appetizer which was tasty.

Very disappointed with the quality and quantity of food for the cost. Lack of effort in presenting tacos, under filled. The robot server is ridiculous. Waste of money

I’ve had carnitas, asada and pastor here. As an actual Mexican living in Toronto I’ve been trying all the Mexican restaurants around Toronto to find my go to Authentic Mexican restaurant. King’s tacos does not disappoint. Asada and pastor are solid choices but I wouldn’t say they are Toronto’s best. Carnitas on the other hand, perfect. So tender, juicy and full of flavor. Hands down the best carnitas I’ve had in Toronto.

After you were seated, they will give you a complimentary homemade tortilla chips, 3 types of salsa, fresh cilantro and limes. The salsas can be used both as a chip dip and taco toppings. But even with all these free salsas, you have to order their guacamole as it's one of the best we've tried. Fresh and authentic, King's Tacos' guac is the real deal - creamy, chunky and with just the right amount of traditional Mexican flavours and spices. Now comes the fun part, deciding on what to get for your tacos. With over 16 choices, we always opt for their Special Tacos. Our faves include Ya vas, Kings Special and Sirloin Deluxe. With flavourful meat, veggies, cheese and authentic homemade corn tortillas, these hand held meals are truly one addictive culinary marvel. I can eat here everyday! The burritos and quesadillas are out of this world. The Quesadilla de Pollo is loaded with cheese and seasoned chicken breast. The Beef Burrito is warm and comforting and they don't skimp on the meat filling. It was flavourful and delicious! And to wash all the goodness down, make sure to get a nice cool bottle of Jarritos soda. I love the Pineapple Jarritos, not too sweet and has a slightly tangy pineapple flavour. The service we received especially from Javier, the owner and his staff were simply amazing. They made you feel welcomed and they're always efficient and polite. Can't wait to return and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food.

Great service, but food not as authentic as other restaurants in the area of St. Clair West. Good for those who like food that is good for a sensitive stomach, but not for those looking for an authentic experience.

One of my favourite spots to take people to! Be it friends or family, or just want to please a crowd with a restaurant, this is my go-to on St.Clair. The restaurant is nice, clean, and the staff are really attentive and timely. The location does struggle in terms of parking as it is on St.Clair so I recommend parking in a side street and making the walk down. Have visited multiples times, but in my most recent visit, my friends and I ordered the Guacamole , Quesadilla De Pollo, Bistec Encebollado, and Tacos de Carne Asada. The Guacamole in my opinion is a must order, especially for parties but also on dates. I’ve had colleagues that I have brought here explicitly mention how that Guac was the best they’ve had. The Quesadilla surprised us on this visit, as it was the best thing out of the main entrees we ordered. Personally I believe this restaurant does do Pork and Chicken based dishes better than their beef, as I feel that their King’s Special is their best dish in regards to the Special tacos. Nonetheless, all of the meat is well prepared and seasoned, but I just ranked the pork and chicken options higher. All orders are accompanied by three choices of salsa and chips, and the salsa alone places this place above other Mexican restaurants in the GTA. If you’re looking for one of the best taco spots in the city, go here. If you think Gus Taco’s is good, this place will take you to another level.

Came here on a Thursday night at 8:05pm when they close at 9pm. Door was locked and the worker inside looked up and then down to avoid us. Pretty poor first impression when there’s still an hour left till closing. I’m sure the food is okay, but what a garbage employee, the place looked dead with just a couple people eating. And wouldn’t doubt if this place drives themselves out of business. Made my way to Taco Moras, place was busy & bumping and great tasting food and really well priced. Ps: employees and Tacos Moras were really nice and friendly

Best tacos in the city. We go out of our way to dine here. Dine in for complimentary chips and salsas. Best salsas ever. Wish they’d bring back the lengua tacos which they haven’t had since pre-Covid, but I understand. Still the best. Generous portions especially for the gringa quesadilla.

We came to King's Taco on a Friday night, and the restaurant became full later in the evening. We ordered carnitas (4 tacos) and the King's Special (5 tacos) for the two of us. We liked how fast the service was and how the food tasted. The carnitas tasted slightly sweet and smokey, and the King's Taco was a meat lover's delight. Accessibility: there is a small ramp to get into the restaurant, and there is no automatic door opener; the washroom is downstairs. The walkway is wide for the robot to maneuver, and the floors are slipper for crutches. Staff did offer to allow usage of the employee washroom on the same floor if needed - which was greatly appreciated!

I've been coming to King's for many years, even though we live far from it. It is simply the best place for tacos and nachos in the entire area. Restaurant is extremely spacious and accessible. The owner is one of the kindest and personable people ever - he remembers how we like our orders every time. Great service and great food.

The meat of the tacos is very soft, good flavor. Tortilla soup needs more consistency in the broth. The tortilla chips, if served less hard, would be excellent! Very good service, the attention of the young waiter is friendly and accurate.

My husband and I have been going to different taco places every week, and this is one of the best if not the best! Reminds us of the tacos in Mexico. Service was friendly. As we were leaving, a homeless man came in and asked to have the leftovers from a finished table. The owner / manager handed him a menu instead. Amazing people!

Finding a Mexican restaurant with delicious and loaded Vegetarian food can be a challenge in this neighborhood. However, this one not only serves great food but also provides exceptional service. The quantity is good and the flavors are great. Have visited this place a bunch of times and have had a few friends order and try out their non-vegetarian options too! It might not be the best at aesthetics but the food here and the familiar unintimidating vibe will make this a comfort place for great food and friendly faces. P.S. Their cute Robot server is just a cherry on the cake!

I love King Tacos, but I think is better when you eat there, my order today was the same taste an flavour but the amount on the two order of tacos al pastor were less meat. The gringas were the same, but always delicious.

We found this gem just before leaving the neighbourhood in 2014. Finally had a chance to go back 8 years later and while the location has changed a little, the quality, commitment to service and flavour hasn’t changed a bit. There may be more innovative places for tacos in the city, but this place is a time tested classic that serves authentic home style Mexican dishes done right. Hopefully it won’t be another 8 years before we go back.

The best tacos in the city hands down. Not your typical Toronto two bite taco spot. Very friendly and attentive staff. They give your table a bowl of flour tortilla chips that are fried in house along with 3 different salsas, an onion and cilantro mix, and limes; all of which can be used to dress your tacos. The queso fondido with beef (comes with tortillas) is on a whole different level from what your typical taco place. No filler just straight up meat and cheesea

Good portions according price. The servers are very polite. My suggestion is check first your cutleries, cups before start to don't get any disgusting surprise.

We came here for dinner on a Saturday. The place was busy, but the service was attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our food very much as everything was delicious. The portions are generous, so sharing is a good option. We had the enchilada (with green sauce) and the taco with steak filet. We also shared a delicious rice milk drink. It was very enjoyable. We will be back!
