Why don't we go to the cinema anymore? It's better than streaming series until you stop watching. You do something that has great sound and picture quality, helps secure jobs, etc...

The cinema is still great. But unfortunately the new concept with the schnitzel restaurant is not. Unfortunately, the whole charm that the cinema had was ruined as a result. They aren't exactly the friendliest in the restaurant either. It's a shame...I don't think this concept can be successful. But we will see. What's absolutely annoying...the endless advertising in front of the film! 25 min minimum. And you wonder why people don't want to go to the cinema anymore! It's better to wait 3 months, buy the film on YouTube and watch it without advertising . Advertising is one of the main reasons why we hardly go to the cinema anymore! We used to be regulars

Be sure to order the Cinemember card. Particularly worthwhile for regular visitors to the cinema. In addition, it is a very modern and cozy cinema. The sanitary facilities are always clean and well maintained. Personally, I visit the cinema regularly as I find the place very pleasant.

Of the cinemas in the Bern region, this is by far the best choice. Nice atmosphere, bar, snack service (no self-service) and breaks. There could just be a few more films in the original sound :)

The cinema is way too expensive, I won't pay £6 for an ice cream. Ticket prices are also way too expensive. We weren't even allowed to bring our own snacks, not everyone has the money to pay 5 or 6 for a snack. I won't go to the cinema anymore.

Great cinema near me! The seats are very comfortable. I also like that there is a break during the film. This way you can equip yourself with new snacks :) You won't get bored while you're waiting for the film to start!

Just love this cinema! Popcorn and nachos with cheese sip are unbeatably good here! The atmosphere - the decor!! There are also always “special events”! Simply great and not a run-of-the-mill cinema!

In itself a really great cinema with always friendly staff, an appealing ambience and a high level of technology (Dolby Atmos). In my opinion there are only two points to complain about: 1) The restaurant - if you can still call it that - is only a shadow of what it once was. There is only bland tarte flambée, so I clearly prefer to eat in a real restaurant before I go to a film screening. Just let it go with the food... It would be nice if you switched back to the original concept as soon as the staff shortage is over. 2) The sometimes extremely unpleasant temperature in the cinema hall is also disturbing; from the second half of the performance onwards it can become scorching hot in the hall, even in winter. During the Avatar II performance in December, Hall 3 felt like a huge, steamy sauna. The other guests also felt the same way, unfortunately it was almost impossible to enjoy the end of the film under these circumstances, which is a shame for such a great film... In my opinion, it would be urgently necessary to equip the halls with a correspondingly powerful ventilation system, otherwise you won't have to be surprised when visitors suddenly sit in the hall wearing swimming trunks and bikinis.

I can understand that cinema is expensive. But then a whole 30 minutes of advertising...? And why do the subtitles take up a full third of the screen? And I'm not yet thirty, since when are cinemas so loud?

I can ignore the exorbitant ticket and food prices, after all, it's like that everywhere in the cinema.... But it's a huge cheek to show 25 minutes of advertising before the film..... Not trailers for new films, no! 5x the same McDonald's commercial... When the film finally started, half the room applauded...

Kino Rex, the golden years, is a great film. It could make a positive difference in a monotonous/domineering marriage. As far as the food is concerned, the catering industry can't just cook on the fly. Those times are definitely over. The current time, we reserve a table everywhere, check the weather and then don't go without a cancellation. Cooked food is + must be thrown away. One from the restaurant. perspective

What a disappointment in the bistro. You used to be able to eat something nice before the 6 p.m. film. Today only 4 different tarte flambées and self-service. There aren't even any sandwiches in there. What are three people behind the counter doing? Then it's better to close it straight away and expand the kiosk outside. What a pity. But other restaurants will benefit and be happy.

Unfortunately, as of today, the great restaurant is only self-service. The great Rex Burger is no longer available either. Such a shame. Today the Rex has lost three of its otherwise well-deserved stars. Now the only good thing is the super staff. If that is replaced or changed, it will definitely just be a boring cinema. I went there often and was a big fan! Many thanks again to the great employees.

Nice cinema and the cine dinner is a different experience, we really liked it, the dessert was a bit small 😉 You can also have a good meal in the restaurant before the film.

This cinema offers many diverse options! It was great fun to enjoy your favorite film in the rented hall with personally invited guests. Great ambience, nice staff, you can eat or have a drink in the integrated restaurant, and you can also buy sweet/salty snacks at the “cinema kiosk”.

Was at a film screening again after a long time. In the Rex, the cinemas and the rest are modern and clean. The film started with 25 minutes of advertising! Now I realize again why I don't like going to the cinema...

The new Bond film on October 20th, 2021 was great, the hall was wonderful. My family was thrilled!! Despite a few disagreements, which were resolved immediately, it was a lovely evening and we would be happy to come back. Thank you very much for your effort.

My partner and I only went for a drink in the bar as we were wandering around Thun, but they were really good and big.
