Very fine food, friendly staff and great ambience. It's great for grabbing something nice to eat before the cinema. Be sure to reserve on the weekend!

We wanted to eat there on Saturday evening. At 6:50 p.m. we sat down, ordered drinks and 10 minutes later also ordered food. We ended up waiting 1 hour 15 minutes for the waitress to come to us at 8:15 p.m. to say that they didn't have enough cooks and could we wait another 15-20 minutes. This was not possible as our film started at 8:30 p.m. We refused and left indignant. The boldest thing was that one of the two drinks had to be paid for. No more coal fumes.

Excellent spare ribs (juicy and tender), you didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive and the service was very accommodating.

Very good restaurant with delicious food. Very nice staff. Even if you don't go to the cinema, it's worth a visit. If the cinema is busy, it may take a little more time before you can leave full again.

Factory hall charm Ordered 4 burgers. The first came after 10 minutes, the last, after 2 complaints, after an hour. That was the last time for me. The girls in service tried their best, but unfortunately they were obviously understaffed

I ordered my food here and the fries looked like mashed potatoes! The onion rings were sticky and tasteless. The burger was ice cold and dry! The delivery bag and the packaging looked like someone had sat on it. That's why the delivery person was so quick to deliver (stretched towards you and turned around without hello and goodbye)

The food was and is always top notch. We like to go there, even if we don't watch a film. We can't complain about the service either, as someone always came straight to us. Friendly, open-minded and helpful. We definitely recommend it.

I've been there twice and unfortunately had to leave both times without even ordering. I don't want to have to wait 15 minutes or longer for service in an empty restaurant

The atmosphere is cozy but has been the same for years. However, the menu has changed. The selection of vegetarian/vegan dishes has become significantly larger. The food is served quickly. The menus could be a little larger. That would also fill the last star. We were served by an extremely friendly, courteous and humorous young woman. It was a lot of fun. We'd love to come back.

I had the pleasure of visiting the fine hamburger restaurant and I can safely say that it is a true paradise for burger lovers! From start to finish my experience was absolutely fantastic. Service: The service was excellent. The staff was super friendly, attentive and always willing to answer my questions and make recommendations. I really felt like a valued guest. Ambiance: The restaurant has a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The rustic furnishings and atmospheric lighting create an inviting environment in which you immediately feel at home.

On Sunday I went to the cinema with my girlfriend and had something to eat at Kohldampf. The food was amazing, very large portions, so I think the prices are reasonable. Our server, Alissa, was very accommodating. The service was TOP. We will be back!!

Eat something before the film. Many people probably think that. Personally, I think the restaurant is quite expensive for what you get. I ate a BBQ bacon burger. The meat was like the sole of a shoe and so I didn't really like it. The potato wedges were good for that. In the future, I'll probably go to another restaurant before the cinema...

As always, a good experience. It was quite full, but Alissa served us very well. There were understandably waiting times. In general, the staff is perceived as very friendly and the food is also great. The Kohldampf's Burger is worth it for meat lovers, and the chocolate cake with a liquid center is always highly recommended as a dessert. Thumbs up and mouth open. It is advisable to go out to eat after going to the cinema or even watch the film without watching it.

Very good food and the service was also top. Very accommodating even when the place was pretty full. I therefore recommend eating there after the film and planning enough time We'd love to come back.

We had reservations for 7:30 p.m. When we got there on time, we were told our table had just been taken?! Afterwards we were seated at a random table that hadn't even been cleared away. Among other things, we ordered a cordon bleu with fries twice, and the waitress told us that this would definitely take 30 minutes and that this waiting time was normal. After half an hour the first plate of cheese spaetzle arrived. These were completely cold. After 10 minutes the remaining dishes arrived. The burger was somewhat ok. However, the bread was rubbery. As a side dish there were fries, for which you paid extra, but the whole basket wasn't even filled. The ambience is quite ok. However, hardly any table around us was cleared and some of the dishes were still there when we left. Overall very disappointing and not recommended.

Were there last night to have something to eat before the cinema. We waited almost 45 minutes for 2 burgers and käshörnle! First the Käshörnle came without any side dishes ordered. 10 minutes later the 2 burgers came. My burger was lukewarm, the bread was rubbery and the base was burnt. We were definitely not happy.

Great host... Great atmosphere perfect for dinner before going to the cinema. Must try: garlic soup and chicken wings!

Last night we had something to eat at Kohldampf before going to the cinema. After the seating was allocated, 25 minutes passed before I went to the waiter to ask if we could still place the order. He then apologized very professionally and promised us that the drinks would be on the house. It took another 30 minutes for the food to arrive. We still had 5 minutes left. Here we are talking more about devouring things quickly rather than enjoying the food. But you have to say that the food was very good and there was no reason to complain (except that you could perhaps use potato seasoning for the fries). Between placing the order and eating, we already ordered the bill because we couldn't wait another 25 minutes. And unfortunately we were charged for the drinks. For this reason there is only one star for the service, as it blew our socks off with a 0.0 rating. It's a shame actually...

I actually have to revise the rating from back then after the second visit. We had an hour to communicate like from the beginning. The staff also assured us that we would get everything on time. The beer was brought to us after 35 minutes of waiting because we forgot to type it. That can happen sometimes, but then you apologize. The food was brought to us after 50 minutes and 5 times of asking. It cost 64 fr for 2 (finger food platter) see for yourself what you get for it. It doesn't get 80% cheaper and mini grand pianos. I've actually never gotten so little for so much money. No, sorry, I don't want to eat with you anymore and not because it doesn't taste good, but because the price performance and customer service were really very poor this time. We'd love to come back for a drink. The house beer is great Old entry I rate the ambience and the really good service as good. The house beer is also very good. I had the salad bouquet with beef. For almost 30 francs you can get a few leaves of green lettuce. Hidden underneath are undeclared beetroot, corn, cucumber and carrot salad. Drown in salad dressing. Mine wasn't, at least there was bread included in the price...

Today the 5th ate at Kohldampf again. We got a seat quickly and were able to order quickly. We looked at the map ourselves using the QR code from the placemat. Food came quickly, everything arrived correctly. As a surprise, we received a bottle of champagne from the boss. Everyone enjoyed the food and we didn't have to wait long to pay. Long waiting times when ordering and paying had to follow the conditions. If you want to watch a film afterwards, a bit annoying...

Top service, Jana does a wonderful job. Friendly, attentive, fast… Cocktails were very tasty and generally a great place to have a drink before the film or to end the evening afterwards.
