I saw the open Kitchen trough the window and it invited me in... Didn't regret the decision. I just ate probably one of the best pasta plates ever served to me! This kid behind the counter is a wizard... Tagliatelle with mushrooms and scampi... A dream! I'm here for 2 nights only but I guess I am eating here tomorrow again!

I had my Christmas dinner with my business there. The starter as well as the main course were delicious. An antipasta plate and the nut salad with burata. For the main course I had shrimp with spaghetti in a garlic oil sause. The service employee was very courteous and personable. The restaurant is small and very cozy. I can recommend it to everyone who loves Italian cuisine.

Unfortunately the food was absolutely not good. The spaghetti was completely cooked through and I don't want to start with the meat. The conditions were a disaster. Extremely rude, neither of us can speak Italian and no one was even remotely willing to explain the Italian menu to us. The house wine was probably one of the worst wines we were able to taste. We were drawn in by the good reviews, which we cannot share. Service definitely doesn't work that way, especially not in Switzerland. If you want to spend a lot of money on poor quality, this is the place for you. Both me and my husband felt sick after eating. We are more than disappointed!

We walked around the old town and decided to have coffee and desserts. I really liked the lemon pie. Serving tiramisu is specific and not for everyone.

Excellent penne, friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. We felt like we were on vacation. The cola can wasn't so appropriate. Please switch to bottles.

I have never experienced such a managing director who provides such poor service. Outrageous. Asked for a spoon because the spaghetti with the mussels had a liquid sauce. The host then stuck the spoon in the front of my plate, so cheeky and in a bad mood that the spaghetti almost got stuck in my throat. You don't do that and it doesn't belong in the service. The food was fantastic, but the pat answers were impossible.

It was only one opened place on 2nd Jan :) majority of other places were fully closed however on the maps were marked like opened. Their interior looks charming, take a look at all their 3 floors. All dishes we ordered were great: fresh, tasty and well designed. Their waitress lady was so friendly and nice. Maybe they have a WiFi but we didn’t try. No parking.

We were hungry and wanted to try some spaghetti and happened to pass by this cafe. We made the right decision to come in . Ordered the Mussels and Bolognese , no regrets , both tasted good ...Now we know where to find good spaghetti in St Gallen ..!

We arrived by chance ( saturday, 17.00 h ) and there were several tables free. The service was excellent and the food extraordinary. You can see the bill in the attached picture. Normal prices for a nice restaurant in the old town of a city like St Gallen

After another while, I get up and go to the young lady and tell her that I would like to order. I was finally allowed to do this, but unfortunately she didn't listen in concert, at least not everything I ordered came. Well, it probably wasn't our day in this café.

Very affordable pizzeria in St.Gallen. We had nice service and sat outside on a sunny evening. Great pizza still, good to eat out even for students.

Immediately upon arrival, the staff seemed to be on edge. The food was actually delicious until my friend found a stone present in her salad, which she subsequently spilt out. I suspect that it originated from the mushroom. Many sellers put stones in their mushrooms so that they can sell them for a higher price, meaning the kitchen did not properly clean out the vegetables before serving them to their clients. The request for another dish was immediately met with a negative reaction and the staff could be heard making joking remarks about it in the kitchen. They ignored us for the remainder of the meal, regardless of how many times we called them to our table, until we finally requested a check. The food is of good quality, which is why I hope the restaurant takes such criticism seriously, since this is not the only negative review that complains about rude staff. There is tremendous potential in this restaurant. However, rude staff can prove to be a detractor.

Great restaurant with an individual concept! Great food throughout, great and attentive service and a rustic atmosphere. Bruschetta and tiramisu were not only extremely tasty but also very creatively presented. All in all, just the right place to end a visit to picturesque St. Gallen. Absolute recommendation.

Seven of us spontaneously went to this restaurant on a Saturday evening. We were greeted in a friendly and helpful manner and immediately shown to a separate table in the wine cellar. The attentive, personable and quick-witted waiter served us wonderful, authentic Italian food and wine. A fantastic evening in a great establishment. Highly recommended!

After a long Corona break, you should actually expect happy and friendly service, but that was out of place here. It's a real shame, as we were really looking forward to eating at La Follia again. Unfortunately, this will be my last visit, as annoyed service for expensive food simply isn't necessary.
