I've been to this pastry shop a few times and I'm always disappointed. The staff stands listlessly behind the counter and the various rolls (lye, Weggli, etc.) were always dry. Not worth it for the price.

Bakery with seating to visit. The presentation of the baked goods was attractive and my Berliner tasted delicious. The coffee was hot and fresh, and the service was friendly and accommodating. To be honest, I can't understand the negative comments. I had a pleasant experience and will happily come back.

You cannot complain about the quality of the products. But the service (from the German lady) is a disaster. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted in an unsympathetic way with a look that says you're not wanted. Afterwards you weren't served at the tables, you repeated your wishes several times and at the end you had to pick yourself up. Although people consumed on site and we always used to be served. Conclusion The company would do well to move this lady to the bakery rather than to the customers. Lesson, we will never go back to this Hotz to eat coffee and cake or do anything else shopping.

The lady (of German origin, with short hair) is very unfriendly. She snatched the money out of my hand. I was very relieved that she didn't throw the change at me as unfriendly as she was.

Ok as a baker. Price/performance is not right at all. Unfortunately we don't have any major alternatives nearby. Went there briefly today to pick up Weggen for the office on August 1st. For simple braids with a flag CHF 3.30??? The Sprüngli at Paradeplatz is even cheaper!
