What a delightful find! The warm welcome and cheerful service, speaking flawless English, made the experience unforgettable. The menu offered unique, top-quality dishes not commonly found in Zurich, all expertly prepared and utterly delicious.

Our visit to Rest. District 6 was great. The location is very cozy and the food is fresh and very good. What particularly stands out is the great service. Everyone is very accommodating, well-positioned and you can tell that they are passionate about what they do. We will definitely come back.

We were in Zurich on business today and came across “Kreis 6” purely by chance when we were looking for something for dinner. It is very difficult for me to put into words what we were able to experience in this very beautiful, classic and tidy restaurant. The food from the starter to the main course to the dessert and the espresso is simply world class! And I'll say it exactly like that again! World class! The entire service team is absolutely on their toes. It simply couldn't be more professional. Here, every single person, and especially the owner himself, lives the gastronomy in every single second. A huge compliment and a very firm pat on the back for everyone in the kitchen! You do what you put on your plate with 100% passion and love for the product. You can simply taste it on every spoon and every fork. Shops like this are just fun and show that quality, professionalism and dedication to the product and guests still exist in the catering industry. Every single Swiss franc is absolutely justified here and I'm not crying for a single one here tonight! Thank you very much for this evening and I promise that I will advertise you everywhere. I truly enjoyed dinner in Kreis 6. Restaurant is located outside the centre in a friendly neighborhood, in an old villa. Elegant and cozy interiors. Gentleman who served us was very kind and professional, he described the dishes well and encouraging. We enjoyed everything we were eating. The tuna tatar, cordon bleu, soup of the day as well as the fish were delicious. I would definitely come back to this place!

Fine Italian restaurant. Inviting spaciousness of the rooms. Every course is a highlight. Venison was tender and tasty, beef melted in your mouth. Service attentive, friendly and entertaining. We would be happy to come back.

We were in District 6 for the first time today and were thrilled: delicious food & very courteous & friendly service, we'd love to come back!

Unfortunately below expectations. Most of the staff are committed (although not all); especially the Long-time residents. Bread for the starter was already very dried out. Starter (tuna/avocado tartare) very tasty. Also tried: ceviche & pulpo/fennel salad, both very good. Main course good, cordon bleu unfortunately only just lukewarm, spinach very cold. After asking twice, my colleague only received the pasta side dish with the last bite of the meat. The espresso was offered as an apology, but unfortunately there was no real apologetic word. Too many mistakes for the high prices.

A pair of suspenders would probably have helped to save me the sight of the (sun-tanned!) bricklayer's cleavage.

Top food with great service! I have rarely eaten as well as in District 6. Very friendly boss who talks about the specialties with passion! The pulpo-fennel salad was very good and the fish with the black rice (not colored with ink) was a poem! I'll definitely come back here...

Unfortunately, Corona also seems to have demanded culinary sacrifices, because the once ingenious and perfect restaurant “Circle 6” has become a simple neighborhood restaurant. 😥 Even though we made a reservation, our table wasn't ready yet. Instead of fabric tablecloths, layers of paper tablecloths were placed on top of each other, with fabric napkins lying on top of them - it already looked strange and unusual. At the beginning the dogs were given water once, after which it was the guest's responsibility to get it regularly from the toilet. The service person's idea was that we should otherwise take the water from the ice bucket in which our wine was chilled. somehow hospitality works differently... Since our table was wobbling, the servicing staff took turns trying to stabilize the table, which was impossible because it wasn't the table but the table top that was unstable. When we pointed this out, the answer, which seemed somewhat ironic, was that this was normal here in the garden restaurant, as the furniture had been used since the beginning, i.e. around 30 years (as we were told) and it would definitely not be replaced - this was more pleasant for the regular guests to eat... The pulpo salad had no salt or seasoning. The beef spaillard, on the other hand, was oversalted and went back to the kitchen. The once really brilliant Gordon Bleu was served with a run-of-the-mill potato gratin and there was spinach leaves straight from the pure water bath - no salt, no spices, nothing except spinach leaves from the water! The fact that the chef de service explains the current menu and his tip at every table is still great. Why the printed cards are worn out and not up to date seems to be questionable... the stress that the service staff has is absolutely contagious and gives you the feeling of sitting in a fast food place! why always this stress as if you were sitting in a hornet's nest? 😥 For dessert we chose some tip of which we only heard the word meringues, as the rest was rattled off in fast-paced French. Which, by the way, became the running gag at the surrounding tables - chattering French very quickly, just to give you the feeling of being a guest in a very exclusive and unique restaurant! 😂😂😂 You can get the dessert in every high school culinary school. ✌🏾 In the 4th edition of "Tiptopf" (1988) on page 316 you will find the recipe for vanilla ice cream. Simply add some crumbled meringues underneath and sprinkle with dots of syrup 🎉 Unfortunately it also tasted very unprofessional (since the ice crystallized) and was served like in a scout camp - a careless block of ice with dots of syrup. All in all, it's like being in a snack bar around the corner or in a high school cooking class 😥 The plus, however, is that the offered one takes a long time, this is because of the over-salted meat ✌🏾

It was my second time at the restaurant. The quality of the food is very high. The extrimely bad experience was with the wine. We ordered a bottle of Ripasso della Valpolicella and instead we got a very cheap and very low quality of "Vino Riposato" (the price at the supermarket for this wine is 7 chf). When we communicated this, the waitress told us that this was the wine that they have received from the supplier... When we reiceved the bill it was written "vino Valpolicella" 66 chf. After a long complain and our denial to pay 66 chf for a "Vino Riposato" where the waitress also said that it is normal to pay 10 times the price of the supermarket at a restaurant, we agreed to pay 50 chf instead. It was still too much.

There were 3 of us in the garden. Very long waiting times and unfortunately the quality does not match the prices! Wienerschnitzel was ok, tartare was terrible, pasta was overcooked, meat was average! It's a shame, the location had more potential!

Overrated. Prices are not in sync for the food served. I’ve ordered a cordon bleu filled with Brie and prosciutto that took over 40 minutes to be prepared. The waitress told us to to order an entree since the order would take time, but the menu is so short (7 dishes) which made me think it was a scam to order another dish. My wife ordered roasted veal that honestly looked boiled. We go outside dinner a lot, so we can compare each restaurant segmentation properly. Hope this review helps them to improve.

They have everything for a great hospitality. But this is just the starter, because the food is just amazing!! It does not matter what you pick, you'll be sure to wanting to come back to try the dish they had a neighbours table, since it looked amazing too. As you are almost done you order one of the extremely tasty deserts, which are tickling every taste bud you have in your mouth! Awesome, I cannot wait to come back and maybe try the crumble after the stunning tarte tatin (best I have ever had... and my wife is French 😉) enjoy!!

Love this walk, water pouring, mini waterfalls, loots of swimming holes and fun information and last but not least very family friendly with multiple places to BBQ and just sit and observe. My dogs love this walk as well.

We went there for a birthday dinner. First, even after mentioning twice when making the reservation, we asked for a lovely round table to enjoy the beautiful garden. Reason for one less star is because of insufficient Covid measures, birthday dessert plate was not served (maybe I should have reminded the staff…) and the carrots were bit too salty.
