Addendum: Since Café Kreyenbühl switched to a fully automatic coffee machine, I unfortunately no longer like the coffee. For me the most important criterion for what makes a good café business. Although I can completely understand the economic reasons for this purchase, I very much regret this decision. It's a shame... But I wish the Kreyenbühl family continued success and all the best. --- Original post a long time ago: A nicely furnished and, depending on the season, tastefully decorated café with a winter garden and large terrace. The staff is always friendly and attentive; the coffee is a pleasure. So if you visit Muri, you should definitely stop here. The only downer is the rather high parking fee, so a visit can be a real luxury... But you don't treat yourself to anything else 😉.

You can have an extra sausage and they will fill you with joy. Sometimes communication is a bit difficult. You have a large selection when it comes to eating. There is also a small terrace for the sunshine. A little expensive for a bakery, hence only 4 stars. Another word about the boss: I think it's a shame that employees always have to be trained to know everything. Can't you kindly point out to customers that they should read your beautiful information booklet? You didn't make the effort in vain.

The waitress on Sunday wasn't really motivated and was hesitant to provide information about the bakery's products: "I don't bake, I just sell," was her answer to the question about what good things go into Lindenberg bread. Luckily the bread was a lot better than her passion for selling baked goods.

Since the company replaced the conventional piston coffee machine with a new, presumably fully automatic coffee machine, I no longer like the milk coffee. It is watery, stronger and the consistency of the milk foam has nothing in common with the previous version. The restaurant with a winter garden and large outdoor seating area is very attractive and the staff is also very friendly. Unfortunately, for the reason mentioned above, the café is no longer my first choice. A pity...

It's a real shame because the last time I was there was in the afternoon, it was 4 p.m. I had to wait a bit because there wasn't much going on. Then someone came and I ordered 3 things that arrived one after the other about 6 minutes late. Then I had to go to the store to pay because the employees were busy cleaning up. They said we should come in...

One of the best bakeries in Switzerland without a doubt, has the best chocolate croissants, great coffee and the bread selection is huge, many nice special breads like from wood oven or rock oven. The staff is always nice and attentive also !

Very nice bakery that produces great baked goods and sandwiches. We come here often and the food and coffee are always good, but some of the staff are very unfriendly and, in my opinion, prefer to serve their older guests rather than young ones. I think it's a shame and it really puts the image of the whole thing in the wrong light. Hopefully something will change in the future, otherwise there are a bunch of other bakeries in the area that also deliver top quality!

On the open day we had a large bacon plait and mixed aperitif snacks from the bread cake. Everything was excellent and the bacon plait was eaten down to the last crumb. The delivery worked wonderfully, so I will order from Kreyenbühl again for an event. It's nice when you can rely on someone. Thank you to the entire Kreyenbühl team for the always friendly and reliable service.

Unfortunately, it didn't work as well as advertised. It's a shame that our wedding cake was more terrible than it was right!

Sunday brunch is simply brilliant

Centrally located in Muri on the Aarau - Lucerne thoroughfare with plenty of parking spaces. The restaurant does not have too much seating and there is a spacious winter garden outside, as well as some outside seating. We recommend reserving a table, especially on Sunday mornings (brunch time). There is no negative criticism about the quality of what is on offer; the Kreyenbühl bakery and pastry shop enjoys a good reputation far and wide (with a number of awards). The service is very good, there are enough staff working even during busy times. Very friendly and always keeping an eye on the tables to see whether guests' wishes can be met. Conclusion: Great - go there and enjoy.

Actually a great coffee in Muri.... but every time I'm there you wait at least 10 minutes for a service to come.... if you want to order something again you're ignored... I have to get up every time and go to the counter and order something....for the high prices you would actually expect something different.... otherwise good bread....

Operation was absolute horror! We had to wait 15 minutes until someone served us! The service lady walked past us without serving us or another guest! Last time we had to wait 20 minutes until we were served! House summit top and cafe also good.
