We were in the Krone Sihlbrugg for the second time and will come back, guaranteed! The suites are wonderfully furnished (exciting details, positively kitschy, cool features) for a romantic weekend for two :-)) The food a la carte in the restaurant is an absolute dream and the staff is super friendly. The breakfast in the room was brilliant. We can recommend the hotel and the restaurant 100%!

I reserved dates with my husband months in advance and it has already been confirmed. When we asked by email whether everything had been booked as requested, we were told: our reservation had been “lost”. The room had already been given to someone else! We have been there several times and therefore wanted to add a discount that we received by email for another room that you wanted to give us. To our disappointment, as we had reserved the room we wanted months before! They offered us a discount for your faux pas and we agreed because it was impossible for us to find something else at such short notice since we have a child that needs to be looked after during this time. We wanted to add the legacy we had already received in the past. We then received a rude email telling us that we shouldn't come if it didn't suit us and that we couldn't "sneak" a double discount! You don't need guests like us! Krone Sihlbrugg made the mistake and in the end WE as guests were treated disrespectfully! Never again! Absolute impudence 👎🏼!!! 1 star is still too much for this poor service. Thanks for nothing.

Super nice rooms for a successful break

Inconspicuous hotel from the outside with really great themed rooms (private sauna and whirlpool), fine food in the room. Highly recommended!

I reserved a table via the website and did not receive a confirmation (there was none in the spam folder either). To make sure that no table had actually been reserved and before I tried to reserve again via the website, I called the restaurant. That was a mistake! A man answered the phone and was dissatisfied with my call “at lunchtime” right from the start. The page shows the telephone times during lunchtime and from 6:30 p.m. when the restaurant is busy! The man then continued to explain to me, quite annoyed and dissatisfied, that he had to go to the computer and that he was now in the kitchen. But if he doesn't find my reservation, I'll have to book the table again via the site. In general, that was an inappropriate tone and very unpleasant way to deal with customers! I certainly couldn't help it that they have the phone in the kitchen and that their phone times are when they are most stressed. It wasn't my fault that I hadn't received any confirmation! Should I have booked the table twice instead of calling them? After this very unpleasant conversation, I canceled the table reservation. Dinner is supposed to be a relaxing experience and if you're greeted like that on the phone, you unfortunately can't expect a pleasant evening.

Always nice, we have now booked the fourth room with a whirlpool and have never been disappointed.

But unfortunately the disappointment was so great that we cannot recommend this restaurant. Absolute disappointment! We booked an exclusive room. The room was okay, but the constant barking of the dog was horrible. The drinks in the minibar that were part of the pampering program had expired for over 2 months. When we checked out, we kindly pointed out to Mr. Huber that I had consumed the Rivella that had long since expired and therefore had stomach problems. His response was: We could have reported this and he would have replaced it. I then told him that for the price of over 600 francs per night, I didn't think about looking at the expiry date and, as I said, I had already consumed the drink. He replied that he believed that, but that it didn't matter to him and that he probably didn't pay attention to it when the minibar was put away. When we left the hotel and said goodbye, not a single word came from Mr. Huber. A pity!!!

The service is extremely attentive and the food is to die for. We had a veal chop, glazed with honey. It was buttery and the smoky flavor was exquisite. Everything coordinated very well. If you want to try out the great wine list, you can also spend the night there. We'll definitely be back soon.

Zimmer mit Dampfdusche,Whirpool und Finische Sauna war Top alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir haben es sehr genossen. Von uns 5 Sterne. Sehr gerne kommen wir mal wieder.

Am Ostersonntag ein Gitzi geniessen, das passt doch. Ein WohnmobilDinner durften wir hier geniessen und uns von der netten Bedienung verwöhnen lassen. Vom Gruss aus der Küche bis zur Züger Kirschtorte war alles sehr gut. So ein leckeres Züribürli haben wir gleich noch zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Herzlichen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft!

Takeaway vom Feinsten! Super verpackt mit guter Kochanleitung. Ich war sehr skeptisch, da Zuhause fertig gekocht werden muss. Der Aufwand für das Aufwärmen und Zubereiten ist sehr gering. Der Thaisalat ist genial! Nüsslisalat mit Ei sehr fein. Ebenso Haxen mit Kartoffelstock.

Wir hatten kurzfristig eine Feier mit 7 Personen, mit 4 Tagen Vorlauf habe ich die Krone telefonisch kontaktiert und sehr gut und ausführlich von Herr Huber beraten. Wir haben uns dann für die Currysuppe und den Muotathaler Säulibraten entschieden. Beide Gerichte konnten wir am Vorabend abholen, die Zubereitung war dank der guten Anleitung und der guten Systematik bei einpacken (alle Komponenten waren separat verpackt) kein Problem. Sowohl die Suppe mit dem Knusperreis und den fritierten Bananenscheiben als auch der Braten mit Sauce, Sauerkraut und Kartoffelstock waren sehr gut. Vor allem der butterzarte Braten mit seiner feinen Kruste hat allen unglaublich gut geschmeckt. Vielen Dank hierfür.

Richtig Freundliches Personal man merkt das viel Herz in das Zimmer gesteckt wurde und ich kann es jedem nur empfehlen komme gerne immer wieder:)

Wir waren eine Nacht dort zum Valentinstag und waren total begeistert. Das Zimmer war stilvoll eingerichtet und mega herzig dekoriert worden. Das Essen war super und das Personal überaus Freundlich und zuvorkommend. Können das Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen und werden bestimmt wieder dort hin gehen. Danke an das ganze Team für ein super schönes Weekend.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr entspannend und wir konnten trotz der aktuellen Situation alle Sorgen vergessen und es uns richtig gut gehen lassen. Wir hatten das Zimmer age quod agis. Es war sehr sauber und hatte viele kleine schöne Aufmerksamkeiten. Besonders gefallen hat uns der grosse private Whirepool auf der Terrasse, die grosse Dusche und die Gaumenfreuden. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben einen einzigen kleinen Tipp: Es könnte auf der Terrasse hier und da mal einen Hacken brauchen, damit man die Bademäntel irgendwo hintun kann, während man in der Sauna oder dem Whirepool die Zeit vergisst :) Ansonsten war alles wirklich sehr angenehm. Wir können das Ganze nur weiterempfehlen.

Ich und mein Mann haben wir 2 Tage Wellnes gebucht. Mit Königs Krone bewerten wir das Zimmer mit Whirlpool und Sauna, genauso sehr liebe und freundliche Umgang von Hotel - Cheffs und Personal,tolles/leckeres Frustück und Nachtsessen. Wir empfehlen das Hotel, vergeben wir 5 Sternen und bis zum nächstes mal Auf wiedersehen!!!
