Fantastic little restaurant to wait for the ferry. The sandwich was hearty and the coffee hit the spot. Servers are very friendly and attentive. Gorgeous view while relaxing and snacking.

The ideal place to have a drink on the lungolago, terrace closest to the water in a cozy setting, very friendly welcome: we are not in a tourist trap but in a café with associative activities, astonishing. Ginger juice, a great discovery.

The food is delicious. We had a small salad and vegetarian quiche. We arrived around 3pm; the paninis were sold out. Service is slow but the servers are friendly. An amazing view. Great place for a bite while waiting for the ferry.

Small bar when busy, friendly staff

Tried to get the dense hot chocolate that is so good, but instead they served fairly weak, watery hot chocolate. A bit disappointing. However the service is friendly and the seeing on the lake is excellent.

We waited 15 minutes on the terrace to be able to order after being told inside that someone would come to take the order. Three employees clean tables and stand around. Probably a bit too spoiled by tourism.

The terrace overlooking the lake is beautiful, the external display of the goods is good, the presentation of the dishes is excellent (even if I didn't have the opportunity to taste them), the semifreddo I ordered and the Amaro Generoso were good. Certainly a nice place.

Also when the Prachtbauten in Gandria fehlen, haben die beiden Orte ansonsten einiges gemeinsam. So schmiegen sie sich an den zum Teil kräftig abfallenden Berghängen bis an die Ufer des Sees. Beide Orte wären zudem mit dem Schiff erreichbar. Direct to the mail in Gandria (postal delivery to Lugano) be found at La Bottega di Gandria. Den meisten wohl eine willkommene Station, um die Wartezeit zu überbrücken sind wir der Meinung, dass sich, sofern der Aufwand der Anreise überschaubar wäre, even an extra Besuch als lohnenswert erweisen könnte. Neben dem schönen Angebot kleiner Speisen, die zumeist von lokalen Produzenten stammen, wäre die Getränkeauswahl ansprechend. Der eigentliche Grund für den Besuch wäre trotzdem die direct Lage am Luganer See, die bei entsprechendem Wetter eine schöne Zeit verspricht. Zudem wäre der Ort Gandria, trotz seiner überschaubaren Größe, einen Spaziergang wert. Darüber hinaus gibt es in der Bar immer wieder ART-Events und Live-Acts. More about turtlesurfing .... Much better than any fancy restaurant/bar. The ice cream is homemade and e.g. the pistachio ice cream tastes more like pistachios than pistachios themselves. There is craft beer (also IPA and other stronger ones) and 2 ginger/lime cocktails with fresh, local ingredients. You can also choose from a huge selection of local wines, and everything is reasonably priced (of course, it's still Switzerland). The staff is very friendly and even if you have a tattoo you are accepted. Be sure to try the ice cream!!!

Super nice little bar right on the water. It doesn't have a lot of space, but it's nice to enjoy the peace and quiet. Our wine and local beer was delicious. The food from the neighboring tables looked fresh and tasty too.. The staff was very friendly and we felt comfortable.

If you arrive in Gandria by boat it is the right place to stop; you will be able to refresh yourself, purchase a typical regional product and obtain all the information on the village as well as on the initiatives proposed by its most active inhabitants committed to its protection.

Overpriced! Its a rip off for tourist unfortunately better to avoid it. It has a lovely terrace right on the lake.. walk over take pictures but look for somewhere else where to have a snack. Costi eccessivi!
