Very warm welcome, good homely atmosphere which I really like. I found communication very good. The food was really very good and beautifully presented, dessert was great! I will definitely come back, I really like it

The award for the best gluten-free pizza should be given to this address! The normal pizzas (wheat resounding) were perceived by all the accompaniments from very good to exceptional to a culinary delight. Through a recommendation and when the information about the gluten-free pizza came to me, I noticed the inconspicuous-looking restaurant. The multilingual innkeeper is an entertainment in itself. Even after several years in the catering business, he still retains his distinctive sense of humor, something that is anything but taken for granted in this position/industry. Child friendly & Dog friendly, we had both with us... Since the restaurant is really small, we didn't mention it in the reservation. I led two calves and large dogs with me, before we could even go to the table they were welcomed and given a bowl of water. In any case, my next gourmet feast visit is already being planned, and I have decided to do so; Upon arrival, a whole liter of Panna Cotta dessert (which is freshly made by the head of the house) to order and then not to share it with anyone and to eat it completely alone.̮

The owner is very welcoming, the pizzas are huge but still very good. The standard version calzone is huge and difficult to finish even for a strong appetite!

I discovered the restaurant 3 weeks ago and have already been there twice and ordered once. I am so excited about the kitchen. It reminds me of my southern Italian Nonna's food. Buonissimo!

We arrived at this place without having booked, the owner Giovanni was very kind and found us a table straight away. Italian owner, with truly Italian pizza, plus you can also have gluten-free dough on request (also very good), exceptional treatment, kindness and courtesy, highly recommended.

I have never been to a place where the waiter insults clients as a joke. An average neighbourhood pizza place, fakily pumped with reviews on TripAdvisor. If you are visiting Zurich, please don't go out of your way for this place, it is NOT worth it.

The owner Giovanni is friendly and nice. He puts you at ease and makes you feel at home. The starters are good, I recommend the traditional Calabrian meatballs, balanced and really tasty. The pizzas are exceptional. Impeccable cooking, quality ingredients and well combined. Furthermore there is a really wide choice. Fully satisfied. I can't wait to go back.

The recession is a little late, but not forgotten. La Fonte and the team cannot be praised enough. It's not just the food there that's always a real pleasure. You always feel welcome and well treated. For food: We default to the giant calzone for two, which is absolutely recommended!!! Without eggs and mushrooms, but with onions and olives😉! Believe us, you can't go wrong with this. We always leave hungry and with practiced pizza stomachs... but we can never make the giant calzone... and we always snack on something because it tastes so good... but we always take a whole breakfast home with us... To the team: Well, you know it… you are treated well in many restaurants. At La-Fonte, however, the perfect balance of hospitable and privacy (if I can invent the word 😅) has been found. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

As an Italian, I have eaten a wide variety of pizzas. I would claim to know what is important in a pizza. This man here has the best pizza I have ever eaten in the entire canton of Zurich! Perfect when baking in the oven, great flour, a perfectly tender, airy pizza crust and light on the stomach! If you want to know what pizza means you have to go there! The service is super friendly and typically Italian, very entertaining and attentive. I can and must recommend La Fonte as a top pizzeria restaurant.

A fantastic casual trattoria-like experience on the outskirts of Zürich. This place is definitely worth a visit and going out of your way for. Can easily be reached with tram #7. The pasta, homemade tagliatelle with porcini, was delicious and the pizzas were also super tasty. No soggy mess, perfectly crispy and toppings evenly distributed for consistent tasty bites. The pizzas are available with a regular edge or a thin edge. I recommend the regular edge, as the rest of the pizza is a bit thinner!

Very tasty pizza and friendly service. As a starter we had a fresh mixed salad and then 1x Pizza Bunga Bunga and 1x Pizza Rosa with fresh buffalo mozzarella. Finally, a delicious tiramisu. It was worth it. The motto; COOKING WITH PASSION, EVERY SINGLE DAY totally applies here. The Restaurant & Pizzeria La Fonte is definitely recommended. Thank you for the hospitality.

A distinctive Italian restaurant. Their service is exceptional. Their presentation is nice and distinctive. I recommend it. I took the calzone. It tastes good and is large once. I find it for two or three people. I recommend regular pizza or pasta.

The food was delicious and the portions were huge. Very good price (being in Zurich!!) and very good quality. The service is very attentive and they speak several languages. I have repeated several times and it has always been a very pleasant experience!

We came to the restaurant and immediately asked if we knew what we wanted to eat. We still needed some time but no, after 2 minutes Giovanni (the boss) comes and asks again! We didn't have time to decide what we wanted to eat. Waited more than 1 hour for food. The guests who came later got their food beforehand and we don't get a "sorry"!!! The boss walks around the restaurant as if he thought he had conquered the whole world. Impudence! Too dirty everywhere. No more! Pizza like a soup, no taste. Doner stand is a 5 star restaurant for La Fonte! Best regards!

So I went there for pizza on the recommendation of a friend. He raved about the quality and also the service. Actually, everything I experienced was mediocre. The pizzaiolo couldn't follow my request to please bake the pizza so that the base was no longer moist. I think that here, too, they cover the pizza completely and then put it in the oven instead of first tackling the dough a little, then adding the ingredients on top and then just leaving the pizza in the oven for a short time until the edge opens. This guarantees that the ingredients are not completely overcooked and that the soil is still slightly moist. The service was ok. There were no major mistakes, but they weren't overly friendly or attentive. Overall it was worth 3 stars, but I won't go there again for pizza.

One of the best and most authentic Italian restaurants in town! Giovanni and Rosa run the restaurant with heart and a lot of joy. No matter whether it's pizza, pasta or another treat, I love the shop.

I spontaneously went to LA FONTE for dinner with my son. The welcome and service from Giovanni was very warm. He recommended Tagliatelle con Ragú di Cinghiale. We ordered this. Homemade tagliatelle is very fine and the ragu is also fine. For me the crowning glory was the homemade PANNA COTTA. The only downer: the price... Together we paid exactly Fr 100 for two tagliatelle, two drinks and two desserts. That's too expensive . With all love to GIOVANNI......
