Amazing food, seafood pasta was amazing, the dessert I advise Cheesecake!! It's very very good.

Service is very important here. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you enter Italy. Not fake, but authentic. What a great team! You can immediately feel that they have fun at work and enjoy pampering their guests. A prime example of how to properly lead a team. All the waitresses look after you, no one walks past without asking if everything is ok. The food is world class and here too you can taste pure Italy... prepared with love, incredibly tasty, at fair and market prices. My friends and I were thrilled and will definitely come back. Thank you for the great evening. You are simply great! Addendum: I've eaten here many times now, for me it's simply the best Italian... it's not just the food that's brilliant. Also the staff... The owner Marco is fully integrated into the team and works just as hard. A great guy. Tanja served us today and made our evening an experience. But really every employee there is just great. On Thursday evening I ate excellent pasta (TAGLIATELLE with a lemon cream sauce) and then the tiramisu, the very best thing I've ever eaten. Funny and very nice service (Tanja) we'll be back.

The food can be warmly recommended. No run-of-the-mill pasta. Homemade pasta with lemon cream sauce and chicken🥰 The tiramisu was the best I've ever eaten so far! The waitress (Tanja) reads your every wish and the way she serves you makes you feel comfortable as a guest😍 I'll definitely come back but only if I'm managed by Tanja.

One of the worst services I ever had in a restaurant. Avoid at all cost, there are better Italian places with great customer services around the area. Last night I had to have a quick meal so I dined at the restaurant out of convenience. I ordered Vongole, and there were many small stones in my spaghetti Vongole. I tried my best not to chew on them but in the end, I bit on one and almost broke my tooth. When I told the manager about it, she simply started to explain how it is normal to have stones in the dish because clams do have stones, and that it is not her fault. Not even an apology. When I told her it almost broke my tooth, she simply answered 'but you didn't.' Terrible terrible way to deal with the situation. The spaghetti was also salty and not worth 40chf, even considering its' Switzerland. You will find much better places in Zurich with almost half the price. I also had their beef meatballs, which were served undercooked and with burnt bread. Some meatballs were almost rare in the middle. I just left them out. Again, for 6 small pieces of undercooked average meatballs they were 28chf. Not worth the money.

Definitely my new go-to place for truffle pasta. We were served by “Elena” from the first to the last moment in a super friendly and attentive manner, who took the time to explain the dishes to us and share her personal recommendations. Despite the full house, she always remained friendly and attentive. The food was super tasty and you could taste the fresh homemade pasta and the truffles and the lemon cream were super intense and rich in flavor. For starters we had special homemade bruschette with diced eggplant & burrata cream cheese, which were also very tasty and good in taste. Can't wait for my next visit.

Had a very pleasant meal at La Pasta, seated alone on a table near the window. I was accompanied through my meal by a very humorous and friendly lady in service. I was able to enjoy one of the best truffle pasta dishes of my life here. I can only approve of a visit. I definitely want to go there again on my next trip to Basel. Thank you very much for this culinary highlight!

Walked in to La Pasta by chance on a Tuesday night and were given a cosy table at the back where my guest and I could talk easily in the busy restaurant. We were delighted to find that it was a really comfortable, authentic Italian restaurant. Our Virgin Hugo & Vodka long drink went well with the scrumptious Bruschetta Staggione, so the waiting for my Orecchiette Salsiccia & her Aubergine & Tomato Tagliatelle passed pleasantly. And it was really worth the wait! The portions were generous and we took our time with the wonderful meal. The staff were attentive and the gracious owner came to talk to us and even saw us to the door. We were fortunate to get a table that evening, so I plan on calling to reserve one the next time I go. Thank you so much for an unforgettable night!

Very good Italian. Authentic food. Lasagna and spaghetti with seafood are highly recommended. Big portion. Good wine list, warm innkeeper. Rooms a bit narrow and echoey.

This pasta shop has high reviews. People were already waiting at the door before it opened at 6pm, and it was already full before 6:30pm, with most people making reservations. Near Lake Zurich in Zurich, Switzerland, on the side close to the road is the cable car of Zurich University of Technology, and the pasta shop is in the parallel rear alley. The price of pasta is very high. Two plates of pasta and a bottle of sparkling water cost nearly 700 yuan, but the taste is quite good.

Cool italian place, good food and nice staff. For two, we paid CHF 106 for 2 pasta dishes (pasta with wild boar ragù), 2 glasses of white wine and 2 glasses of amaretto. Bit pricey, but that's Zurich 😕

📝 A good pasta restaurant but also other Italian recipes, for example the pinsa. The service was good and quite fast on lunch although unfortunately I was not 100% convinced by the food due to a small problem. 🍴I ordered one of the options on the lunch menu, tagliatelle with veal rib sauce. The pasta was good and cooked well, the sauce was also tasty but unfortunately inside the sauce there were pieces of bone and also the pleura (or skin) of the ribs, I didn't like finding it on the plate. To make the dish better they should have removed these parts from the sauce. 📍 The restaurant is located a few steps from the polybahn, at the beginning of Niederdorf, a perfect location for visiting the streets of this beautiful historic neighborhood. Inside the place has a pleasant atmosphere.

I’m not exaggerating when I say this was some of the best spaghetti bolognese I e ever had. A must stop for Italian food lovers.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ristorante la pasta, and I was blown away by the entire experience. The food was simply outstanding, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

My wife and I have been La Pasta customers since 2016, so it's high time for me to write a review. The restaurant is of a manageable size so that all guests can be served promptly and the food is always fresh. You can imagine the atmosphere as in a small Florentine restaurant: dim lighting, pleasant background music and, above all, a warm and secure environment. You are always warmly welcomed, be it by the owner or the service staff. By the way, the company has never changed in all this time, which speaks for itself, I would think. The menu is reduced to fresh and authentic Italian dishes, which I think is excellent. Why not?! Less is more, totally applies here. There is also an alternating seasonal offer based on the four seasons. These dishes are also highly recommended. The dessert symphony is a culinary delight, The many nuances are guaranteed to stick in your mouth. With a bit of luck, even the chef will come by and see for himself how well the guests are feeling ;-)

I was really impressed with the restaurant ……………... The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. But the strong point of the place is undoubtedly the cuisine. In this place you will have the opportunity to taste typical traditional products. Last night I tasted the dish Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and it was an explosion of flavours. A dessert to be enjoyed with a spoon was the finishing touch of a delicious dinner. I highly recommend this place to all lovers of good food!"

The best Restaurant in Zùrich I recently had the pleasure of dining at ristorante la pasta and I was absolutely blown away. The food was incredible, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was simply magical.

We came to this place because of the reviews, we got a really bad pasta ( the noodles itself was okay but the sauces where terrible) and the worst part was that the service was even worse, it was our first time that somebody let us really feel uncomfortable in a restaurant, my wife got rude comments by their service! It’s really not acceptable! Never again!

We visited this restaurant on a Friday evening. The food was good, but the service and the ambience were a disaster! Very unfriendly and unprofessional staff, especially the service manager has no idea what hospitable means. She came to our table twice with an extremely unfriendly and arrogant tone. The restaurant would actually be open until 11 p.m., but at 10 p.m. they started taking the counter with the signs from outside and stacking everything in the restaurant (the restaurant is very small). We still had half a bottle of wine, but she wasn't interested. 5 minutes later the blinds around were already down and we were “bunkered down” in the restaurant. So in short the staff didn't want to work anymore and we were practically thrown out. We definitely ate here for the last time!

Came here based on reviews. Very disappointed. Service for the most part was good. Initial server was very charming and friendly. No one asked if we wanted water No spoon or parmesan. Small shrimp was rubbery and tasteless, As was the shellfish. All were tiny. Big portion but not what we were expecting. We had the same seafood pasta dish in Italy and this was no comparison. No bread olive oil Did not ask about coffee or dessert

The best pasta in town - no question. Always fresh, hot and very tasty. If the agnolotti with beef is available, I highly recommend it. The lasagna is also great and generally all the dishes are very good. The staff are also very friendly.

The food was awesome. Absolute recommendation! Ordered the meatballs and the Pinsa Romana as starters. Both very delicious. The main course was the spaghetti seafood and the absolute highlight: the homemade lasagne. Food 10/10 would be happy again at any time. Ambience rather loud.

A dream dinner Last night I had the opportunity to dine at the Pasta restaurant and I was absolutely satisfied. I started with a Pinsa starter with raw ham and buffalo mozzarella which was fresh and tasty. For second I ordered fresh Fusilli with wild boar and pecorino ragout which was cooked to perfection. For dessert I chose chestnut creme brule which was a real delight. The quality of the food was excellent. The dishes were prepared with fresh, high quality ingredients. The service was impeccable. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. The environment was refined and welcoming. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an upscale dining experience

Staff, service and atmosphere were spot on. It had a very cozy vibe on a happening cobbled-stoned street. However, we found the food a bit disappointing. The pastas we ordered lacked flavors and were a bit too bland for our liking.

We asked a retail worker where to eat, she suggested this place. When we get inside we tell the host, who is also the owner, who sent us he tells us that it was his daughter. But what a series of fortunate events it turned out to be. Incredible staff and food, with a pleasant cozy dining area.

I really want to go again. It's a bit pricey, but it's delicious.

Hello, I was in this restaurant today after so many recommendations.. It is not as written here and cannot be recommended at all. I ordered gnocchi with eggplant fresh tomatoes from the lunch menu.. and my mother ordered pizza with tomato sauce and fresh cheese. My food was not fine, gnocchi very small and very little and eggplant only the shells.. Tomato pizza no taste, sauce no spice… everything tasteless.. I think it wasn't fresh tomato sauce and pizza wasn't freshly made, I think it was baked from the freezer.. I paid 71 francs for all this tasteless food, no alcohol! It's not worth eating here.. not recommended! Thanks…

We visited on a Saturday night with plenty of tables available and when asking for a table, the waiters ignored us for at least 15m. Once finally given a table we were sat next to the bathroom and to the kitchen, making it impossible to have a decent conversation. Do not recommend !

Guys who are working there are reeeally nice and friendly! Food was excellent! We ate beef tatar and tagliatelle with truffles and it was really great! Can't wait to come again 😍🍻👌

A lovely little Italian place in Zurich. Off the main road, in Noederdorfstrasse, they have a nice airy seating area inside and quite a substantial outdoor seating as well. The staff are friendly and fast in their service. Food is excellent with a substantial wine selection. I went with a German beer, Erdinger Weissbrau which was refreshing and crisp. The penne rigate with spicy tomato sauce pasta and the veggie pinsa were excellent. They were hot and yummy. Pinsa is kind of like a flatbread made with a bread similar to foccasia.

We chose this restaurant as according to Google Maps it was very close to our hotel & had Italian dishes which we like. At first, partly because the restaurant was so full, we nearly left when it seemed we were to be seated “cheek by jowl” in closely placed tables for couples which were all in a row. Our waitress, seemed to sense we were balking & suggested an empty table for 6 people with high chairs. Plenty of space & in a quieter corner so we snapped the offer up & settled in. With some help from our waitress we ordered beef ravioli & Pinsa. I was thirsty & I mean really thirsty & felt like having a beer 🍺 so I settled on the large (500 cc?) Swiss draft lager 🍺 which as my throat was as dry as a drover's dog I could hardly wait for! So Maria & I are chit chatting & the waitress suddenly popped up first with my beer 🍺 which she handed to me in a flash & said, “Zero alcohol!” I looked at her in stunned silence thinking, “ What the heck!,…. why on earth,… what would I want with a “Zero alcohol” beer for!” After a minute or so, the waitress (Tania as it turned out later.) felt I had suffered enough & still with an absolutely poker faced expression told me it had “some” alcohol in it so, as I was dying of thirst”, I finally felt I could take a long draft of the beer to slack my thirst 😮‍💨 5.2% to 5.4% if I had to guess & very pleasant! The banter continued & we had a lot of fun but what we ordered was pretty filling & even though we had in our minds preselected our dessert 🧁,.. unfortunately we just could not fit a last course in! So when we were leaving, no sign of Tania to say goodbye to but fortunately one of the staff retrieved her from the kitchen & I told her I often do Google reviews & said I would do one for this night 12 Sep. 2023. So goodbye it was & a big passionate hug 🤗 that I will never forget (& for Maria too!) Still can’t believe she is pure Swiss & that there isn’t a bit of Italian lurking somewhere there like in me,.. With the banter & all she made the evening a lot of fun! 🙏 Maria & David

The pasta is super fresh and the sauces are tasty and authentic. Great servers as well. We had bolognese beef sauce with taliatelle pasta which was absolutely delicious. Better to make reservations especially during peak hours.

Fantastic. Even though we hadn't booked, they were able to squeeze us in and the food was all homemade and nice! A cute little Italian, don't judge a book by the cover as the food outweighed the slightly odd location.

Incredible fresh pasta! I tried the truffle tagliatelle and the sauce was rich and delicious and the quantity was really good. I paid extra for chicken and mozzarella and felt like the chicken was worth it, the mozzarella was overkill and not that good with the dish. But that's on me. Would come again!

I share my positive experience on the Italian restaurant called La pasta in the center of Zurich. Helpful staff, excellent dishes and the elegant but familiar atmosphere of the restaurant, like at home.

Everything I got was delicious! The Margarita Pizza, the Seafood Pasta, heck even the side salad, they were all amazing. However, something to note, is they take their time with the food prep for a greater outcome, which is nice but not that great if you're looking for a faster dine-in experience. Lastly the place lacked AC which I didnt like, my family and I had to stay inside since all the outdoor seats were taken and since there were lots of people smoking which is difficult for me. So it was pretty hot inside. Overall a great restaurant in my opinion, would highly recommend a stop by whenever you are near!

Starters and pinsas are amazing. Service is very attentive, polite and came in to check on us several times. One thing that I’d appreciate is air conditioning indoors as it was extremely hot.

Terrible staff!!! They didn’t give a normal table, and then they insulted me and the children for the fact that we went to another restaurant! Shame!!

Looking for a spontaneous pasta evening in the city, we were also able to spontaneously reserve a place for two. The pasta I ordered was simply amazing and I could have eaten another 3 plates of it. Everything was on point and the service was more than friendly, courteous and in a good mood. Only the bread ran out and so I couldn't clean the plates completely :-) Definitely coming back soon!

Fabulous spot for dinner. The Roman style pizza is outstanding. Seasonal tomatoes for a salad were very flavorful.

The spaghetti Bolognese was al dente and the sauce was ok. The prices are very high. 60 francs for bolo and salad is a lot.

My family and I went here while on vacation in Zurich. It was wonderful! It was our favorite restaurant of our whole trip and the service was amazing. Aleana was our waitress and she was very knowledgeable and personable and a great addition to a wonderful culinary experience. I would definitely recommend La Pasta!!!
