Personally, I had a very bad experience with food.

The food was really very good. Nice card, good selection. But then: Had reserved a table. We were greeted relatively unfriendly by a gentleman with an almost bald head and brought listlessly to our table. Service was initially attentive, but at the end we didn't see anyone for over an hour. What is actually no longer possible is that a 4-seater table (according to Corona) can be separated into a 2×2-seater table with a disc!!! The 2 free grappa were nice. Service and friendliness need improvement!

The service was absolutely top. We sat in the back, where the bright light made it feel a bit like a train station hall. It also quickly became very loud, so that it was difficult to have a good conversation (soundproofing!?). The pizza dough tasted a little different than usual (and rather too salty), but it was well topped and very crispy. The green salad was a bit bland for Fr. 9.50, garnished with tomatoes that didn't taste like anything. The selection on the menu is almost too big (quality?). All in all, a pretty nice restaurant with very friendly staff, food good to very good.

Unfortunately, the ambience is hardly there because the seating is very dense, so it is only bearable with plexiglass panes from the old covid era. In the heart of Wintertour we discovered this wonderful purely Italian restaurant 🇮🇹. Lunch hours in this country are from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. At this time ⏱️ it is important to reserve ✍️ because it is usually full. The good news is that they also have a daily menu which, being Switzerland 🇨🇭, amounts to about 20/30 🪙 francs per person. It is important to know that if you pay in euros you will get francs back, another option is to pay by card 💳. Today the menu had the option to choose as a starter from the classic salad 🥗 with which you can choose various sauces, or pumpkin cream 😋 that they make with a variety of fresh cheese 🐑. At the end of the meal they usually offer their traditional digestive called 🥃 Amaro Saronno (bitter almond liqueur) with a delicious lollipop flavor 🍭 but it contains alcohol not suitable for children.

Super friendly. Very clean. Good food, good portions. Went there for lunch both times. Quite crowded, a bit noisy. Of course, it's more practically furnished at lunchtime, I have no idea how the place is prepared for dinner. Service is quick, the team seems well-coordinated. Any time!

The food is good, but there is still a whole corner missing before it would be very good. The wine selection is small but fine. The service was very good at the beginning, present and fast. After the meal, suddenly disinterested and less and less present despite fewer and fewer guests in the restaurant. Ordering dessert was difficult. The boss was very nice and generous, thank you very much for that. I will definitely come back, even if there is still a lot of room for improvement.

The staff is very friendly. We were there in a group. The menu has a lot to choose from and the restaurant is always well staffed. The tables and chairs are close together, there isn't much space to eat comfortably. The chairs are not that comfortable. My pizza was a bit “gummy” and not baked well.

Ordered from la pergola for the first time thanks to a voucher. Even from the catering industry, I was a bit overwhelmed by the many items on the menu. wiener schnitzel (veal) fries, ravioli, caesar salad, bruscetta, tiramisu. All dishes very good for a price that is second to none.. including grappa, noticeably friendly host and service 97.-! Although I've never had bruscetta with toast, it still tasted very good and the portions are generous...big praise

La Pergola has been one of my favourite restaurants for many years. I basically love everything on their menu - from crispy pizza to pasta and one of my all time favourites - the tamarind-chilli duck. They also have a nice selection of wines.

We often eat at La Pergola and have always been very satisfied. For us, the family atmosphere is the best thing about this restaurant. Every guest is always given a very friendly welcome here. I think there aren't many restaurants these days where friendliness comes first. Keep it up mentor and team.

I ordered the shrimp and avocado salad, my friends had the pasta gnocchi Gorgonzola and spaghetti carbonara. The food was an absolute delight! However, it wasn’t just the food that was spectacular. The staff was on point, super attentive and friendly, making our dining experience something to remember. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall charm, creating a cozy atmosphere. Our first stay in Winterthur in June 2024 and our accommodation Emma B&B staff recommended this restaurant. Lovely interior although it can get slightly warm. Wonderful service and generous portions of spaghetti bolognese and marinara. The mushroom and tomato cream soup were also excellent. Great experience.

The La Pergola restaurant in Winterthur is a restaurant that somehow seems cozy and almost rustic. The dark interior (ceilings, beams, floor, tables, chairs) is enlivened somewhat with equally old plants in huge pots. The daily changing lunch menu is ideal with 5 menus (one vegetarian) and 2 pizza menus. The offerings on the regular menu are very extensive, actually monumental, and the content covers half of Europe. Wasn’t there something about “Typically Italian” mentioned on the website? And that's what I ordered: insalata mista and penne all'arrabbiata. I spent a good lunchtime here, in a very pleasant atmosphere (a bit gloomy), with quite tasty food and a host and team, neither of whom performed as well today as others have mentioned in their reviews. It would also have been great if someone had said “goodbye”.

After a day at Technorama, we took a detour to “La Pergola”. This isn't the first time we've been there and every time it's always a pleasure. Incredibly nice staff, delicious food, large menu, fair prices, large portions and a charming ambience. La Pergola is always good for a surprise, be it an aperitif, a starter, a grappa, a glass of wine or the like. Unfortunately we don't live around the corner because we would definitely have found our regular restaurant. Menti and his team do this with a lot of passion and extraordinary professionalism. We look forward to the next visit.

Well, I think the food is ok, but nothing more, nothing less. I think the prices are a bit too expensive. Conclusion: nothing special But the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Saturday evening we had to wait about 40 minutes for our food but that was completely ok because the shop was full Ambiance hmm.. I found it a bit oppressive, it definitely lacks pizzazz...

Abundant dishes, service needs to be improved, in the sense that I hadn't finished the salad yet and the first course was already being served.

The quality of the food is impressive and it is obvious that a lot of attention is paid to fresh ingredients and careful preparation. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating and the food is served quickly even when the restaurant is full. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and inviting. I recommend La Pergola Restaurant to anyone looking for a great menu and a warm welcome.

Had a club event here. The kitchen had everything under control and the staff is super friendly. The Chateaubriand was fantastic! I can fully recommend this restaurant! Be sure to reserve in advance, the restaurant is rightly very popular.

Starter, main course and dessert, 5 out of 5 stars for the taste. Above all, the portion size of the main course was generous and the price was reasonable for Winterthur. The staff very friendly. At the end there was a grappa on the house. Since the restaurant has a lot of tables inside due to its rather small area, it is cramped and loud. Unfortunately not highly recommended for people who appreciate dinner in a quiet atmosphere. Otherwise everything was great. I'd love to come back.

The map is huge, almost too big. Food is quite okay. In the evening it was very loud and the seating was tight. It's the wrong place for a cozy dinner. After the meal, our table neighbors were offered an espresso of grappa. But that wasn't the case for us, which shouldn't happen. I don't know if I would go there again.
