Top restaurant with the finest food. The ambience is great and the staff is very friendly and attentive. I always feel very comfortable, warmly welcomed and very well served. The interior and garden are very beautiful. I can only recommend this restaurant.

Best Italian restaurant in Schaffhausen. The lasagna (whether vegetarian or meat) is absolutely delicious. I can also highly recommend the deer schnitzel.

The worst Züri-Geschnetzeltes ever: ready-made Rösti from a can or an aluminum bag, half covered with the sauced meat with canned mushrooms, a few roughly chopped carrots pulled out of the water - a cheek for Fr. 41.-. As a single guest I didn't get any bread like all the other guests - very poor service. A foreign waiter tried to persuade me, a Swiss woman, that these were all fresh products - only at the age of 70 does a Swiss woman know the difference between fresh Rösti and ready-made Rösti. The boss ran away when a waitress tried to bring her to the table. Really not recommended.

I happened to have lunch here recently. I was very positively surprised. The food was really tasty, the place was nice, the staff was friendly, the service was good and the price was fair. It was a perfect match. It's nice that something like this exists. We recommend. --------------- Unfortunately I have to adjust my review: Because of our good experience, we ate here for lunch and dinner in the evening. After an extensive meal, we were asked to leave the restaurant before 10 p.m. because we were the only guests. Although we would have liked to stay a little longer and chat a bit. According to the website, the restaurant should be open until midnight. A pity. Will probably go somewhere else in the future.

We haven't eaten so much and so well in a long time. The tapas starter was very filling. For the mineral water with oranges and lemon slices and peppermint was a very good idea. We'd love to come back.

Very nice place and friendly staff, but the food was without flavor without soul, and the only homemade dessert we order no was good at all, the rest yes because was movenpick ice cream.

Mediocre saltimbocca, with almost raw carrot vegetables and a brown gravy, a not particularly creamy risotto, unimaginative antipasto with mediocre olives and an indefinable frutti di mare mixture, poorly fried peppers and, last but not least, a caramel head that is more reminiscent of vanilla cream and the name flan not deserved. Our enthusiasm is limited. The service is very good and attentive, but the kitchen needs to improve.

La Piazza, is a very good restaurant, with good food, in summer a beautiful outdoor area with a view of the All Saints Monastery.

My mother saw a picture of a review and wanted that meal. It was from a different season but the staff still made it!!! Mom was very happy. My dish was also amazing. Thank you for care and friendliness. Hope to come back soon.

High class restaurant and high quality pizzeria. Meat cooked with great care by the chef and the pizza... what can I say Antonio the Neapolitan pizza chef makes delicious pizzas. Friendliness and education are at home here and the waiters are fast, trained and efficient. I recommend everyone to stop at LA PIAZZA if you pass through Schaffhausen. 5 well deserved stars

Unfortunately, the food was an absolute disappointment for the second time. Spaghetti Carbonara lukewarm, more of a cheese sauce than carbonara, extremely spicy and the spaghetti seemed more warmed up. The bruschetta was soggy, the bread or pizza dough, whatever it was, was rubbery and not at all fresh and the toppings had no seasoning at all. My companion's Risotto con Pollo was also lukewarm and had an extremely unpleasant aftertaste. The only good thing was the dessert and the friendly staff. No longer worth a visit for me!

Loved the vegetarian options like margherita pizza, countryhouse pizza, mushroom pizza and the pasta as well. A great place to have lunch while visiting Rhinefall. Parking is conveniently available. Great area to roam around as well. A small museum is also located in front of it.

The La Piazza restaurant in Schaffhausen has a fantastic location, close to the train station, but still not in the middle of the city center. I was immediately impressed by the pleasant atmosphere and the beautiful surroundings. The restaurant is well attended, which speaks for its popularity. The service is extremely good and courteous - the staff is always friendly and attentive. The food was a delight for the senses, authentic and deliciously prepared. The diverse menu offers something for every taste. An absolute insider tip for connoisseurs looking for a successful evening. I'll definitely be back!

Absolutely fantastic meal. I had buffalo mozzarella as a starter and then spaghetti vongole. The pasta was al dente and a great sauce on the pasta. Highly Recommended!

Rarely have I eaten such good Italian food. The waiters are all very friendly and accommodating and will fulfill your every wish.

We happened upon the restaurant while walking and spontaneously decided to stay. We received a very friendly welcome and were given a nice table. My little dog was brought a bowl of water without asking, which was very thoughtful as it was very hot. We were completely satisfied with the food, the friendly staff and the pleasant atmosphere. The pizza was very good and my companion was completely thrilled with her pasta dish. Individual requests were taken into account. We will definitely visit La Piazza again on our next visit to Schaffhausen and look forward to it. Visiting time: Saturday, around 4 p.m

I wanted to enjoy a nice evening with my family and we came from far away. But the restaurant was such a failure where we got a table we had to wait and wait for 15 minutes and then my mother-in-law asked about ordering but they just ignored us. I think it's a shame we'll never come back

We were there around lunchtime and wanted to treat ourselves to a good lunch. These expectations were not disappointed. We were quickly served our drinks and food in the extremely large and spacious outdoor area. My pizza was neither too big nor too small and didn't have any burnt spots like I've often eaten elsewhere. My companions were also very satisfied. Full and happy, we set off again. Thanks for the good service. We'll definitely come back again. :)

We've been there several times but weren't always happy with the food. The food was lukewarm to cold, although the plates were very warm, the spaghetti was undercooked and lukewarm. We won't be going back anytime soon.

Italian restaurant with a noble ambience, friendly and helpful service. In addition to pasta and pizza, the menu also includes steaks, fish and seafood. The wine list is a bit sparse. There were only 3 white wine bottles to choose from. Lovely again.

Very good food and friendly service but, a restaurant that doesn't have pizza boxes? The ladies simply packed two half pizzas together and put them in aluminum foil, what a shame!

And during the meal a saxophone player came. With collection. An absolute no go!!!!!!!!

The food was good (we ordered pizzas and the dough was not crispy) but it took more than 50 minutes to be served. The waiter was friendly and apologetic but it really is a shame that you have to wait and they don't serve you at least some olives to snack on.

Saturday night. My wife and I decided to invest in the rest. to go to the zoo. Just something small to eat, as we had already eaten a lot at lunchtime. the restaurant quite full. We still get a table. my wife wanted riz casimir with fresh fruits. The whole portion was simply too much for her. So I ordered the normal portion and asked the waiter to put it on two plates. halved! To our surprise, everything came on one plate and with an additional plate to share. well... that really doesn't please any customer... the fresh fruits on the Riz Casimir plateux were... a grape, two filleted kiwi slices, two wafer-thin, almost transparent pear slices and I don't remember the fourth fruit. I should have photographed what you would get for this CHF 32.-- Riz Casimir meal. When I ordered I also ordered a salami pizza. the restaurant was pretty full and everyone was pretty stressed. I understand such situations too and it doesn't bother me if everything takes longer. My pizza was brought to me about 30 minutes later. However, when I realize that a pizza is being served warmed up, I no longer find it funny at all. 30 minutes to wait? and then being served a warmed pizza. That really doesn't work at all! Even though the serving person tried to make it clear to me that they would only serve freshly prepared food and not warmed up food. Well, it was over for me. The disappointment couldn't be made up for with a replacement pizza or grappa. So for us...we will avoid this restaurant as much as possible. Even if you gave me a 10-year meal voucher booklet...never again. I'm still thinking about the waitress who wanted to serve me a warmed-up pizza with the already overheated and inedible mozzarella foam... I generously awarded one point because - a zero is not possible!

Very nice anbiance. Good and friendly service. We were a group on December 8th. for lunch here. The daily menu was very delicious. And the location next to the All Saints Museum is perfect.
