We were allowed to be guests at La Scuntrada at lunchtime on October 2nd, 2022. The pumpkin cream soup as a starter, served in a cappuccino glass, was a delight, the saddle of venison and the pizokel al aglio were a dream. At the end there was ice cream from the region. Great hosts, we felt completely comfortable and in good hands.

The kitchen knows what it's doing, wafer-thin carpaccio with the finest oil and onion drops. The gazpacho was also great, well seasoned and had a smoky taste. For the main course there was a pink fried veal steak which could have been cut with a dull knife. Porcini mushroom sauce with fresh mushrooms and golden-brown rosti with a light buttery taste and not drowned in fat. The perfect panna cotta needs no further description. Chocolate cakes are fluffy, liquid and simply delicious. Vanilla ice cream very airy and light. We will be happy to continue to eat with you and wish you all the best!

An Wochenenden gilt sonst die dünne Menükarte mit meist gehobenen Preisen. Eine Auswahl wurde für unsere Vorstellungen deshalb schwierig und wir sahen weitgehend unbesetzte Tische über die Mittagszeit. Ob dieses Konzept wohl stimmt, in einer sonnigen Herbstzeit, wo zahlreiche Besucher offensichtlich auch coronabedingt, am Wochenende die Wanderwege und das Bergtal bevölkern ? Für uns hat’s einigermassen gestimmt, aber gleich wieder einmal die Menükarte nach etwas Passendem durchsuchen? Dazu warten wir nun zu.
