La Teranga in Genève

The white rice was crushed into balls by hand too disgusting and marked with yellow in places (unsightly not dubsafran maybe turmeric)

BEST FOOD I’VE HAD IN SWITZERLAND SO FAR!! I never write reviews but this place was a secret gem. I had just gotten off the train at Gare Cornavin and it was late and I was starving and La Teranga was open and nearby. Unlike other places I’ve been in Switzerland, the portions are big so you’re actually getting what you pay for. I had never had Senegalese food, but I would totally recommend it (I ordered the Thiep which is traditional rice with fish but if you don't like fish, I was debating between that and the yassa poulet which looked great). Support a local business! You won’t be sorry!
