Laagers Hotel Garni in Samedan

When we are in Samedan we try to eat here once a day. Fresh, varied and fair prices. Great bakery/patisserie and very nice staff! We will be back!

Best place in Town. Super service. All staff is fantastic.

Bakery: too bad the saleswoman is so “unfriendly” because the pastry is great. Plus she doesn't listen to what the customer asks! We asked for 1 seed balloon and 2 white ones and it was when we arrived home that we noticed that she gave us the opposite 🤦🏼‍♀️ really bad! If this person doesn't like their job, they should change...

Room/Studio number 5! Great room with kitchen and bathroom. Unfortunately, you're awake at 4:00 a.m. because the bakers start working above the room. Don't forget your sleep earplugs ;-)

Rating for the bakery: It's a shame I only discovered the bakery in the Laagers Hotel on the last day. But maybe good for me, otherwise I would certainly have eaten the wonderful Bütschellas every day! The opening times and service are also very friendly!

The room was simple, large and very pleasant, the bed was comfortable and there is a second floor with additional beds for families. The shower could be a bit bigger and the water pressure is rather weak, but the bathroom has everything you need and is big enough. The hotel is dog friendly and there is plenty of parking. The breakfast is very tasty, with wonderful bread, meat, cheese, delicious Bircher muesli and fresh fruit. We felt very comfortable.

Family-run Garni with its own bakery. Modern, spacious rooms with lots of wood. Good breakfast. Egg dishes can be ordered and are included in the price.

In Samedan the address for delicious sandwiches and patisserie. Always very friendly and accommodating in the bistro. Always worth a visit. Much quieter than some other terraces...

Nice place in a quiet town of Samedan. Rooms were clean and well equipped with kitchen, fridge and utensils. All ready for families stay with children. The upper deck is unique but has to be careful as the headroom is very low. Buffet breakfast available at the ground floor with nice pastries, cold cuts and cheeses. Staffs are friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to convenience stores like COOP, Avac. If you like a quiet town and churches, it’s a place for a night stay.

For a pretzel 2.80 without salt! Extra salt would probably have cost another CHF 1 more? And it wasn't a highlight either! My daughter loves pretzels. But after one bite she didn't want any more!

Fantastic breakfast with the best croissants in the Engadin. Freshly baked and wonderfully crispy Sun terrace with awning. A hat is recommended when the sun is shining.

The bakery is a recommendation. The vegetable tart is particularly impressive. Rarely have I had one that was prepared with fresh and perfectly cooked vegetables like this one. The staff at the counter and in the restaurant are very courteous and friendly. We would be happy to come back.

This was our first time in Samedan. And as it is in the Covid19 time... only terraces are open and you search until you discover the "first best" restaurant... and for us it was Laagers. Thank God! It was very nice and friendly. You make the best of the current situation. We were very satisfied and can happily recommend the restaurant. Gladly again!

The sushi was quite terrible- rice is not cooked; fish isn’t fresh.
