I drank a Heida here for an aperitif and enjoyed the magnificent view of the Lac de Moiry and the surrounding mountains. The trip with the post bus from Sierre up to the reservoir was also extremely interesting.

We came randomly to have a drink and a bite to eat, after a grueling hike we were starving ^_^ The welcome was very familiar, warm and smiling. We were able to enjoy a plate of pork with fries and salad and it was really very good! The service was efficient and fast. The bud fir syrup was delicious and the homemade cookies for sale too! The price was right, we will come back when we are in the area again.

We arrived there after a long walk, hoping to have a drink. Unfortunately we had to leave after 20 mins, after still not being served. Very impolite staff, visibly ignoring us on purpose, while it was not even busy. The ladies who work there just radiate negativity and unfriendliness. I do not recommend this place, despite the great location.

Top restaurant, magnificent view of the dam and the turquoise blue lake of Lac de Moiry. Good mountain atmosphere, delicious typical dish of the region. And a very good aperitif cocktail. The place is absolutely not to be missed when you are in the region

Beautiful scenery, friendly service, we ate well. The Moiry cheese crust with pears and grilled bacon is very good.

After a very nice drive from Sierre, you will head towards Grimentz. Before arriving at the bar restaurant, do not hesitate to stop at the observatory which will be a few hundred meters higher than the last parking lot in Grimentz and with a little luck you will be able to observe deer, deer and other marmots. After this stop you will have a few km of road left before arriving at the dam and the restaurant. The view is breathtaking, the Valais plate will give you the necessary energy as will the "glacier" mix of spumante and curaçao - consume in moderation given the descent that will await you afterwards.

Superb terrace which welcomes us in the sun at the top of the dam. It's easier to get space if you reserve in advance, especially on a Sunday. Tiptop after the descent from the Moiry cabin... Magnificent, well-filled cheese crusts! Great options also for children (crusts, fries, etc.) Service with a smile and full of enthusiasm... We really enjoyed it, but couldn't try the desserts since our stomachs were very full. We'll come back for a cup of iced coffee or a homemade pie!

Very good welcome. Varied menu and pretty terrace. The restaurant is located right next to the Moiry dam, departure point for many excursions. Accessible by Postal Bus from Sierre with changes at Vissoie and Grimentz.

Good coffee and amazing views right next to this spectacular arched barrage.

The staff was very unsympathetic and inattentive: 45 minutes of waiting without the staff coming, no question as to how the food was and the bill was immediately handed over.

Very good place to rest, enjoy the landscape and enjoy a good aperitif and of course have a snack...😋😋 Take advantage and take a walk along the edge of the dam and go see the glacier. Have a good trip...

Mega space, wonderful view of the reservoir and the mountains, mega fine food, homemade and fresh. We love grandmother's soup made from onions, bread and gratinated with cheese, it's fantastic...or homemade apricot cake...The service is super fast, very friendly and accommodating. We love trips to Lake Moiry. We would be happy to come back.

A very beautiful and breathtaking dam with many hiking opportunities.

Magical place. The walk around the lake (4 good hours) is magnificent. The color of the water is impressive. The restaurant break is obligatory. Friendly staff and fair prices.

We came for a drink after walking around the lake. It's ideal, there are plenty of places on the terrace and you can also eat good meals. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the lake. The staff is friendly and cares about health regulations.

Magnificent view and there are plenty of hikes to do. I go there every year and I never tire of the landscape that the dam offers us and there is also a small café restaurant where we can perk up. If you are tired and you have your liberty pass you can go back down by bus.

A huge water dam. You can get to the crown itself by car. A winding, picturesque road leads to the site. This is a good place to start mountain trips. There is free parking next door

Unreal colors 🤩absolut “must-visit” place. Also a very nice tour for all cyclist. There is a small restaurant where one could potentially get some fueling if needed. Otherwise you can get everything need in the village before where you will find a coop.

Fair weather paradise Here in this mountain world, only one thing is important... If the weather is right, the 5-star ambience of the Barrage de Moiry restaurant is also right. It is a unique experience when you get a seat on the garden terrace at perhaps four panoramic tables. These tables only have seating on one side so that you really have a clear view of the “Lac de Moiry”. Your aperitif conversations at these tables are guaranteed to be different with this impressive panorama.

Refreshing and beautiful. Worth the 32km hill climb from Sierre. Go for a short hike to see the lake from a wide angle.

Average crust for an exaggerated price

Much too expensive for what you get. If you go to Lac de Moiry, think about taking a picnic. You can't eat it on the restaurant's terrace, but you can easily find some place near the lake.
