Lady Hamilton's in Zürich

Albanian bouncers, too crowded for normal guests, but if the country people speak to the bouncer in Albanian, it's no problem and they come in.🤢

After all these years visiting, enjoying, dancing...they kicked us out for no reason at all. We developped a good relationship with all the bouncers, but apparently the boss needs to display dominance. Wouldn't let us in again, just because of one day when he wouldn't like our face. After several talks to them, they still wouldn't let us in. So if you are a tourist it's a good visit for once, but overall not very welcoming.

Personally, I like the bar more during the day where you can go to the terrace above. In the evening it's too hectic for me in there and the music is too loud. You can hardly have a conversation...

It`s a great place to spend time! We celebrated the birthday party there and the food, and drinks were perfect. We enjoyed our time. I can add that the staff is very friendly.

Location is great. Staff friendly and respectful as always :) In my opinion, rooftop is the best in Zurich!!! Definitely worth a visit. Ambiance definitely 10/10. Gladly again

Smiling is apparently not included in the service, and one of the employees acted like a king and was cheeky and insulting. It's a shame how 1-2 make the overall picture so negative

Actually a great Valentine's Day offer. Fondue was fine, but the whole thing without atmosphere, service and ambience was quite loveless, service slightly annoyed. Although very few guests.

Beer is reasonable price at Zurich. Pull beef pizza was first time good but second time disaster. Chicken wings and spar ribs can feel and taste like packaged food from the freezer. After 9 to 10 pm, the bar will turn into a small club-like atmosphere.

Being turned away at the entrance because of what I was wearing (training pants), I've never experienced anything like that in Switzerland. 2024? Very aloof, that's fine with her, but I'll never go there even if I wear other pants.

Amazing place to share a moment with friends and dance! The atmosphere is amazing! The music also.

This fantastic venue is an ideal place to spend a delightful evening with friends who have a passion for dancing. The phenomenal music and enchanting ambiance contribute to an absolutely sensational experience.

You can eat at Lady Hamilton but it didn't convince us. The burger was good but too small for this price and the portion of fries cost CHF 6 extra, was far too little and cold! At least the food was served but the price doesn't even include a side dish... You eat at the round tables in the club area and when party guests arrive who just want to drink, it gets too crowded. All in all it's not worth eating there. Drink and party. The staff is friendly and speaks only English or a little German.

Super place, the bartenders are very friendly, I recommend you to try all their draft beers, but of course they are expensive compared to Turkey.

Fun pub to grab drinks after dinner. Looked like they have DJs on weekends. Would be a fun spot for partying with locals!!

The mulled wine turned out to be exquisite, and the location of the restaurant was also extremely attractive. Unfortunately, the quality of service leaves a lot to be desired, as the staff was perceived as unfriendly and had no knowledge of German. It would be desirable for Switzerland to always make an effort to speak German. The awarding of a single star can already be considered generous; It is unfortunate that a zero star rating is not possible.

Very rude service - no idea or care for customer service. Not polite. Not worth your money or nerves! Stay away!

I was here with some friend, we were in the terrace who supposed to be the elite of the building and the company. The drinks were not fine for example the one in the foto supposed to be a Moscow mule but it was water with ginger and a little bit alcohol. My other friend ordered a shisha and they took it 30 min to deliver, she took even a tequila sunrise and it was just juice. My other friend took cider and that’s in the bottle so normal is good but whatever. Idk I expected more I was excited to go cause many people talked good. I was already in Nelson and it was good like typically pub but from terrace I expected more.

Good cocktails, good rum and cozy atmosphere. Haven't tried the food yet.

Unfortunately, orders take a very long time. In my opinion, waiting over 30 minutes for a shisha is far too long.

Very nice place close to the mainstation to spend good times. The staff is very jolly and energetic, something that Zürich definitely needs more. If you want to have a nice drink in the heart of Zürich I recommend Lady Hamilton‘s!

We had a great time. we were on the rooftop at the beginning of the evening, had some food, special attention to the burgers, including a veggie one, and also had some shisha. The decor was very pretty.. although in the middle of the city, it was kind of a secluded rooftop, almost forgot we were in Zurich. Very nice. Later went down to the bar and had a lot of fun. The ladies working on the rooftop were very nice and playful. The bartenders down in the bar were very funny and nice too. If we come around Zurich again we will definetly coming back. Thank you

An absolute delight. One of my personal favourites around the world 🌎 and in Zurich. It’s a wonderful vibe and they have a wonderful selection of food 🥘, cocktails 🍹, spirits and mocktails. Great music 🎶 too!

Retro bar vibe with tap beers and great cocktails! It has a rooftop too ( call ahead it gets pretty full ) and the party on weekends is a ton of fun ….. plus it’s free entry.

Good pub atmosphere. Beer too expensive. Limited selection on the terrace (no draft beer). No more happy hour since Corona. Rating food refers to the food beer.

The shisha is way too expensive. Price/performance is not right at all. After 45 minutes the tobacco is burned and you pay CHF 29.50 for it. The statement "in real shisha bars" there are better shisha, ours isn't of such good quality" wasn't exactly convincing. Either the shisha would have to cost CHF 15 (it's not worth more) or you don't remove it from the offer for the guests to disappoint. The atmosphere here is really great. So I like it.

Bright friendly pub. Very nice service. Unfortunately no more happy hour since Corona. In the meantime the prices have (unfortunately) been increased (up to 20%), but at least happy hour is back.

The service was bad. The bouncers don't speak in English and they are too touchy.

I was at the rooftop bar on Tuesday from 6-9pm. The food and wine were absolutely perfect. The service and staff were very friendly and professional. The ambience was also 1A. I can only recommend the location.

Terrible, the service is slow and the customer service is poor. Rude bartenders and waitresses who only care about tips and money. You have to work around the different floors to get better service and prices. I wouldn’t recommend anytime here as the rooftop doesn’t even have a view

Great chicken wings and fabulous cheese Raclette. We thoroughly enjoyed that evening in the rooftop terrace. Great service and marvellous Guinness.

Cozy english-style pub. Happy hour between 5-8pm on weekdays, nice place to have international language exchange happening every Monday night from 7-10pm.

The long weekend opening hours make both Lady Hamilton's and Nelson a pleasant late night stop for a few drinks before the night train, as the main station is nearby. The audience is rather mixed - also in terms of age.

Unfortunately, Lady Hamilton is no longer what it once was. Very unfriendly service. At the end when we left, the bar manager ran after us and accused us of not paying. It's a shame, but we definitely won't come here again!

You can't beat it when it comes to rudeness. No entry despite reservation. The reason? Nobody could explain us. Never come back.

Security guards are an absolute disaster. No entry even though we had a reservation.

Despite a reservation, it was suddenly fully booked, the bouncers had already agreed upon our arrival that we would not be allowed in under any circumstances, as I spoke this foreign language myself. Spend the evening in a bar where you are always welcome!!

Cool pub for a pint or watch a football game during the week. Beers are fairly priced and they have an outside area with heaters during the winter, which is nice. Don’t recommend to go there on Sunday nights, crowd gets weird and the pub feeling is not there

Very cool pub/club. It's a great place to celebrate and have fun, especially on weekends. However, I recommend that you get there early enough to secure a cozy corner.

Dear Lady Hamilton, I am very disappointed and outraged that I had to experience racist behavior from your bouncers in your bar on several occasions. It is unacceptable that dark-skinned people are not allowed in without being accompanied by a white person. I would like to urge you to immediately change this practice and ensure that all guests, regardless of race, are treated with respect. Racism has no place in today's society and should not be tolerated. Nice Irish pub style with good different types of beer. Food costs more than expected, especially the french fries are always an extra of 5,50chf.

Horrible service, specially from the blond woman that looks like being on charge of the place and the security guard at the entry. Bad client service, bad music, low level. Not recomended at all!

Great club for a dance and good pub for a beer. Staff attitude needs improvement but overall it's a nice place to spend a Saturday night.

Service staff are rude. Yesterday evening I was there and accidentally broke a glass and a woman who had blonde hair and said that she was the boss there came to me and said to me so rudely and loudly: How many glasses do you want to break? It happened once by chance. My friend and I were customers from there but we won't go there anymore!
