We've eaten in the Mekong several times now and we've never had the slightest complaint. We love Thai cuisine in general, but this is top notch! Everything always tastes fresh and is prepared very deliciously. The atmosphere is homey and cozy and the service is always friendly, you feel welcome, even when it's busy prevails. We feel privileged to have such a restaurant nearby.

The Mekong Restaurant has a special place in my family's heart due to our regular visits when we lived in Luzern. So as we decided to have a family get-together, it was naturally the best choice now they're situated so close to our new home. We were heartily welcomed by the staff and all our wishes were accommodated with no complications...including that of our puppy. The food was fantastic - from starter to dessert - and the ambience at lunchtime was perfect 👍🏿

We were there for the first time. Have driven past many times. The landlord very friendly. We ordered from the Asian buffet. It was even drawn for us. The various Thai dishes tasted wonderful. It's definitely not the last time we've been here.

The house, which looks almost inconspicuous from the outside, is actually huge. From the cozy pub, to meeting rooms, a hall and a terrace under the trees, the house offers almost everything. It's just a shame that the house with lots of parking spaces and right on the main street is no longer visible. The friendly innkeepers should pamper a few more guests. It's worth a visit!

Very tasty Thai food with a lot of choice. Very nice service (also explains the menus if you have any questions). Very child-friendly (extra portion of fried rice and dessert just as a gift.) We recommend. Pleasant prices!

The restaurant is highly recommended. We were welcomed and served in a friendly and courteous manner. The dishes were very tasty and at a fair price. The lunch buffet is very varied and you will find something to suit every taste.

So you have to know that you can eat Asian food here. Thanks to a colleague who recommended it to me, I tried it out. Food, service, prices are simply brilliant. The service today, which was the boss himself, was brilliant! Up for fun and full-on type. It was great, we'll be back several times. Thumbs up and thanks!

Thai cuisine, pizzas and Swiss dishes have been available here since June 2019. The selection for the Asian buffet at lunchtime is large. All curries are authentic and delicious. The pizzas have plenty of toppings, but the dough has a strange consistency. There are certainly better pizzerias in the area. The question arises as to whether Schwarzenbach really needs such a restaurant. Basically the menu is too big and overcrowded. The service seemed dubious and rather indecent. Promptly, the bill was incorrect and we were charged for additional drinks. Unless there is more passion and a concept behind the whole thing, I see it as black for the lion again.

The host couple Dani and Loredana are very warm and authentic. You feel very welcome. The food is simply brilliant and of excellent quality.

Very cozy country inn!!! Great hosts with excellent cuisine!!! Don't miss the cordon bleu!!! Awesome part!! The rest of the dishes on offer are not to be despised either!! Very easy to get to for bikers as there is a large parking lot!!!!! My wife and I stayed in the newly renovated rooms for two days!!! Gladly again

For hospitality and good local food

In 2013 I stayed there as a guest for a few weeks because I was on Monday. The floor was shared with mostly Eastern Europeans; the cooking facilities consisted of a table with a hotplate on it. There is also a toilet and shower for everyone. All the flies and mosquitoes were unpleasant... In summary... conditions like in a homeless shelter. And you also paid for that... (I think something like 350chf a week)...the only positive thing was the large parking lot right in front of the door.

Disasters cold cream slices and plates not even lukewarm when there are no people Restaurant closed accompanying sandwich no cucumbers nothing on it not recommended will avoid the restaurant just ugh the new landlords are unfriendly arrogant

The service and the food were excellent. The price/performance ratio is excellent. I can only recommend the Landgasthof Löwen to everyone!
