The food was rather a bit of a disappointment given the high expectations due to their 2 Michelin stars. Unfortunately, there are many 1 star restaurants which offer much better menus and also better prices. Overall, the food was not bad, but not in line with the price and the 2 stars.

Spectacular experience from start to finish. We took the tasting menu and highly recommend it. The dishes are perfectly balanced. Langoustine cooked to perfection, accompanied by its equally delicious sabayon. The bar was high but the bar then rose to the occasion with its citrus sauce while the beef and port reduction topped it all off. The staff also contribute greatly to the experience, friendly and knowledgeable. A special mention also to the sommelier who was able to recommend two perfect wines to complete the taste experience.

Chef Oliver Jean’s menu was nicely prepared. It started with some nice courses and got stronger as the menu progressed. Service was subpar, especially for a 2 star restaurant. I had the wine pairings with the menu and the food would arrive long before the wine pairing. We were self serve for keeping our water glass full. Nice ambience, but not to the level of the Paris and London locations. For CHF269 for the menu and CHF148 for the wine pairings, it does not deliver. You can have a better experience at several other restaurants in Geneva.

An Enchanted Evening: Gastronomy, Lemon Surprise and Kitchen View Atmosphere. The memorable evening took place at the bar, offering a direct view of the chefs, a truly enjoyable experience. The enchanting setting, the refined decoration and the warm atmosphere were accompanied by a beautiful menu and a selection of wines. Starting with the roast langoustine, simmered with celery, fine matignon, coral zabaglione, a starter which pleasantly surprised our taste buds with the surprise of lemon, bringing delicious freshness. The main course, Petit Bateau sole cooked meunière, a gourmet variation in the “Crécy” style of caprons, also appealed despite the discovery of a small edge. The service, although sometimes too attentive and interrupting our conversations, did not tarnish the experience. Also note, a surprising tasting of sweet appetizers which added a deliciously unexpected touch to our evening. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to have a great time with friends or as a couple.

Our experience in this restaurant, decorated with two Michelin stars, unfortunately fell short of our gastronomic expectations. We undertook a taste quest with the hope of discovering exceptional dishes, but the result did not live up to this star-studded reputation. The level of culinary research heralded by these prestigious stars was not fully evident on our plates. The dishes, although well executed, lacked the originality and audacity that one has the right to expect from an establishment of this magnitude. We would have hoped to be dazzled by innovative flavors and unique taste combinations, but unfortunately this was not the case. Maybe it's a matter of personal taste, but we felt a certain gap between the fame attributed by the Michelin guide and our actual experience. In short, although the setting is pleasant, we cannot ignore our feeling of frustration when leaving this restaurant.

Classic, good and beautiful presentation. I went to the restaurant for lunch and I liked the somewhat dark and intimate setting with the kitchens right in the middle of the room. Chef Olivier Jean's cuisine is fine and a lot of attention is paid to the dressing. The desserts offered by Titouan Claudet are also exceptional to look at and prove that the technique is mastered. Overall, this restaurant differs from other Michelin-starred restaurants by its setting and atmosphere, but I find that more risks could be taken on flavors, textures and combinations. TFG

A great culinary experience that is worth the detour! Whether you choose the daily menu (very affordable given the location) or the à la carte menus, the dishes are precise and tasty. The only downside, but it's personal, I don't totally agree with the concept. (Black and red atmosphere). Careful service and good advice make you quickly forget this.

I like too much. Forced to eat there every time I pass through Geneva. A feast for the eyes and taste buds. Point less for the sommelier who doesn't smile, doesn't advise and who splashes the wine in the customers' glasses without even showing us the bottle before serving us. Always the same, it's not the first time that I notice his lack of pleasure in doing his work. Next time I will speak directly to a room manager. (I hope it's not him😅)

One word - amazing. We went all in with the tasting menu - 7 courses plus amuses - and the wine pairing as well. First an appéritif which came in the shape of a glass of Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle, not bad! The dinner was of course fantastic. It’s almost hard to mention a favourite but the gold leaf caviar, the langoustine and the buttery chanterelle sticks out in my memory. The wines selected were nothing short of amazing. Good atmosphere, great design in this place and fun to see what’s going on in the kitchen while you are waiting for your next piece of food magic. Everything was executed to perfection and presenter very well by the well trained staff. Of course it’s rather expensive compared to alternatives but we will certainly carry this experience with us for a long time so it’s worth it in the end.

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon at Woodward hotel in Geneva. The restaurant is located slightly under street level. The atmosphere is classy and intimate. Staff is great though the fact that waiters serve you sometimes from behind very high counter lead to uneasy situations (they need to have long arms as job requirements I guess). The food portions are small but everything I tried was good (most of the times) to very good (more rarely: gruyeres aop; fraise). It is a bit of a challenge to determine how much you need to order but the waiters help you through your decision process. Overall, it is an ok value for money experience maybe more intended for for date with model/calorie-conscious and foodie type of dinners. Dinner and one glass of wine was around CHF 175 per person.

Superb cuisine and a wonderful dining experience. Two of us had the vegetarian and two of us had the meat. The cocktails were delicious and tailored to our requests. The wine pairing were interesting and perfectly suited to the dishes they accompanied. We had pleasant conversation (in French and English) with our servers, the mixologist, and the sommelier. Let me start off by saying the service is excellent. However, I find this place underwhelming. The food was well presented but lacking in flavor for the Michelin star and price point. The flavors were flat and the dishes were unimaginative. If the flavors were better, it would justify the extremely high price point. The main plates were 40-86 a piece and the wine started at 22 up to 37 for a glass. For those prices I should be wowed, but I felt the flavors were “meh”. Sadly I would not recommend this place, as the best part of the meal were the small complementary deserts that were given with the check. It almost makes me wish we had stayed for dessert.

Very mixed opinion regarding my experience at the Robuchon workshop: as much as the meal was overall of good quality (without being exceptional, and at 250.- the tasting menu I expected better… and more on the plate ! The portion of lamb: scandalous), as much as the service was really mediocre and sometimes even elitist. Between the chef who carefully selects who to greet or not, or the billing errors, it's frankly not worthy of a one-star restaurant. The positive points: the sommelier, professional and friendly. The setting, neat and well done. Overall: I won't go back. There are much better restaurants in Geneva, especially at this price

Don’t waste your money on it!!! The dishes are definitely not as good as those from the 3* and 2* JR restaurants around the world. I’m comparing it with the ones in Singapore (now closed) and in Shanghai (when it was just 3 months after its opening). You can also compare them via Google maps. One really lacks attention to details here. While the signature dishes still somewhat reflect the creation of the JR brand, the dessert is even more boring than those from 1* restaurants in Geneva, with an one-shot 3D printer tricks, and a broken biscuit on top of it.

Best hotel service I've experienced in Geneva... From the valet to the waiter, the team is incredibly friendly and really wants you to have a good time. In terms of menu, very wide choice of all Mr Robuchon's signature dishes, you can go there and share to taste lots of things, superbly mastered cuisine, excellence of the products... We eat at the bar which allows you to see the chefs cooking, it's an extra experience, expensive but perfect.

Magnificent experience. Located in a listed 19th century Belle Epoque palace, formerly occupied by the HSBC Private Banking bank, this high-end restaurant furnished with sobriety and precision by Pierre-Yves Rochon is definitely an address to discover. Madagascar Ebony and judicious indirect lighting give a cozy atmosphere to this establishment. As for the dishes, success is there. The brigade of chef Olivier Jean, who worked for more than ten years with Mr. Robuchon, excels in balance, accuracy of cooking and seasoning. Special mention for the imperial caviar of Sologne and the crab refreshed with lobster jelly as well as for the whole sole of small boat "Belle Meunière" with salpicon of vegetables candied with aromatics. The quail stuffed with foie gras and caramelized is not to be outdone. For my next visit the proposed tasting menu will be essential. To complete it all, the service is discreet, attentive, efficient and professional. Thank you again to the whole team for this wonderful moment and see you soon. I can only recommend this new address in Geneva.

After Paris we went to Joël Robuchon's workshop in Geneva and truly extraordinary from the first minute to the end, valet at the entrance, as soon as you enter you are treated like kings and the gastronomic menu is just perfect and excellent. , the diversity of dishes and colors are exceptional and the kindness of the staff really one of the best addresses in Geneva, the only downside is the drinks are a little expensive
