Le Bassin Bleu in Lac de Neuchâtel (NE)

The Blue Basin and its magnificent Yurt, brought from Mongolia. The setting is very warm, with decor that has a story, often very original. The manager and his sidekick went out of their way for us. The manager knows the producers of all the products on his menu, a guarantee of quality and regional provenance. The Boletus fondue is excellent, not to mention the sides! Don't waste time to go take a look. The Yurt will leave the plain, when it climbs to the mountain pasture, this spring!

Well located place, on the banks of Lake Neuchâtel, impeccable welcome, the waiters are pleasant and the boss is top notch. We ate there with friends then a second time with my partner, nothing to say, local and tasty cuisine. Several vegetarian choices 👍🏻, the cocktails are also very good. I recommend without hesitation

Starting with the place, not the cleanest i've ever been to, finishing with the organization: i wasn't able to pay at the cashier, i had to go back to the table in order for them to "remember" where i was sitting... It's a bit sad because all the workers where great but, man, do they need to learn how to run a public place...

In the Bassin Bleu we have our feet in the water! They sometimes fill the pool and you can have a drink and/or eat while soaking your feet. Very original! The café is located in the port, there is ambient music. On the menu, varied cocktails, well-dressed burgers and salads.

An exotic place with your feet in the water, just refreshing, we loved it. The food is excellent with homemade fries, yum yum. The server was kind and humorous. The little extra is also the music. I 100% recommend this place which was a great discovery for my parents and myself. They still talk to me about it because they loved it so much.

Two of us went on a sunny Sunday lunchtime and it was perfect! The staff was friendly. The homemade lemonade is super good and the meal is excellent and the price is right. Bägel at the top, excellent fries and really more mention for these, they are not the soft frozen fries that we usually find, yours are really to die for :D and a very tasty little salad which accompanies. We really loved it. The setting and very pretty decor, it felt like we were on vacation :) I recommend.

As a regular customer, cocktails are good, menu is rather small but food is very good. Staff are quick and nice.

Nothing special,and expensive. 7.60!!!!! For a double espresso?? -------- Update for response. Sorry to tell you but you are not the only bar with lake view. The decor, chairs and tables were nothing special. I've drank hundred of thousands double espresso in bars and you are one of the few which charge it with doudle price.

The vegetarian dish was sad, the eggplant caviar non-existent. But very nice staff and atmosphere.

Nice setting and good cuisine (local and tasteful). On the other hand, staff are not very understanding, if you are disabled expect people to make comments to you if you do not come to take an order, pay, ask questions, etc. From the looks of it, the staff looks like they're soaked in flour... You are asked to pay the bill in advance, apparently they are afraid that customers will leave without paying, they should have instead asked the question why and how.. And when it was time to pay, the waiter cashed us in with a big cigarette stuck in his mouth and a good comment to boot. I went there often last year, the service was already mediocre but now it's worse and the menu has been reduced.

Hello team, I wanted to congratulate you on your new 2021 concept (first come: first served). Regarding the decor, it's still incredible to sip your cocktail with a breathtaking view of the lake and the Alps. It also makes you nostalgic with the trips on small boats when you were a kid. Your bagels and salads are delicious. According to the information from your waitress, the products are local and I am delighted to be able to eat a salad that comes from a permaculture near me (approx. 20km). Thank you for serving foods as ORGANIC as those you offer ;-) See you soon !

Superb experience with my daughter, in the yurt this winter (2020). And this start of the season is once again magnificent with their welcome and their menu composed of local products. Beautiful atmosphere... it's good to find this terrace again!

I'm disgusted, I ordered a chicken salad, let's not talk about the price, 20 francs, which is already scandalous for the quantity offered. But in short, that's not the problem, I wasn't very hungry anyway. I can even say that after finding a slug in my salad I wasn't even hungry at all, yes you read correctly, there was a slug in my salad. I can understand errors in the delivery of dishes but after checking there is no slug salad. After offering me apologies worthy of a refrigerator, but doing me the honor of offering me a coffee to make me "swallow the slug", as the expression goes so well, I was told, 2 minutes later this princely offer, that the coffee machine is broken. So no coffee, of course the meal was not offered and so I leave with an empty stomach and no hunger. Welcome to the BLUE SLUG.

Café restaurant bar estival, en extérieur, très original et sympa (dans un ancien bassin pour petit bateau d'enfant), avec vue dans le port. Lieu à découvrir et à profiter durant l'été. Bonne ambiance, musique et DJ le soir. Service agréable. Les clients ici sont cool et décontractés. On y mange très bien. Un super lieu d'été qui va fortement nous manquer durant l'hiver ;-)

lieu sympa, je n'ai pas mangé je precise. mais pris un apéro (mojito) ma surprise est venu qu'il y avait pas de paille et on m'as dit d'aller au bar principal pour en demandé. cool mais non 3balles pour une paille en inox 😂😂😂 la blague.... abe

La nourriture est bonne et un bagel vegan est disponible. Le personnel est tranquille malgré que le ton soit bien monté à un moment entre eux. Le cadre est plutôt sympa.a

Nice place with great ambient and the service is nice.

Nous allons régulièrement au bassin bleu et ne sommes jamais déçus. Les salades, les burgers et les tartines sont un délice. Mais le meilleur c'est vraiment les frites maison! L'ambiance y est décontractée et la musique est sympa.

Les burgers sont délicieux, temps d attente est correct. Cependant le service laisse a revoir, certains serveur n ont pas l attitude adéquate, ils tirent la tronche, disent qu il n y a pas de café alors qu il y en a. C est dommage...

Die Burger waren sehr lecker. Wir haben versucht, Roséwein zu bestellen, aber sie hatten ihn nicht. Der Service war sehr langsam. Wir mussten 25 Minuten warten, bevor wir ihnen die Bestellung geben konnten.

Als Bar super, super Lage, cooles DJ Pult (LKW-Kabine). Im Sommer unbedingt ein Bier wert. Schade das nicht mal der Pool mit Wasser gefüllt wird. Das wäre noch amüsant im Pool mit Stühlen zu sitzen und ein Bier zu trinken!!!

J'aime bien cette endroit l'été! D'ailleurs, c'est fermé l'hiver! 😉 Endroit confortable, fauteuils canapés en pallettes avec coussins, face au lac. Parking souterrain tout proche, sortie côté lac pour les piétons. Accessible en fauteuil roulant. Arrivée des bâteaux passagers. Une carte pour manger tranquillement au soleil, hamburgers, salades... je vous laisse allez découvrir le reste de la carte 😉

L’été s’est top l’hiver C ÉTAIT bien au port avec la yourte mais cette année on nous propose un centre alternatif pour jeunes adolescents DOMMAGE pour les clients fidèles de la yourte depuis 4 ans ! On espère que l’été 2020 sera au rendez-vous ...

Le bassin bleu se trouve dans le port du lac de Neuchâtel. C’est un endroit assez prisé à la belle saison, assez bobo de Neuchâtel 😉. Si vous désirez y manger, je suggèrerais de réserver au préalable. L’hiver il y’a une sorte de yourte. La carte des mets ne m’a pas spécialement marqué, mais c’est complètement ok

Come descrivere questo bar... avete presente la sensazione di calma che si proverebbe a stare sotto una palma con un drink ghiacciato, in sandali e con un panama sulla testa? Quella tipica immagine delle vacanze al mare? Ecco, l'idea è questa quando si prende una pausa in questo bar abbastanza inusuale presso la zona portuale di Neuchâtel: il posto è composto da un set DJ riciclato da una vecchia apecar, una piccola baracca dove servono i cocktails e una piscina svuotata che funge da zona tavoli, sotto dei teloni che riparano dal sole e degli impianti che suonano LoFi Pop. Sul bordo della banchina ci sono altre sedie e dei piccoli tavolini dove ci si può rilassare. La scelta di bevande è molto ampia: da cocktail semplici a quelli più raffinati, ogni persona può trovare quello che desidera, personalmente consiglio il cocktail omonimo, il Bassin Bleu!Nel caso vogliate rilassarvi nel pieno sole pomeridiano, questo bar all'aperto fa esattamente per voi!

Le service a laissé parfois à désirer au niveau de l'attente, mais je n'ai aucune plainte à émettre sur ce qui m'a été servi. J'aime beaucoup leur "Hugo" et leur bagel méditerranéen. Cependant, je trouve les sirops un peu chers par rapport à d'autres bar aux alentours

Enfin un endroit, qui sort du commun, avec une déco originale et des produits locaux et bio( on a même trouvé du sans gluten, végétarien et Vegan, incroyable.)La vue est magnifique, sur le lac et les alpes et l’ équipe est vraiment sympathique .Nous avons mangé les BAGUEL’S en assiette et c’était à tomber !!!! Alors que les cuisiniers ce démène en cuisine avec une cuisine petite et avec un équipement médiocres le pâton a rien à redire sur la cuisine j’ai vu de mes propos yeux le patron qui engueuer le cuisinier qui avait fait son travail j’ai assistai à la discussion il a bien fait de partir...........

Sympa! Bon choix de boissons, je n'y ai pas mangé. La musique a un volume nickel pour les soirées entre amis.

Pour boire un verre c est sympa mais pour manger passer votre chemin clairement. Les hamburgers au pain aussi dure que de la couenne de porc! C est simple la fourchette à plier! Services passable.

Le bassin bleu c'est le bar et restaurant qui n'a jamais fonctionné. Avant dans le bassin il y avait des petits bateaux pour enfants. Maintenant il y a une terrasse. La terrasse prend tout le coin du port. C'est un service au bar et le soir de forte affluence il est très difficile d'accéder au bar afin de commander. C'est un bar qui a de la chance, il a profité de sa position, il se situe entre deux bars fédérateurs, le King lac, tendance rock, et le Rudolph, tendance techno. Durant les soirs de fortes affluences, les gens se rabattent sur le bassin bleu.

Serveur trés sympa, le burger bon et prix correct, mais 45 minutes pour être servis...pfff

Nous étions une grande table de plus de 10 personnes, malgré les spécialités/changements que nous avons demandés nous n’avons pas attendu longtemps. Les plats étaient bons. Service agréable.

Je suis bon client. Très bon même, je ne commande rien au rabais et en plus je donne souvent 10% en pourboire. Ok c’est samedi soir, je demande une table pour manger... une serveuse au bar me dit désolé tout est réservé.... et? Attendre ou... non rien, elle me fixe bêtement du regard genre « casse-toi j’ai rien à te vendre »... bon 2 mètres plus loin une place est libre je la prends. Une serveuse passé encaisser les 2 personnes avec qui je partage la table... Elle pars aussitôt au bar. Je me dis je suis là sur pour le lieu et pas les gens. Personne ne vient me servir et débarrasser la table.... Un groupe de 6 filles viennent ensuite derrière moi et tout de suite la serveuse leur apporte les menus... Ok. Un jour j’ai été serveur moi aussi. « Sers toujours les clients dans l’ordre d’arrivée me disait Laurent au Bouchon en 1996... » Bon... ce sont des extras ok je pardonne. 17 minutes plus tard je regarde fixement la serveuse et en regardant ma table comprend que j’attends bêtement. Elle est nouvelle et stressée. Elle a vu les 6 assiettes précédentes mais pas la mienne... L’endroit est sympa. Le bassin? J’y ai flotté une fois enfant alors que je n’habitais pas Neuchâtel. Qui aurait cru... La clientèle est jeune bobo fauchée, des couples qui communiquent par natels interposés... La nourriture est simple, des Bagels et des salades. Si je ne suis pas malade c’est que c’est frais... Les gens fument alors que d’autres mangent.... surtout les jeunes. C’est récurrent.

Kleines Lokal in super Lage direkt am Hafen in einem alten Schwimmbassin. Super feine Bagel-Burger im oberen Preissegment ein schöner Ort um bei einem Drink den Abend ausklingen zu lassen.
