3 of us ate there on a Friday lunchtime. We didn't have reservations and there was more than enough room that day. The crepes are excellent and so are their homemade fries. Be careful, the service is rather long, you need to allow time when you go to Cape Breton to eat there for lunch (average of 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes needed to eat). The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Despite 2 attempts in English (we are both bilingual) without being understood, we had a reservation after the 3rd call with someone speaking French. Once there, a long wait for 2 pancakes at 25.- each. I asked for a cheese, egg and spinach pancake. The spinach, unseasoned, was placed on the pancake and you could see through it, the batter was so thin. So at this price, it's no thanks for repeating the experience.

The waitress called Mimi was very very rude and when we asked where is our order she gave us the look and walked by without explanation couple of times. The owner’s wife said tgat the people who make booking have priority which doesn’t make any sense if other guests arrived one hour after us. Too bad for them since they lost today their regular customer.

The setting is nice, but how long is it.....for a Tricorne pancake. Many customers who arrived after me were quickly served, with dishes more elaborate than mine. For that alone, 3 stars and I'm being generous.
