We took perch fillets. The salad was okay: green salad and some carrot shavings. Hearty plate of fries. The fillets were bathed in oil. The pan had obviously already been used several times because the fish were studded with small crumbs of (I presume) burnt breadcrumbs, which obviously altered the taste of the fish. Strong smell of oil in the restaurant. Too bad because the setting is nice and the staff are kind.

We took “deer rib, over a wood fire, grand veneur. The meat was excellent, even if we were not asked for its cooking. On the other hand it is very expensive, (54.-/pers) and not having had enough toppings we asked for more spaetzli….which we had to pay 10.-! In addition!!! The service was average, we had the feeling of being inconvenienced. Too bad, the food is good…. BUT….

Food was alright. But service was really bad. We were 7 people, 3 ladies didn’t feel like eating a whole meal and wanted to share 2 dishes for 3. The waiter refused and said « 7 people, 7 dishes! », when asked what happens if we don’t order the 7th, he answered « if he sees the 7th person eating, he will make her pay for a full dish ». The worse part is that he was not kidding, both from his tone and him commenting that we are strange people for asking this kind of thing. The food was alright, but not good enough to make us forget about the waiter’s rudeness - or the establishment’s idiotic policy.

We ate the venison steak and had to cook our own meat using a stove. Not very classic for eating the chase, with a café de Paris butter and no spazli, the chef only offered fries. Damage. The place is always very beautiful and the atmosphere seemed pleasant thanks to the different rooms. See you next time with another dish

We enjoyed the summer so much with this magnificent terrace and these good dishes that we were looking forward to eating the game indoors. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. Venison chop: lack of taste, strange cooking, nervous meat and not very hunting accompaniment. Pheasant supreme: dry meat so not very tender, fortunately there were good accompaniments. Overrated value for money. No luck either eating game meat next to a “cheese fondue” table and a large, lively table which covered all our discussion. Fortunately the service was OK. Bad suppliers and/or bad cooking? we'll stick to more traditional dishes... Too bad :-(

My dining experience at this establishment unfortunately did not live up to my expectations. The tartare had a strong taste of Heinz ketchup, which was not very pleasant. Additionally, the salmon in the poke bowl was overcooked, which took away its flavor and tenderness. I was also disappointed by the service which was nothing exceptional. All of these elements contributed to a disappointing dining experience. I hope improvements will be made in the future to provide better quality food and more attentive service.

Test the Comète: excellent quality of meat!

12/28/2022: We reserved a table for four for a dinner with our son and his countryside, following the good experiences we had with this restaurant. Unfortunately, it was only a succession of disasters: a waiter (gave the impression of having started his activity the day before...) and a waitress completely overwhelmed, pure and simple forgetting to prepare the ordered starters, no alternative dishes without gluten (the rice is reserved to accompany the skewers, the waiter clarified…!!), main course Comète provided without any preparation and placed on the table without care, no more crème brûlée dessert, etc, etc…!! None of the staff who had kindly served us on previous visits seemed to have survived. And to top it all off, a manager (boss, kitchen?) totally exasperated and unpleasant!! Aware of the scale of the disaster, the waiter offered desserts. It’s a shame to see a beautiful address going down the drain… Avoid it from now on at all costs!!

We were very well served Saturday July 9 on the terrace with our group of 17 people. Mohamed provided great professionalism and humor.

The starter was excellent. The fine tomato tart was exquisite, as was the goat cheese millefeuille. For main course we tried the budda bowl and the poke bowl. Unfortunately it was not at the height of the entrance. It was a disappointment for us. We will be tempted by another dish next time! The dessert delighted us. We tried three, the apricot tart tatin, the gourmet coffee and the fondant. That was delicious ! It was therefore, despite the main course, a delight for our palates. In addition, we were very well served, in particular by Nicolas.

An excellent experience on this magnificent terrace. Beautiful summer menu with a big favorite for the sea bream fillet as well as the very professional and smiling service from Mohamed who was able to accompany us on the suggestion of the wines as well as the dessert of the day! Do it again!

Very very good restaurant and we are always very well received!! We go there regularly for lunch. The daily special is often very good and at a very fair price, you can eat there often without getting tired because they are always very varied. Plus they have an artichoke risotto on the menu that I particularly like 👍👍!!

Beautiful terrace, very professional service, dishes well presented but disappointed with my dish which was a tuna tartare: The fish was cooked by the acidity of the lemon juice and it lacked the flavor of the mango as stated on the menu I did not. I didn't feel... (it looked more like a Ceviche than a tartare). I was hoping to get a better dish for the price advertised on the menu. The fries, on the other hand, are excellent and homemade so Bravo and the quantities were however very good, neither too many nor not enough!!

The terrace set up towards the castle in summer is nice. On the other hand 5.- the reverse which does not make 3dl and 2.50 the croissant! It is abused. Indeed, the chairs and tables are not made of marble! Damage.

Mes amis et moi avons commandé tout notre repas : un délice ! Foie gras et saumon mariné relevés juste parfaits. Et la grande spécialité : la Comète !! Une merveille ! Le filetage bœuf te dire à souhait cuit dans le beurre si goûteux. Nous avons tous été enchantés. Je me réjouis de retourner dans cet excellent restaurant. Nicoline, Edy et toute leur équipe souriante et sympathique nous accueillent toujours très chaleureusement. Que l'on soit en terrasse avec vue sur le château ou à l'intérieur chaque endroit est agréable. La carte des vins qui privilégie les vins suisses de la région est fort bien choisie. En cette période difficile pour tous, 2020 et ce COVID... se faire traiter de c*** par le charment monsieur en charge du service dans ce restaurant... car on lui demande de bien vouloir mettre son masque... il parait que nous fûmes les seuls « a lui casser les ****** depuis 3 semaines... »... Nous trouvons ceci inadmissible... comment peut-on avoir ce genre de réaction ... c’est compliqué oui, mais c’est avec des gens comme ceux-ci que nous ne viendrons pas au bout de cette pandémie! Il nous a même rajouter de partir si ceci nous dérangeait... INADMISSIBLE... vous avez de la chance qu’on ne vous dénoncent pas à la police du commerce!

Retrouvailles avec ma cop dans un lieu plein de charme, au choix: côté bistrot, côté campagnard/industriel plein de charme avec cheminée ou télécabine en extérieur.Nous sommes superbement accueillies, prises en charge, service et à plusieurs reprises le patron qui vient tchatcher avec nous et les serveurs tous au top ! Soucis du détail et de l’attention pour les clients . Cheminée allumée directement à notre demande alors que nous n’étions pas les seules ...Tartare et comète, spécialité, sublimes !Dessert que nous avons partagé excellent et le patron nous a offert nos cafés !Je vais rapidement y retourner et faire la pub car la qualité des produits, de l’accueil malgré un contexte si compliqué, tout est adapté franchement bravo et à très vite, j’en salive déjà !

Cadre dont la terrasse très sympa, nourriture pas incroyable mais ça va. Par contre le service est déplorable. Nous avons eu l'occasion de nous rendre à ce restaurant à plusieurs reprises et à chaque fois, le service était mauvais: un serveur qui râle sans arrêt, qui ne veut pas travailler et pianote sur son téléphone alors que sa collègue court dans tous les sens, pas de traçage covid requis, aucune amabilité. Franchement, j avais presque envie de dire que ce serveur change de métier car pour râler et se plaindre tout le temps, autant arrêter. Surtout en cette période difficile, ses râles ne donnent pas envie de revenir alors que nous cherchons à passer un moment agréable et soutenir la restauration locale. Dommage. Quand on est aussi désagréable, il ne faut pas travailler dans le service...

J'invitais mon épouse pour son anniversaire. Nous étions déjà venus en hiver et avions apprécié l'atmosphère, et les jolies salles à manger. Voici quelques conseils:- prévenir lors de la réservation que le service n'est QUE sur la terrasse. Mon épouse était habillée légèrement, et a eu froid en approchant 22h.- soignez encore mieux l'accueil, montrez un peu plus de prévenance- tournez les tables de façon à ce que nous n'ayons pas les pieds en face des montants- servez le Prosecco plus frais, et dans des flûtes, pas dans de larges verres en plastique!- formez votre personnel au conseil pour le vin. Juste présenter quels cépages, et si c'est plus ou moins fruité, n'est guère suffisant- formez votre personnel au service: nous n'avons pas besoin de manières guindées, la décontraction nous plaît, mais un peu plus de soin et de style nous aurait fait plaisir (p ex juste poser la bouteille d'eau gazeuse en passant, sans l'ouvrir ni la servir)- mettez des lampes sur toutes les tables, ça fait plus cosy, aussi pour attirer le passant...- les petites nappes tombantes, même en papier ou plastique, font plus stylé que des sets en papier- l'emplacement de la terrasse est très joli, mais ajoutez-y quelques potiches, un brin de déco, et ce sera encore plus attrayant- la Comète comportait-elle vraiment 200 g de viande? Nous sommes de petits mangeurs, 200g sont trop pour nous, mais là nous sommes sortis de table plutôt légers...

Excellent établissement tant pour dormir à l'hôtel qu'au Resto. La cuisine faite maison avec des produits de qualité est très goûteuse. Un régal pour les papilles. Très créative. Une équipe très aimable et professionnelle. Avec Eddy le patron toujours souriant, disponible et de bons conseils si vous avez besoin de vous promener dans la région de Rolle.Bravo et bonne continuation pleine de succès car vous le méritez.
