Big disappointment today. Shish taouk plate to take away. The skewers are pre-cooked and reheat. And that I still have to reheat at home a second time for the ftour. The taste and freshness are no longer there. Very sad.

I am really disappointed with the experience I had at this restaurant. Although the food is good quality, the service really leaves something to be desired. We spent the entire evening without receiving the drinks we ordered. When we finally asked where our drinks were, the waiter responded casually saying he was too busy serving other customers to attend to us. Additionally, he took orders without writing them down, which led to errors in our dishes. We had to call back several times to correct these errors, which is simply unacceptable. The lack of organization and professionalism of the staff really ruined our experience, and I would not recommend this restaurant because of it. This is the first time in my life that I have put a review on Google for a restaurant because I am so obsessed with it.

Le Levant is my favorite restaurant in Lausanne! The staff are lovely, the food incredible and the prices more than fair. The ingredients are always fresh, the quality always top-notch, I am never disappointed.

They roll out the dough and bake the bread to order for each wrap 😍

Horrible service in an understaffed kitchen. Waited 40 mins only for the first item to come 30 mins where the chef gave us the wrong non vegetarian item when we ordered a vegetarian one. They simply removed the meat and placed vegetables on it. Please don't run a restaurant if you can't keep up with the orders or guests in person. Avoid avo

I usually order a vegetarian or a chicken platter, either in person or via Uber Eats. It’s usually very good, although I have sometimes had stale baked savouries. I prefer the food quality at the Levant Express Branch. They are usually quick but the service can sometimes be a bit abrupt. Sometimes you have to ask for the table to be wiped down. Eating outside is great if weather permits. Inside the decor is a bit cafeteria style. Not cozy.

Extremely rude employee and the order was not the desired dish. Avoid at all costs. I asked to be sure if everything was halal and the employee in question pretended not to understand and corrected my pronunciation, which made me feel uncomfortable in front of other customers. All in a passive-aggressive way. Thank you very much for the free Arabic lesson but I was actually there for the food basically. Arriving at home the beef sandwich was actually chicken.🤷🏻‍♂️😂😂 🤡🤡

Yesterday, we took sandwiches with a strong salty taste in the sandwiches, and we took a tabbouleh plate. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we discovered that it smelled and looked dilapidated.

Well located in downtown Lausanne and always delicious food. But the only drawback is the lack of space if you want to eat there.

Before I enjoyed the falafel sandwiches which were to die for with the hot bread coming out of the oven and cooked to order. But since they started baking the bread in advance the quality has deteriorated... Elastic and cold bread Dry and cold sandwich The price is increasing but the quality is declining.

Our first experience at this "fast" restaurant was ok, but last week - it was ver disapointing and we won't come back. We ordered 2 plates - one with chicken "shashlik" and another one with "beef" shashlik - 18 chf each. We also ordered a tea pot for 2 persons (6 chf). The salad that came with shashliks was soggy, the tomatoes and cucumbers were NOT fresh, you could see that the vegetable were already going off .The salad was swimming in its own juice and vinegar and the rest of the components of the dish -such a humus and another dip and a pizza shaped bread on the side of the plate were all getting soggy and wet sinking in this puddle of not fresh salad juice. Humus tasted sour and not fresh either ( and I am an experienced humus eater so I know what it should taste like) . The tea in the pot was lukewarm. I am not sure why I did not just go and ask the waiter, who runs the orders, to replace the both plates. I guess, this place does not give an impression of a venue where managers listen to customer's feedback. No matter how "affordable" your food is, you can not serve food which has passed its "best before" date. As a result I give you one star and you have lost a customer.

Several dishes were missing from my order. I called to request full delivery or a refund for the missing dishes. The person on the line refused and then pretended to no longer know how to speak French. Too bad, what they were willing to deliver was quite correct.

Very good Lebanese dishes, especially the Kefta plate! Garlic sauce and fantastic hummus! The prices are very reasonable and the plates are generous, I couldn't finish but the chef gave us a box to take home. I highly recommend 😋 it is best to book in advance!

We ordered the kefta and the vegetarian assiette. The felafel was crispy and so tasty but the hummus was definitely one of the best I’ve had in Switzerland! The texture and flavor was perfect! Wonderful experience with kind staff! Hands down recommend this place.

Fantastic experience. Local in the center of Lausanne and a few steps from the Cathedral. The food is incredible - wide variety of choices, all with different flavors and clearly freshly made. The hummus was the best I have ever tried, falafel (heart-shaped) crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside with a well-defined flavour. Definitely recommended and worth doing again!

NEVER AGAIN! I ended up in the emergency room after eating at your place! We went there twice: The first time we ate there, I asked for the tomatoes to be taken away, because of my allergy, they refused... The "cook" didn't want to know anything and asks me, “Is it true? » No sir, I love making up allergies. Where is the professionalism? The second time before making my take-out order, I CLEARLY asked for no tomatoes and I explained that I have an allergy and that it could be dangerous, they laughed among themselves, obviously not in French so that I don't understand. And there, I found tomatoes still in my dish even though I had asked for falafel alone, they made me a falafel sandwich with lots of tomatoes in it, I realized it too late and I had to finish to the outpatient department! I am really shocked at this lack of professionalism, you are ready to poison your customers just after being lazy, I am disgusted, I will never return to this restaurant again! Be very careful if you have allergies, because your health is not their problem.

I ordered an”assiette Kefta” at 18 CHF, they brought me another plate and the price was 23 CHF. I tried to explain that I didn’t ordered that plate, but they didn’t want to listen. Even more the food was just decent. I won’t go back.

The barely cooked meat skewers, the wilted salad, the rancid tasting hummus, this place is a victim of its own success. I really don't recommend. Plus the responses to bad comments are downright rude. Fortunately the waiter who runs everywhere, poor thing, is very nice.

If you hate someone, this is where you should take them! Tasteless hummus, perfectly tasteless “meat” (it seems to be beef...), withered salad and soulless Lebanese bread... What a disappointment! Everything is very, very, low-end. The only small consolation is that the price is also low. To the wise...

Takeaway meals prepared too quickly, everything went into the bag when I got home. Everything was put in the container pell-mell. They want to do it too quickly, they are victims of their success. Lebanese fast food where I would definitely not return.
