Very good bakery and good cappuccino

we had breakfast for two consecutive days in this very particular bar, where you can have breakfast and lunch, or simply buy bread, all of excellent quality, I recommend the breakfast of the day with fresh bread and delicious organic jams, friendliness first 👏🏼 👏🏼

How slow it is.... Not at all the same quality as the Pains Quotidien in Belgium.

This is probably one of the worst cafes of this chain. To start, we were there at 15:00 and tried to order their signature dishes(tartines), but we were told the kitchen was closed and it was impossible to order them. When we asked what was available besides sweet items, they said nothing. However, just approaching the counter revealed a fish sandwich was still available. Then, I ordered cappuccino with a milk substitute, but what was brought to me barely resembled cappuccino at all. It seems like just some kind of coffee water. I asked for a remake, and while they did it so politely, it still fell far short of a decent cappuccino. We ordered orange juice a second time, which they forgot to bring. After waiting 15 minutes, we had to remind them and we had left without it. It's baffling how this cafe can even exist. However, other cafes of this chain are fine and provide the very dicent service.

Server can be present, the floor is completely damaged "stands up" and has been for a long time and no one moves.. I find it very dangerous when going to the checkout for elderly people. I find it good but much too expensive... I paid for a coffee and a chicken avocado toast 29.-... For this price it is better to go eat a meal... The bread is very good.

8 francs for an apple juice is not acceptable

Minuscule portions: we ordered a plate to share (assiste Valaisanne type) and it was child sized, literary 4 pcs of meat at 4 small pieces of cheese for 17CHF. ( I wondered if « a dish to share » in this establishment meant that it’s half a portion because they are giving the other half to homeless, but no… To make it clear, for an adult to eat, they would need 3-4 such plates and that is not to share :D so a budget of nearly 100chf for a snack! Impressive that they dare. Even in the luxury ski resorts I have never seen this. I mean, we are not talking about a stared dining place here. Atmosphère is very nice and cozy.

The setting is nice and the establishment is well located. There cuisine is very mediocre and really expensive for the product. The toasts are bland and uninteresting (around 20 CHF). Hot drinks are prepared with an uninteresting machine either (more than 6 chf). Other establishments offer quality brunches in Geneva but this establishment is not one of them.

Price of "homemade" hot chocolate (6.90.- CHF) which borders on the ridiculous considering what was served to me. No one from no one

Nice place, nice music, but in my opinion much too expensive for what it is. The hot chocolate was good but far from amazing and not a particularly great size either. Charging it almost 7.- is in my opinion not at all justified, it just makes you want to cross the roundabout and go to Les Merveilleux de Fred where the homemade hot chocolate/coffee, even with the very well served whipped cream supplement, is more 1.- cheaper.

It's a very warm place with friendly & nice waitress & waiter 👍👍

Salad with smoked chicken and vegetarian dish: tasty. Interesting combination of green tea with fresh mint leaves in the teapot

We are pleasantly surprised because they also serve excellent quality fresh draft beer. I recommend.

The only downside is the prices, which are a little high.

A Peaceful place where families, couple, friends or anyone can enjoy a good brunch with tons of different choices with a good quality behind it for always putting first the locals ingredients 🌱

Honestly the shame. 2 coffees 1 juice 1 pastry 35 chf. Ok it’s Geneva but everything is overused there. And at this price, we can't sit back. YESSS

Paying 8.80.- for a chai latte that is just hot water with a tea bag and a bit of milk is a little outrageous. For this price I'd expect something else that a watered down version of a something I could make at home. Coffee overpriced too. Service OK. Very noisy.

I should have read the reviews before setting foot there! Quite a disappointment... I wanted to treat myself to a good breakfast and this is not the right place at all. The breads served are so dry, not fresh, and not all the ingredients marked on the menu (no baguette and no croissant, which I had to ask for and wait more than 15 minutes) The prices are too high for the quality of the products I do not recommend this place

We wanted to have our first breakfast of the year in Geneva and we set our sights on "daily bread". In addition, a warm welcome, we enjoyed our breakfast. Packages are offered, possibility of brunching there. The pure butter croissants and breads are to die for. As for the speculoos spread, it’s killer! Welcome without a smile, but the problem is the slowness of the server, we left without having received the coffees, 15 minutes of waiting at 10:50?

Update (late!): The management of the establishment contacted me to apologize for this unfortunate experience and they offered me vouchers. I appreciate their follow-up and the seriousness with which they manage customer returns! I give two points just for the kindness of the lady who gave us smoked salmon instead of ham… but otherwise very disappointed with the quality of the toast with a completely faded salad and blackened herbs in the salad… noting that the staff's excuse was that we had not booked in advance even though there were barely two tables taken and at most 6 people when we arrived… it's very expensive to pay for this Royal Brunch to have such poor service and products!

Friendly and relatively quick service, it's the ideal spot for a light and quick lunch on the terrace. On the menu: several types of toast, soups, salads. Special mention for the homemade lemon-ginger lemonade which was excellent.

Second time and second disappointment. 10 min, without even getting the card this time, and yet few people and 3 people serving. In short, I won't go there again. This is not usual for the chain, but the service is not good.

We ordered scrambled eggs and a boiled egg. These are the least flavorful eggs we have eaten. No flavor despite salt and pepper. My pressed organ juice for almost CHF 7.- was cut with water because it looked nothing like fresh juice but more like a caprisone. When I asked the waitress she took it back from me and left in an annoyed manner to make another one even though I hadn't even finished my sentence I just didn't want another one. Oddly the 2nd glass was darker in color and tasted more like orange. This is totally unacceptable. We are never going back there again.

I go there regularly and it’s always a pleasure! Healthy meals and well-stocked plates, a great team, smiling and efficient, especially in this heat (installation of misters on the terrace to cool it down is great!)

On the door, it says that they open at 0700, but they do not open before 0730. Otherwise good although expensive not cheap!

Terrible. My sandwich had an old bread (at least two days old) i couldn't eat half of it. I mean if you are a bakery, you should refuse to sell hard old bread. You can get better sandwiches in any supermarket nearby, don't waste your time.

Good experience for a healthy dish of the day, I wanted vegetables and I had the salad (very hearty) with avocado toast, diced tomatoes and a little zucchini soup, it was very good, friendly service. On the other hand, the terrace is "hot", because the roof is made of glass, it would be worth it to either paint it dark, or even better to add climbing plants around the terrace which could provide shade following tutors...

Noone place in Geneva has testy soup and bread as in LaPain quotidian... Bravoooo

I was on Sunday afternoon at this terrace which was full. To my great astonishment there was apparently only one waitress for the 80 to 100 outdoor seats!!! I don't understand how this is possible? so in the midst of these critical comments and for having worked in catering, I salute his courage and I say “respect”! to hold on physically but above all morally, in the face of impatient and often disrespectful customers. All it takes is a little empathy to understand that the smile becomes tense, the answers a little dry, and the waiting times a little long. It's often the same scenario in this type of chain where the staff is reduced to a minimum but not the number of tables.

We were very poorly received by the waitress on the terrace. After 15 minutes of waiting we left because we saw that she was not coming to us on purpose. Never again.

Slow service poorly trained young people not very motivated but very friendly. October 11 arrives at 5:45 p.m. At 5:55 p.m. they come to tell us that they are going to close, we leave

"Vegan options" but not vegan sensitized yet. Vegan brunch at CHF 35.90 has room for improvement. If ordering with someone else who also gets bread, your basket will be mixed with non-vegan items e.g. Croissant and blocks of butter. Staff call cow milk "normal milk". They had zero plant milk options today. Given many are shelf stable, this is disappointing. FYI They have 80c surcharge for plant milks. Staff are really nice and it is a lovely location. So, great to see vegan options but if you are strict vegan or order vegan because you are allergic to milk, I would be very careful here for now.
