Le Richemond in Genève

I stayed for 2 nights to see a painting exhibition inside the Palais des Nations. It's right next to Lake Geneva and the breakfast was great! It was fun to see a little bird come close to me during breakfast.

Beautiful hotel with old style. The hotel's breakfast is very attractive. Rooms are relatively larger than other hotels in Europe. The hotel is located near the lake, which makes it even more attractive. The hotel restaurant serves a variety of dishes. In general, it is recommended

What a wonderful table, both classic and creative, where you are served, always with grace and politeness, what you have already tasted but better, with a touch of lightness, nuances, sharpness, tanginess and colors! We welcome you here, which is becoming very rare. These good times unfortunately disappear with the Chef and his entire team. So leaves Richemond, swept away by the consequences of the pandemic. I wish them good winds and good seas, especially see you soon!

What if the best hotels in Geneva and always they have a good deal

An excellent bar, with high service and wonderful cuisine. During the day it is not crowded and quite calm. You can eat no worse than in a restaurant at any time of the day.

Meals in the Garden. Excellent Very attentive service Good consideration of gluten and lactose intolerances of certain guests, without affecting others. ..

Nice hotel close to the lake and the center. Service and food were good, concierge was friendly and could give you good advice. Not cheap, but prices correspond to a 5-star hotel in Geneva and are worth it in my opinion. Anyone looking for a 5-star hotel in Geneva is in good hands here.

Very lovely place for cocktails at the bar, we had pizza which was amazing, I felt like I was in Italy. Would like to eat next time in there restaurant, because we like the drinks and the food. Thank you for your super service. Would recommend

First time there, in the lake view suite which was really nice but also quite small for thar price range. Windows are dated, we could hear noise from the street and cold air coming from one of them (though we weren't cold as aircon worked perfectly) Bathroom was impressive, one of the best I've seen on hotels. View is nice but nothing special as the hotel is not facing the lake. There were fireworks but we just had a small glimpse. There's no terrace. Nice welcoming messages and chocolates but everything was ruined by having to pay a 5mn local phone call 27.- That's some huge lack of style. Staff on the other hand was super nice and friendly. All in all, quite disappointed it's way too expensive for what you get.

Splendid hotel, warm and friendly welcome, in line with the greatest palaces. The bar has crazy whiskey, and the restaurant the garden is killer, the desserts from the best pastry chef 2019 (Gault et Millau) are explosive in the mouth and to the eye, real works of art

Lovely property in the heart of Geneva along the lake. Very convenient walk to train station and short drive to airport. 5-star service, nice hotel spa and gym. Rooms are quiet with luxurious bathrooms

Great hotel. Lovely beds and facilities. Quiet hotel bar which is a shame, but the staff are so friendly and very helpful. I stay here when I go on business all the time but would certainly stay if on holiday.

Ate breakfast in the restaurant on a Monday in August. Service was slow...15 mins after being seated we asked for menus, placed order10 mins after, food arrived 15 mins later. A la carte order was incorrect and we sent food back for correction. Part of one meal (the bread) never arrived, despite asking for it when meals delivered. Apology was given during payment, with mention that "most guest get their own bread". Not sure why we would help ourselves to the buffet if we didn't order the buffet. Overall it was an overpriced meal with poor service and mediocre food.

The hotel is really wonderful. The reception is excellent. They were very kind and respectful. The cleanliness is 10/10. It deserves more than 5 stars. The view is beautiful. It was a wonderful experience and, God willing, it will be repeated.

Beautiful property in a convenient location, easy to access all business and tourist sites. Hotel service is top notch. Luxurious hotel room with spacious and well-appointed bathrooms. Love the showers built for 2 in the junior suite. Definitely worth booking a room with a balcony view of Lac Leman (Lake Geneva).

But good hotel in a good location. The reception here is great. You will be greeted warmly at the door and shown to the check-in desk. There you will find staff that are just as friendly and professional. That's exactly how it has to be in this category of hotel. My room wasn't ready, but the lady promised to let me in as soon as the room was ready. A sentence that I have heard in many hotels around the world and only in two other hotels did someone actually call me. The Richmond is also one of these and is now number 3 in the league. Really fabulous. The room is spacious and modernly designed. It offers all the amenities you need. The only thing I would have expected was a coffee machine in this price category. This is now standard in 5 star hotels almost everywhere. Also to mention: the room was perfectly cleaned (as a person with a trained eye, I unfortunately have to say that this is not the case in many other hotels!). Even hidden corners were meticulously clean. Bravo. The restaurant le Jardin is definitely worth a visit. Perfect service paired with very good cuisine. The bar is beautifully designed and, like everywhere else in the hotel, the service is top notch. The only complaint: the WiFi. It's nice that you can register 10 devices per room for free, but the WiFi should also work. It was a sorry story, so I used my mobile phone to access the Internet despite WiFi. Sometimes the WiFi was there, then again it wasn't, etc. And it wasn't my device's fault, as the phenomenon was exactly the same on 3 devices (Apple and Android). Bottom line: yes, it is an expensive hotel, but you get perfect service here. Plus the perfectly clean modern rooms.

O my word this was a plush hotel,we came off the boat and the heavens opened up with pouring rain this was the nearest place to run to,I got split up from my husband and ended up in a doorway,this very nice gentlemen gave me his brolly and I found my husband in Le Richmond door way ,the hotel man said to go in and he would get us some towels to dry us,was very wet indeed,we said we'd have a coffee and he brought the most fluffy white warm towels,it was like a cloud🤣the lattes came with 4 sweet treats each,we devoured them,we got the bill and omg it had just cost us 20 Euros 🤣most expensive coffee for us every worth it though

Superb in every way. Lovely place from which to visit Geneva

Service was not standardized. Every day for the same meal we were getting different items. Sometimes one thing was missing or the other and we stayed here for 2 weeks. After toothpaste got over, it was not refilled had to ask for it. Complementary water bottles were also given on request. No hot water kettle was there. Everytime we had to request for hot water. Staff was very polite and good. Always coming with a smile :)

Paid for executive room got instead a small room which is ordinary in the other hotels, no view (goes wall to wall with the opposite rooms). Room needs redecoration, it is old. Overall impressions far below expectations.

One of the beautiful hotels that I love, it wins the best view in Geneva and a great strategic location for photography. If you take a balcony with a view, you can see the fountain, the lake, the rest of the hotels, and the mountains of the French part.

In Geneva there are good hotels, very good ones and the Richemond. A boutique hotel chain, excellent service although it has few rooms with lake views. Jazz music in the afternoons.

Organization, quality of what I received, manco, choice of music as part of the event, BOF ventilation. Friendly and smiling service staff, on the other hand.

Absolutely exquisite this hotel. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Incredible attention, the rooms are comfortable and beautiful. The bathroom is beautiful and exquisitely appointed. It doesn't have anything negative.

The chef’s dessert: nothing to say on the plate, very beautiful presentation! But the taste didn't really follow the visual, unfortunately... The servers are very pleasant and attentive, the place was calm and warm.

I only had one coffee there, but the staff are very helpful and courteous. There is a computer as well as a printer available to guests on the lower floor, which is very convenient.

The hotel is beautiful, and I like their attention to all the details that would make the guest happy. They make you feel that you are a guest and it is their duty to take care of you and your requirements. They are very nice, even with the children. They prepare surprises for them in the rooms by adding various chocolates and presenting them beautifully. I really felt that they work with love and as a family that cares about the impression you get from them. And I will not forget the hotel restaurant that delivers orders to the rooms. It was delicious. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Valet service totally overwhelmed and borderline unpleasant...noisy terrace and service not up to par! So I won't come back there again!

Great location. The train station is nearby. Lake through the windows. The fountain is in place :) Minus one star for the strange attitude towards placing children. They will probably try to sell you a room in a different price category if you are with a child, even a seven-year-old. Minus a second star for the considerable and sometimes heartbreaking deterioration of the room stock. The upholstery of doors and wall panels in the rooms is shabby. Mirrors with cracks. The furniture is shabby and bears traces of organic interventions by previous guests. Let me summarize. Don't argue with the hotel and look for the truth. Just take the extra fees as an opportunity to support the number of rooms!!!

Ultra-luxury hotel in the center of the city of Geneva overlooking the lake and of course the fountain.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was nice enough, had a comfortable bed and great bathroom however we had a view of a huge amount of industrial piping as the view over the lake was on the other side of the hotel. The food and drink was nice but expensive.

This hotel is truly special. The staff can't be more helpful even if they tried and the rooms are spectular! The bar has a brilliant wine menu and the food is delicious. Whilst this place just cheap and the quality of service and venue are worth the price.

Excellent hotel, fantastic service. I stayed in one of the business rooms - was a relatively small bedroom vs the size of the huge bathroom, which was almost as big. L'OCCITANE toiletries in the shower etc. The bar was excellent, but cocktails on the expensive side at chf26 each. I would definitely recommend overall.

Definitely not a 5-star hotel! The cleanliness is not at all the forte of this hotel (room and restaurant). Furthermore the furniture is either damaged or dirty. Most of the employees (including the concierge!) do not know Geneva in general and/or the surroundings of the hotel. No comparison with the other Geneva 5-star hotels I've visited.

Very good except the rooms on the first floor which overlook the air conditioning installations.
