Friendly place, good welcome from the staff, cool atmosphere

I just bought a baguette just now because no other store is open (Sunday). It's the same baguette as the coop, defrosted, but twice as expensive. Whether you have flour mixes, ok, that's okay, but a bakery that bakes frozen bread??? and the baguette is a little hard, so it's been cooked for a few hours already, it's not like it was last minute cooking.. If the mood is not gone by tomorrow Monday, you will soon hear me.

It is an excellent place for a Sunday coffee before the train and adventures

I went there today with my very elderly and disabled grandparents and the staff was extremely caring. It feels good ! In addition, we enjoyed the canapes.

I really like the calm atmosphere of this tea room, I always take the same and I find the prices reasonable. Open on Sunday it’s great. THANKS

Tea (natural herbs) - very bitter, the toilet does not open, the light goes out in the toilet all the time (.. during the stay 4-5 times) the light goes out.. and finding it in the dark is a problem...

Disappointment. Galette des Rois without almond taste. Lots of cream. Very pale filling. All the same at 40 CHF…

I go there regularly when I have to bring croissants to work or like today for the galette des rois, never disappointed. Always friendly service and easy to access just a stone's throw from the station.

Delicious little chocolates, sandwiches and rolls are available here. The staff was also very accommodating.

I find the place dark and the customers not friendly and frankly I wouldn't set foot there anymore.

The boss could put cushions with backs on his chairs on the terrace which are extremely uncomfortable. In the women's toilets smell of urine which must be encrusted on the floor or something. The toilets seem clean to me. Friendly staff

The owner and the service staff was very nice & polite. I drank a cafe Americano . It is very tasteful . I had to sat down for along time and nobody brothers me.

This place is unfortunately the only bakery open on Sunday afternoons where you can sit down. The (very low!) quality of the pastries has not changed in more than 10 years of existence and the prices are simply shameful! Between 4 and 5 CHF for this quantity (absolutely tiny) and this quality, it’s really a steal! The table service when we passed was quite problematic too: an employee who approaches without a hello or other word, waiting for us to start talking is quite disconcerting... at the counter, everything is very good on the other hand: friendly, normal. I won't go back there again for sure. There is so much better and even if more expensive, with real good value for money. And let’s not talk about the decor either… it hasn’t changed a bit in the last decade either.

I don't really like putting negative comments but you shouldn't push it either. The decor is simply wonderful, 70s-style leatherette benches, it's really stylish. The prices are quite outrageous. The coffee is undrinkable sock juice and the quality of the baked goods is passable. Excessive zeal also during Covid by asking to write his name on a list, which I obviously refused.

The croissant is very expensive and very small

The pain au chocolat and croissants are DELICIOUS. I was less convinced by the bread. Pruning with greubons is also recommended. Now, when I go back there in the morning, I have my lunch there!

Dry and expensive pastries. They are lucky to have little competition.

The pastries are tiny, expensive, and often not baked or burnt or not fresh. Unfortunately, they are the only ones open in the area on Sundays... :(

The breakfast is way too expensive (not recommended): 19.50 for 2 mini croissants and 2 mini Berner-Weggli with very little confiture, a lot of butter, 1 café and 1 jus d'orange. Well, at least the mini croissants and the jus d'orange tasted good...

A good souvenir of delicious little snacks. Pleasant staff. What would be more important is to announce when there is a closing... Arriving in front and having made an appointment with a friend at this place. Finding a closed door is rather unpleasant.

Nice cinnamon roll & chocolate croissant. Ladies are very helpful and smiling all time. It is open very early in the morning so take the chance and had some bakeries outside while the is no traffic on the street.

I really like this type of tea-room bakery with a terrace. All that remains is to dissuade them from charging prohibitive prices. 4.10CHF for a coffee no but hey oh, we're not in Zurich. Especially since it's not very good

One reviewer said this place was stuck in the past and needed updating....uh that is what some of us like to call "charm". Located a few feet from the train station in Lausanne, Le Romantica is a clean old school pastry shop loaded with goodies. Sitting outside and people watching is great. The prices are reasonable..10.50 chf for a coffee, one savory croissant and one sweet pastry. The employees speak enough English to get by. A suggestion...maybe you as a visitor learn a little of the local language. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is they had no WiFi.

A magnificent window, tempting pastries, we fall for it and buy 2 pieces for the evening dessert. But what a mistake! LE BABA AU RUM: small trace of diluted rum, sponge cake topped with sugar syrup to prevent it from drying out, whipped cream with a dubious taste. THE LEMON TART: the cream is such a compact block that you wonder when it dates from, a taste of iron on the tongue, in short, inedible. I'm not used to being so sharp, but this really stuck with me...

Good. Cappuccino that so much...

Drinking coffee while eating a Sunday cake...it's possible here. And it's quieter there than at the brunch across the street. Reading a newspaper in the tea room is a wonderful, cozy and... Swiss habit!

Neighborhood tea-room bakery, well located, close to the train station.

This local bakery has it's charms. The staff are really friendly and welcoming, its managed by some nice old Swiss ladies. They speak mainly French but they can speak simple English, enough to help you find what to order in the bakery. Try the local meat pie, its so amazing!!

Very nice place for a coffee, the pastries are delicious!

First and last time I set foot there. I find products in the window that can be found at the coop pronto. I ask the waitress what such products are made in a bakery. I am assured that everything is homemade. When in doubt, I buy a bread stuffed with chicken curry. The one from the pronto coop! I ask to see the boss and after a few minutes of bad faith he tells me "if it's cooked here I can say it's homemade". I think it's a shame to buy frozen industrial products and sell them as if they were homemade. It's unworthy for people who really put their hands to work for probably less margin. I would also like to highlight the condescending tone of the boss who was clearly not bothered by the situation.

Little boulangerie / café behind the train station. Easily accessible in less 5 minutes. Only has about 10 tiny tables. Products are ok and the staff nice. However, the place is hidden, tiny and lost in the past. It definitely needs a full redesign.

Hateful operators. Very ugly place. Dear. And don't take cards. To avoid!

Simple, well located with pastries or savory items according to your desires. Very warm welcome and possibility of tasting on site. Decoration a little dated but clean.
