Intimate, Romantic, Cozy, Beautiful! I have been more than five times and for me every time I return my return is pleasant... Very professional welcome and impeccable attention!

Very popular place, with a magnificent terrace and view of the lake. If we have nothing to say about the cuisine, on the other hand the service was not up to par. Placed in the bistro room, we were somewhat forgotten, for too long!!! So, no extra glass of wine to finish the meal, no dessert or coffee.

Mixed salad the size of a fist...steak hard and so small...I honestly don't recommend it to people who want to eat their fill...they offered beers at the end but unfortunately that's not enough to make up for the disappointment...

Good food. But we have never eaten medallions of venison cut so fine. (hunting is not a carpaccio) The quantity does not justify the price

Wonderful location right on the lake. The food was also very good, but the portions were small. The service could be better, the orders were forgotten several times. If you can get this under control, it would be enough for 5 stars.

Went to this restaurant last weekend, had one of the worst experiences of my life; the tartare must not have been fresh: I vomited for a whole day… If we add the fact that the service was really slow and not really friendly, I won't go back there at all.

Yesterday was our 27th wedding anniversary. My wife had a reservation at Silex for 7 p.m. We meet there when we get home from work. Arriving in the parking lot at 6:40 p.m., my sweetheart receives a call from Silex: the storm is brewing and there is no longer enough room for us in the dining room. Turned away like passengers on an overbooked flight, we fell back on China Town right next door. Even if the evening was very nice, it leaves a strange taste to see our reservation at Silex canceled... a first for us, despite our great age ;)

Magnificent terrace, the service is good and the cuisine is decent.

Very nice restaurant with a view of the lake and harbor, fantastic in summer. The food was good, desserts were excellent. Service is quick, but there are many different employees and coordination doesn't always work. Waited longer for the bill.

We had a reservation for the Silex. The view from the terrace was nice, especially if you like boats, since the marina is right in front of the Silex. But behind it there is the lake and the mountains and practically no buildings to obstruct the view. The service was very nice, quick and courteous. The food was really delicious and although the portions were small, it was enough to be full at the end.

The ambience right on the lake is awesome! Outside on the terrace or in the lounges you can enjoy the view of the lake and the peace and quiet. The menu is manageable but still has enough fish and meat. If you can't decide on the starters, it's best to just take the platter like I did. The service is very attentive and professional and the food came super quickly. The portions seemed large at first, but were extremely filling. Luckily there was still room for dessert, which was excellent! The restaurant is a short bus or car ride from Neuchâtel and is worth a visit!

I was delighted by the warm, summery atmosphere, as well as the attentive service of the staff. The dishes were good, showcasing fresh ingredients, and the flavors were delicious. Without a doubt, an address not to be missed if you are looking for a great culinary experience in an idyllic setting on the shores of Lake Neuchâtel. A very large, well-appointed terrace. A large aperitif area. A view of the port and the lake.

Despite a very nice setting and a terrace facing the lake, I was very disappointed. The service was really slow and the restaurant was not full. A tartare not cut with a knife, the texture resembled minced meat. Clearly lacked seasoning and taste. Too bad the prices are a little high for the quality of the dishes. I think I will come back for a drink but not to eat.

Very disappointed arrived at 1:30 p.m. on Friday June 16 on the terrace opposite from the lake, a large and pretty terrace but only 3 people were having a meal, quite a long wait when suddenly a waiter arrives and asks us what we want and when we tell him that for the moment we want 2 coffees he tells us that anyway the terrace and closed, that they must prepare the service for the evening I regret this attitude but more and more restaurants by the lakes where when the view is beautiful you either have to book, or eat even if the terrace is half empty We had the same experience around Lake Morat Neuchâtel and Gruyère To believe that all and good for a certain elite and the others basta

The location is excellent, the service is good. Unfortunately the food wasn't to our taste. Well prepared but not consistent with the selection. Potatoes instead of toast with the beef tartare and loveless salad dressing. In addition, a salad plate was delivered instead of a normal salad without asking. That should be the case and unfortunately we left half of it behind. A pity. Maybe again another time.

Very well located by the lake, this restaurant offers you a varied menu. The food is very good, however the service is not up to par with the establishment. The staff is nice, the problem comes more from the management. We definitely do not recommend the rum baba which seems to come straight from a supermarket. Relatively high prices. Little advice: book early and ask for a table next to a window.

Restaurant very well located by the lake, magnificent terrace, efficient and attentive service, good quality dishes. We go there regularly and we enjoy the tasting plates.

We arrive, we sit on the terrace at a table in the sun to have a drink. The waitress tells us that we have to go to the other side (in the shade). We decide not to stay and take a walk. We come back 30 minutes later, elderly people are seated at the table where we sat. Who are we laughing at?

Incredible but true: we paid an addition of Fr 80.- with a voucher of Fr 100.- and we are told that the boss considers that the voucher is used in full!! Fr. 20.- bonus for the restaurant! We had to intervene aggressively to get our money back.

Very beautiful terrace on the port of Hauterive on the banks of Lake Neuchâtel. Very friendly and dynamic staff. The card is small which is a good sign. We took the "fresh" plate which is composed of salmon tartare, sea bream cevice and tuna tataki... a delight. Beautiful desserts too. And very good value for money. We'll come back.

A lovely dining experience lakeside. Service was impeccable. Many French favorites served in addition to Swiss cuisine items. Dine outdoors for the water views, weather permitting, or by the windows on the lake. Upscale with a modern twist. Excellente!

Too much waiting for this lunchtime bland Russian salad not spicy as well as the salmon trout presentation of the plate mediocre... the pilaf without taste.... The contents of the plate mediocre... At Flint we ate much better than that in the time of Paul Sauvin and yes everything is changing... too bad

Disappointed, dishes which took 1.5 hours to arrive, very little taste, no condiments put on the table, slow service. It’s a shame, the setting is magnificent and I loved coming there.

Super expensive and the portions are so small. You will still be hungry after eating there.

We arrive, we are shown a table for 3 and we are handed a card without even a good evening. We order, the starters (mixed salads) arrive, nothing to say. Come time for the dishes, beautiful presentations! Just before finishing his plate, my dad found a 2cmx5cm piece of plastic in his goat cheese salad. He decides to kindly point this out to the boss, she doesn't apologize and just seems surprised. For us it can happen, we decide to have desserts, no complaints yet. Until we wanted to pay where the waiters walked past us as if nothing had happened or as if the remark for the surprise on the plate had not passed. After 30 minutes, we were finally able to request this addition. What a surprise to see that no coffee, commercial gesture or even an offer of free coffee was made. They don't have a sense of business, but still deserve this star for the kitchen.

The welcome is warm, the terrace a dream. As for the cooking, it's a real joy. The choice of dishes is vast and the result sumptuous. Reservation required.

Nice view, good service, less than average food.

The menu is limited and (which is a good thing because) quality! We were quickly served, the staff was attentive and smiling. We enjoyed Prawn pasta and beef tartare, accompanied by a Pinot noir in oak barrels. Beyond the taste aspect, it is also the place which is exceptional, on the edge of the lake, where calm and a relaxed atmosphere predominate. Be careful, there can be a little air, so if you eat on the terrace, take a little woolen blanket.
