Leafs in Zürich

The service was great and the food was good. They are gluten-free friendly, but do not offer lactose-free milk.

We will remember the Leafs restaurant (and the Engimatt Hotel) fondly: we were able to celebrate our wedding at this wonderful location in the middle of the city of Zurich. We felt so comfortable with Sandra and her team - the food was great and we know that we will eat in this restaurant often (possibly organize other small celebrations there). For anyone who would like to celebrate a big celebration in Zurich and want to be really chic and urban, this is THE location that I will recommend from today on.

Very nice place, first time visit. Parking is a little unclear; you can park in the blue zones in the street but these places are usually limited to one hour. There is parking in front of the building which was a bit unclear because its marked with a yellow line and in front of parking garages. Perfect ambiance, excellent staff, good quality and nicely presented food.ordered the burger, entrecote, cheek of veal and fish. The fish was comparatively a tiny fraction on the mediocre side; the other dishes were just better to my liking (personal preference). The burger was cooked perfectly medium, as asked. The entrecote came in a clay dish and was doused with a delicious “cafe de paris“ type sauce (but at the time, slightly salty). The cheek of veal was super tender. The absolute bonus pf this place is that they have a cigar lounge where one can smoke their own cigars. For my taste the lounge was a bit too brightly lit. The lounge is furnished with leather seats (at the time approx 15 places) and a kind of higher table with stools. There is an air filtration system. During my visit there were about 11 smokers inside and we seemed to. Be producing more smoke than the system could process. Nevertheless it is a wonderful opportunity to have some food, drinks and cigars, all under one roof. None of the “criticisms” stand in the way of visiting this place and having a wonderful time. I would certainly go there again.

I had the English breakfast, but with veal sausages, very tomatoey baked beans and potato wedges (👁️👄👁️) I must say it was not a great imitation 😅 the atmosphere was fine but a bit hotel breakfast... I was hoping for something a bit more industrial chic. Nothing terribly bad about this place and I don't regret going, but I wouldn't visit again.

This place is a bit of a hidden gem. You walk up the stairs in an unassuming hotel building to the restaurant which features elegant furnishings and a wall of windows looking out into the outdoor courtyard (which is very lovely for alfresco dining in the warmer months). Overall the experience feels refined and upscale, while the quality of the food is consistently high and reasonably priced.

Leaf’s is a beautiful restaurant well tucked into a beautiful lane in Zurich.. The service and food is good. There are Veg options when compared to the other places but don’t expect full fledged menu like that one we find in UAE, India or other Asian food joints.. Lot of bread options and cheese.. Will recommend when you are visiting Zurich .. 👍

We enjoyed dinner in the beautiful Leaf garden in beautiful summer weather. A little oasis in the Enge district! Traveling by public transport is recommended, but there are also parking options: blue zone or the hotel's own parking spaces outside and an underground car park. The food - the hamburger - was a dream and the service was very motivated and attentive. The rest of the dishes on the menu would certainly have met our taste - we'll be back!
