Friendly welcome. Nice back room, but the chairs are a little uncomfortable after an hour. The pork ribs are very good. The tartare on the bone presents well and is good. The cheese crust flambéed with pear in Botzi is very good and light. Good desserts. I recommend this restaurant.

We discovered this restaurant by chance one lunchtime. Excellent presentation, quality service and, despite slightly higher prices, particularly good and well presented dishes! The experience was conclusive, because we returned there the same evening to enjoy the fondue tasting. Highly recommended!

Very nice experience! We were very well received by all the staff, attentive and discreet. Good advice on choosing fondue: especially since it is possible to order one from one person! An establishment that also knows how to adapt to food intolerances, and which was able to provide gluten-free bread in advance (this should be emphasized!). Finally, nicely decorated frame. We will come back without hesitation!!

We tasted 3 fondues, head of monk, demi-moitié and Vacherin. All were excellent. Desserts too. The scenery on the terrace was magnificent. Very friendly staff. I will come back with great pleasure.

Stumbling upon this restaurant by chance, we had the pleasure of tasting a 100% Alpine Vacherin fondue. It was a delight that we can only recommend. Also worth mentioning was the service, which was simply perfect! We'll come back!

We had a very good dinner! The repertoire of fondues very good, the first one a little scarce. Unbeatable treatment and they let us have the dog with us.

There were two of us on a short motorcycle excursion and wanted to take a dinner break. The person I was with had already eaten at l’Enclume and I’m happy that she shared this address with me :) Terrace with beautiful view and very friendly waiters!

Restaurant discovered by chance. We ate there with 3 children in the Carnotzet. There were few people. We ordered a platter of dried meat, 1 fondue for 4 and a piece of beef plus desserts. Everything was excellent. The impeccable service, very attentive and able to make fair recommendations. My daughter had cold legs and they brought her a blanket.

The environment is very nice and welcoming, romantic I would say. Unfortunately, as usual, they speak French even though you point out that you can't understand them and for this reason I give 3 stars to the service. The food was good, but the onion soup did not impress our palate. Some of the onions were pickled ones and were a little out of tune. Cordon bleu good but a little overcooked...and then the exorbitant prices make me give a 3 to the food too. However, it remains a very valid alternative in the area.

We came two evenings in a row, we tasted the tartare, the entreclume with melting vegetables, even better the basil spritz, I never drink alcohol and well it was really delicious I would make the recipe at home. The owner of the restaurant was really welcoming and very friendly, we will definitely come back if we have a future weekend at the Bains de Charmey 😃

4 guests with the gourmet passport. We were well received, nice and warm atmosphere, very pleasant service. We enjoyed the pan-fried slate and cuchaule-breaded cordon bleu.

We ate there for the first time at lunchtime and it wasn't our surprise that everything was homemade. We went back for the Valentine's Day menu and it was really fabulous. Impeccable service thank you again and continue like this

Fondue was normal. Rösti and the toppings were dried out. Portions were small and service was average. Pricing was an outragous rip off. For this price you can dine in the most exclusive and truely fancy places in Zürich and not in some village tourist trap. Never again!

We came here for dinner and without being hotel guests. Restaurant: Magnificent view on the terrace and we were won over with our meal! The tartare was delicious not to mention the fries which made me happy because they were very salty. The salmon trout was worthy of a great restaurant with its pretty decorative tile. Value for money more than OK! I also did not forget to mention that the comfort and cleanliness of the place are impeccable. Staff: The waitress was kind and professional! She seemed to be the only one serving that evening but no complaints!!! Fast and efficient, it's a pleasure. Thank you for this good time!

Very good cuisine, very well prepared dishes

Restaurant located in the very pretty village of Charmey. It was possible to eat outside or inside but we preferred the second option (lots of wasps on the terrace). The food was good, homemade – overall we ate very well but the service left us a little more perplexed. We had the feeling of being disturbed, the waiter was not the most welcoming, the brief exchanges to order made us uncomfortable. This was our second experience in this restaurant, the first time we were also disappointed by the service... too bad!

We came for an aperitif and a wedding dinner, very well received, quality service and the meal was just perfect with very good quality meat in a very beautiful setting!

If you go to Charmey, you have to come and eat at l’enclume. Already, the decor is superb, the welcome is top notch, the staff is super friendly, smiley and super professional. We really feel like home. And the meals, I’m not even talking about it… it’s just excellent.
