Literary café since 1960, the most beautiful little library in the world... and the best cuisine in the region... a very friendly, warm and personalized welcome. All plates well decorated and full of flavor. I highly recommend but be careful to take the time to book!

Swiss chalet restaurant, with fresh local and regional products. The cuisine is in the Gault- Millau book. If the weather is nice sit on the terrace with the amazing views of the Pigne d' Arolla . The Peak with its all year round ice and snow above 12'454 ft above sea level or just under 4000 m overlooks the beautiful Valley , Val d'Herens. We had a local traditional 🫕 fondue.

Very good restaurant, nothing to say about the cuisine, it's excellent. But long waits (40 minutes to give us the card).

Great place to eat. First the view from the terrasse is amazing. Then the menu and what you get in your plate is as great as the view. On top of it the chef is from Belgium and can let go his imagination with top local ingredients. A place to recommend without hesitation. We will come back

When refinement mixes with generosity, we experience happiness. Tasty, varied cuisine that changes regularly in a magnificent setting. Nice wine list and Belgian chef obliges: the beers are good and Belgian. A restaurant where we take the time to explain the menu and they are right, we have time up there.

Welcome to la Sage, in french it means the responsible one...looking at the menu at Collines you know its going to be hard to hold yourself to it 😓 The master specialty is the locally raised beef from the breeder next door. If the Britany oysters in kiwi sauce and the fresh Peruvian inspired ceviche are good, the meat blows you away. We started with the os-a-moelle covered in light crunchy onion flakes. They were a great match with the hot moelleux of the bone heart. I'm salivating again writing about it. It's delicious🤤 We moved on with the slow cooked beef ribs bathed in a flavorful herbed BBQ sauce 🍖. Yum. Just as good, especially when scooped up with the tasty puffy pomme dauphines. To top it off we finished (the meats) with the slow cooked beef cheeks. Its unctuous double pressed truffle purée & tender meat was simply amazing. Trop bon. Somehow, we found space for a shared "Coupe Collines" : home made vanilla & stracciatella ice cream covered in warm salted butter caramel 😋. It was so good we went for a second. Bravo et encore merci pour votre excellente cuisine !🙏

We were on the sunny terrace at the end of March and we can only recommend this magical place in this beautiful Val d'Herens. The large selection of dishes is incredible. Everything is very tasty, the service very attentive and warm. This was our 2nd time and it will be one of our favorite restaurants. Thanks to the cook!

Amazing experience. And now, in the middle of the uncrowded heights, close to the peaks, there is no hidden gourmet restaurant. Where in the past we were served fondue in local costume, we savor refined dishes, designed and created by a genius chef. Definitely worth the trip.

We always have a lot of fun coming, whether in summer with the bonus of the lovely view from the terrace or in autumn for the delicious local hunting dishes on offer and the warm space! The staff is always attentive and gives good advice. A nice wine list also offered with a choice of natural wines, worth trying!! We will come back with pleasure, as always 🤗
