Les Gourmandises d'Emilie Sàrl in Genève

I've been to Les Gourmandises d'Emilie Sàrl several times and every time I paid in cash, the old lady with glasses at the cashier tried to cheat on the change and gave me back at least 2 or 3 CHF less. Always. This morning was the same story and I will not be back again.

One of the rare true bakeries and pastry shops in Geneva. Good or bad mood a priori it is the customer who sets the tone. To hell with the complainers 🤣

Just had an espresso…no cash on me. Pay with visa card….the waitress told me verbatim that she will take 50 cents more on the coffee. The principle disappointed me.

This property does not accept card payments. In 2023, it's a shame!

Everything is so good!! The baked goods are really something. Just be aware that they don’t accept cards as far as I know (or until a certain amount), so bring cash.

A real bakery where nothing has changed for years. Baker on site, who makes breads and pastries, friendly welcome, fast service, serious newspapers, quiet terrace during school hours, little eyes are looking for their specialties.

Nice little pastry shop with very good service. Possibilities of eating inside or outside. The pastries are homemade by the manager's husband.
