Li-Beirut Restaurant by Boudi in Winterthur

One of the best Lebanese restaurants in Canton Zürich and absolutely the best in Winterthur .. a bit pricey, but the food quality is top notch. The food took a while to be served, hope you are not too hungry if you're going to dine-in. If you want to try real Lebanese food give it a try, absolutely worth it.

Average place, small choice in the evening buffet, quality and the value for money on a low side.

It was a disappointment for me and my family. The reserved table was at the entrance where guests kept coming in and out and it was cold. The service wasn't very friendly either. The starter (mezze) was good although we had to ask for the flatbread. Unfortunately the main courses weren't at all, the chicken was sour and they probably forgot our food in the kitchen so we got it too late and cold. I have been to many Lebanese restaurants that were much better.

Too expensive for the quantity....SFr 34 per person for 7 mezzes, including hummus, and 2 similar sauces...

Very good and fresh cuisine with friendly service. Something different in Winterthur. We recommend. Danger. No alcohol. But that shouldn't stop someone from visiting a restaurant these days ;-). We'll definitely be back!

We often go to the Li-Beirut restaurant, the quality, the service, the ambience, the dedication and passion from the kitchen to the service, it couldn't be better! The best Lebanese around! If you want to experience gastronomy with passion, where the guest is still valued, then in this beautiful restaurant!

Definitely our favorite place!! The food is always lovingly prepared and presented with great attention to detail. The oriental cuisine suits our taste exactly. We've never been disappointed, so we always enjoy coming here. The service is always friendly, helpful and courteous, even in stressful situations. In addition to the oriental highlights, the ambience and surroundings are of course unbeatable. You can just enjoy, relax and let yourself be pampered. We always like to come back and can only recommend this restaurant!

On Friday evening my wife and I were in Li Beirut's garden on Wülflingerstrasse in Winterthur. We were warmly welcomed and since we had reserved relatively early, we were actually able to choose our table. Since I'm not really familiar with Lebanese cuisine, we were given the best advice, including that starters were generously sized and therefore enough for two people. So we ordered a falafel salad and two mezze mix. A total of eight different components came to our table, all beautifully presented and all together creating a great picture. That's exactly how it tasted, fantastic. We had a great evening here and felt very comfortable. Even when it was full, it never got loud or hectic. The service was very friendly and attentive and the food was an oriental experience that we will always remember fondly. We plan to recreate this experience soon. We would like to thank everyone for the great hospitality and will be happy to recommend you as great hosts.

Saturday we were in the Li-Beirut restaurant where should I start and where should I end? Everything tasted excellent, top service. I can really recommend it 100%. It even deserves more than 5*. A big thank you to the chef

My husband and I had dinner twice this summer at this restaurant. Excellent Lebanese food and great chef. We had variety of Mezze and today we also had the spicy fish, which was excellent. The whole atmosphere is nice and friendly. Dining in the garden is a real treat. The family running the restaurant and the staff are all professional and nice. Highly recommended and we will certainly go back.

Beautiful settings and delicious food! We sat outside on the terrace which had a beautiful garden. We had the wonderful salad topped with pomegranets, the array of dips, dolmar and rice with chicken. The staff are also very kind and very accomodating. They also have a prayer room for Muslims 😍

The best. Amazing. Cannot recommend enough. The labneh, the rice, the babaganoush, the rice, chicken, the mock tail drinks - the absolute best. Don’t miss it. And dessert was delicious. Just the right amount of sweetness. And the service was amazing - such kind people and so attentive. And the decor is beautiful and authentic.

Absolutely recommended if you want to eat authentic Lebanese cuisine and also want to do so in a very well-kept atmosphere with excellent, friendly service. This is the right place for you and you will definitely feel completely welcome as a guest. The boss not only brought a lot of experience with him from Libann, but also cooked successfully at the Hotel Waldhaus Flims (5 star hotel) for several years. We ordered too much and the boss asked us if we really wanted to eat that much. We were happy that he pointed out to us that the additional skewers we ordered did not come without a side dish, as is often the case, but with a proper side dish. We were happy about that. Absolutely recommended! We'll be going back soon...

We were there for dinner and were warmly welcomed. We were able to sit in the garden at the back of the building; this was very pleasant. We had the mezze platter, my husband with meat and I vegetarian, and were extremely satisfied. The food is very nicely prepared and very tasty. The friendly service does the rest. A place to feel good and come back!

I have been eating Lebanese dishes in Beirut and Europe for 18 years, including from family members from Beirut. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the food is far from real Lebanese food. Flatbread was missing, service rarely came, plates were missing from the buffet. Price too high. I was disappointed. I'm sorry.

Incredibly delicious food!! Chef Boudi takes the meaning of "home made" very seriously and you can really taste it!😋 The restaurant is very close to the main station, which makes it an ideal location for a nice dinner without having to travel too much. The service was super friendly and the chef and his wife were very attentive.

My grandson and I went here for dinner... and were very disappointed. Our dishes were totally over salted and therefore inedible. We told the chef about this and he just remarked that we were the first to say something like that. Oh well…. In addition, all the components seemed to me to have been prepared, i.e. they didn't taste freshly prepared but rather like so-called semi-finished products... just purchased. A far cry from the authentic Lebanese cuisine that we know very well. I'm sorry to say that, because the service was EXTREMELY nice. The ambience is ok, but the plastic tulips on the tables are annoying.
