Food was good but unfortunately not worth it. Delivery took 2 hours - boss apologized personally - but still too long and relatively expensive 75.- for 2 people, barely full Too expensive! Minimum order value 65.- plus delivery fees

Great food, but you should be patient as it often takes a long time for the food to arrive. Still one of my favorite restis in Winti!

Price-performance ratio is perfect. The portions of the mezze plates are generous, filling and taste delicious. The ambience of the restaurant is a bit "overwhelmed" but the service and the food are good. I ordered the vegan mezze platter and my companion ordered the vegetarian mezze platter.

Absolute recommendation! It was our first time at Palmera and we had an excellent meal. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy and inviting. We'll definitely be back!

Fine food, nice service, nice toilets, generous portions. Also suitable for vegetarians and vegans. We will be back. First I deducted one point for the ambience. But actually it deserves 5 stars. It's not my fault that the Palmera gets a clean 5-point rating

By far the best restaurant in all of Winterthur. The service is excellent and the food is incredibly delicious. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The oriental furnishings and atmospheric music give the ambience an authentic touch.

We ordered vegan mezze for 2 people for 50.- and were thrilled with the quality and selection. We will come back.

We had our business Christmas dinner at the Palmera restaurant in Winterthur on December 15, 2023. What the kitchen team conjured up in their small kitchen for our 37-person team was very impressive. The service team also gave everything and fulfilled our wishes. The food was very tasty, the ambience was great, the hospitality couldn't be surpassed and the prior arrangements were also uncomplicated. Thank you! We can happily recommend the restaurant.

We ordered catering for 16 people to our home. The food was absolutely fantastic and the quantity was more than enough. It was delivered on time and all agreements regarding menu etc. were adhered to. We absolutely love the quality of the service and food!

We regularly order food from Palmera as we are both big fans of the regional specialties. It is by far the best middle-eastern restaurant in Zurich and the surrounding area and the competition is simply miles behind. If you like Lebanese/Israeli/Syrian food, you MUST eat at Palmera. The food is fresh, perfectly and authentically seasoned and the portions are huge. Every time we had guests and ordered from Palmera, we received countless compliments about our favorite restaurant. Newly opened, orientally decorated with new furniture. Food was varied with that certain extra on top..., the vegetarian plate for lunch with all sorts of hummus, vegetable rolls, falafel, spinach dough, feta pastry, pomegranate, cucumbers, bread and and and for a cheap 18.- Chicken salad Palmera was large, deliciously seasoned, with lettuce, corn, orange and herbs. The “sandwich pieces” are delicious and juicy with chicken and garnish Service courteous and with a real good mood. Sat on the terrace behind the house, really comfortable and surprisingly quiet Happy to come back :)

Our restaurant experience at Palmera was sensationally tasty. The chefs prepare their specialties with heart and a lot of love. The two chefs are true masters of their industry. The staff is very friendly, familiar and uncomplicated. Everything is freshly prepared. No food waste, everything can be taken home. The staff reminds us that we can take our leftover food with us. It is packed very well by the staff. This is a top class restaurant with 7 stars. A hidden treasure in Winterthur Töss. We will be back!.

This restaurant has a lot to offer, it has instantly become my new favorite restaurant! It was convincing in all areas: the staff was super friendly and attentive, the food was extremely well prepared and it tasted excellent! Finally, a dessert on the house and the dining experience was complete!

We experienced wonderful impressions “between the pillars” of Palmera. The food was very beautiful and prepared with great attention to detail. Very friendly attentive service. The food is very authentic and super delicious. We would like to come again.

The food is ok. However, when you look at the kitchen and the sanitary facilities, you lose your appetite. The staff simply cannot communicate. Very unfortunate. Therefore the order was misunderstood and the wrong food was delivered. The staff could not provide any information about the ingredients of the food. The employees have long loose hair and some of them can be found on the plates. Glasses are touched at the top and brought to the table. The prices are quite demanding for the service, location and ambience.

Totally recommended! Really very delicious food! Few people can do something like that, I was looking for a Syrian specialty for a long time but never found a good one! very nice service!

I do not recommend this place! I came with my husband and child and we were deceived. The lady serving us, taking advantage of our ignorance, gave us spring rolls instead of sambo rolls. When I drew her attention and told her that the number of pieces was not correct, she started talking to me in German and said that I was in their country and I had to adapt. Food not good. Our stomachs hurt after it. Very rude service. Foreigners beware! Avoid this place!

I live in Töss and was surprised that such a cozy restaurant with extremely delicious cuisine had opened on the row of houses. Very pleasant. There was even a delicious dessert offered. Everything was best, the wine was also great. I will definitely go there again soon or order a selection for home when visitors come. The food is ideal to combine with an aperitif and dinner.

I discovered this restaurant spontaneously and I have to say the portions, the meat was also very juicy, everything was very fresh, clean (the eye can see it) and it was even beautifully prepared for take away. I can only really recommend it.

The ambience is pleasantly surprising. However, the high prices were not compatible with the poor service and the food served. The knowledge of German was so poor that our questions about the menus could not be understood or answered. The stay was ok. However, no need for a further visit seems to have been awakened.

Another insider tip! We were here for lunch for the first time. The Palmera serves Syrian specialties. There is a large selection of mezze. We chose the vegetarian plate and the chicken skewers with a side dish. The food was very tasty. The restaurant is comfortably furnished. We have filled ourselves very well. We'll definitely come back. There's still a lot to try out. The restaurant is suitable for meat lovers, vegetarians and vegans.

Went here spontaneously for dinner today at the newly opened Palmera. Totally positive surprise. Very cozy oriental decor. Excellent Syrian food with great meze side dishes.
