Lido Beach House in Luzern

The Lido Beachhouse serves as an event location. And in most cases these are truly wonderful. The location couldn't be more beautiful on nice days or evenings. One star deducted for the really dirty toilets. But something like that can be fixed. If you want. I also recommend that you always take a look at the homepage. There are always seasonal food events.

Of course a great view over Lake Lucerne 🥰 ... ILOVEIT! ...... with lots of idyllic seating options! Unfortunately, benches and tables were a bit very “dirty” and self-service drinks were rather expensive and staff friendliness, well. Man or woman, it could definitely keep it a little cleaner and restaurants have room for improvement. Therefore unfortunately only 3 ☆☆☆

I bought a beer, I asked for a glass, all good. After I wanted to sit down in a bar they told me I have to go outside because they have a closed party. Great view though.

The coffee consisted almost entirely of foam and was lukewarm, the tables were dirty and it smelled disgusting inside. The only positive thing was the plant decorations and the location.

The blonde male bartender was absolutely chauvinistic, pretending not to understand my order. His words were: ich verstande dich nicht, ich spreche nur Hoch Deutsch... And continued saying that in here we needed to speak proper German. It's a sad day when a public service as a bar employs wannabe Nazis...

The team at the Beach House Restaurant does a very good job. They are always friendly. At 22 francs, the price for a mid-range planted burger without any side dishes in a self-service restaurant is completely exorbitant.

This woman with the piercings is very unfriendly!! Otherwise we are satisfied but we won't eat anymore if you serve us.

The salad bar was a very welcome surprise. Very fresh with a small but nice variety of vegetables including quinoa and quite tasty dressings. After a few days of schnitzels and breads I was craving a meal full of veggies… and fries of course. Washed down with a cold can of presecco. All that and a waterfront table and I was a very happy girl. 😁

The atmosphere is very nice. They had some live music, lots of people were dancing and having a good time. The food is delicious. They also offered two vegan burgers and a vegan chocolate oat milk. It is a little overpriced tho.

Cool shop. Prices just ok. Nice people. Unfortunately it has to close at midnight. Otherwise perfect for quenching your thirst!

Today's visit was very disappointing. 2 minutes after we were finally able to pick up our burgers, it started to storm. We asked the staff if we could please eat at the Beach House. The answer was that the floor had already been cleaned and that wasn't possible. They couldn't offer us any other solution. We then consumed our rather expensive (CHF 22) and not particularly tasty burgers while sitting on the ground at the entrance to the Lido.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful Lido outdoor pool on Lake Lucerne and I have to say it was a fantastic experience. The Lido not only offers a stunning location on the shores of Lake Lucerne, but also a variety of activities and amenities to make your stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the exceptionally delicious pizza served in the Lido's restaurant. With fresh ingredients and a crispy crust, it was a real treat and made for a delicious break during my day at the lake. Another great experience was the option to rent a stand up paddle. The Lido offers this water sport activity and it was a fantastic way to explore the lake in a whole new way. The feeling of standing on the calm water and enjoying the beautiful surroundings was simply unforgettable.

The view is fantastic. The tables are very dirty! The toilets are very disgusting! Unacceptable for such a restaurant! Will never go there again.

First there is no price list on the board. So I couldn't tell the price of the burger. When I checked out, I found that the burger cost 18 Swiss francs and it didn't include fries. I was shocked! Moreover, the price list listed next to it is very small and needs to be read very carefully. Furthermore, the service staff cannot communicate in German, so they cannot clearly express the price or better service. ——I personally think that if the items and prices can be written on the billboard, it will improve the clarity of the customer's view, and there will be no feeling of being "cheated" here—— The environment is very good, but no one seems to be clearing away the used meals or wiping the tables, so the entire dining environment seems quite poor. ——If you can pay attention to the quality of cleaning services, this can improve the atmosphere of the entire dining environment! —— To be honest, we came in with high expectations. After all, I thought the sign outside was very beautiful and pink, so I thought it would be very comfortable. If you want to improve the overall environment, I suggest you visit Sempach Badi! I feel like I'm on vacation every time I go there! Super comfortable! There is a lake and a good dining environment! I highly recommend it and like it very much. I really hope you can improve it so that our local residents living in Lucerne can have a good dining and environment. Of course it leaves a great impression on the travelers too.

Sunday evening a must for every SALSERO

Unfortunately, absolutely different than shown on the homepage. Bar or small self-service restaurant within the bathing establishment, furnished like in a swimming pool. The grill or BBQ, which looks quite tasty on the homepage, only opens at 6 p.m., which is not stated anywhere. Until then, only kiosk food. However, cute bar and very nice staff, hence the stars.

Not recommended to visit in the evening. 0815 Badibeiz. Paper and plastic plates, grubby, dirty and dilapidated furniture. Has been.

The food at the Grill House yesterday was very bad. Burgers had to be brought back several times, the meat was still completely raw! With this price range of burgers, it is unacceptable that the food is not checked before it is served. The staff was patient.

Today we had dinner at the Lido Beach House. We thought it was really nice to sit right by the water. We first had to orient ourselves a bit. Self-service is the order of the day here. We then ate delicious quesadillas at the food market. These are available with chicken or vegetarian. The fries were also very tasty. Here you could freely take sauces. It was also interesting that you can also have breakfast there.

Burgers from the bottom drawer, the cheapest of the cheapest. Sauce tasted very sour, like it was bad. Stomach cramps and everything that goes with it.

Super nice atmosphere! We were there on a Saturday with moderately nice weather and especially enjoyed the location. The food is mediocre and overpriced. Crepe with Nutella for 9.- Nice drinks, but also rather expensive. Friendly staff. I'm conflicted, that's why 3 stars.

The Lido Beach House has looked like a feast for the eyes since the renovation. It invites you to have a drink or enjoy a delicious burger. Unfortunately the food is not edible. I have tasted your burgers not just once, but several times. I would like to see more emphasis on quality when choosing burger meat. With these prices and this meager self-service, I expect an increase of at least 300%! If I didn't know I was eating a burger, you'd think I was eating a bicycle tire. I ask you to correct this problem. It's a shame and the location.

Inside the lido, there are children's games and good food. Nice place to have lunch after a nice swim

Super nice location. The food and the staff are great. Drinks are very cheap and of top quality compared to other locations. The bartenders are great. Highly recommended to spend a nice evening.

Location & events top, staff and price-performance flop. + Location: Very nice view, palm trees, by the lake, holiday feeling. + Cool that there are events :-) - Staff: Was rather unfriendly and not interested (in self-service) - The prices are way too high for what you get! I ate a vegan burger that was tasteless and cost a whopping CHF 24 (without service). Everything was served on a paper plate. I've never been so disappointed with a vegan burger. I would have preferred to eat an MC Veggie from McDonalds (better and cheaper). The fries were also sloppy. See picture... It's a shame. Great for a drink, but I wouldn't come back for dinner.

Well, we were there twice. We had lunch once and the food was rather bland and like it was in a mediocre canteen. On the second visit we were invited to an aperitif, the snacks included a kind of wrap with various fillings. These were OK in terms of taste, unfortunately not quite as fresh and to top it off there was a metal chip in a wrap, which probably came from a stainless steel spiral that is used to clean pans. We will avoid this place. Still 2 stars because it is beautifully located.

We ate there twice during our vacation. Unfortunately, both times the staff was completely uncoordinated and could hardly speak any German. The food took a long time and was partly cold. Also very expensive. I think for a Badi it doesn't have to be a deluxe burger for 18Fr. be and without any side dish. It's crazy when you have to spend over 100 francs for a dinner in a swimming pool for a family of four! What a shame! Location would be awesome.

Had a burger from at the beach house during the day. It was halfe the size of the bun, dry burnt and tasted dry. Also it was cold. I hope this does not happen in the evening when the full menu is available.

I got a super dry and completely overpriced burger. When I asked for more sauce my burger was thrown away and a new one was made??!! Stay away from the burgers ;) At least the space and the view are excellent :)

A great place to spend an impressive evening on Lake Lucerne. The drinks, the food, the ambience and the scenery are simply harmonious, whether summer or winter.

I rarely write. Only after your good or very bad experiences. Today I was very disappointed. Last been there 2 years ago. Back then, halloumi salad was made with toasted bread, pomegranates and was really tasty. Today: Migros mixed salad with ready-made dressing, without decoration. Fed up? Nope. Had to eat something later and it cost over 20.-.

Nice location right on the lake. You can invest in new tables and chairs, but they are a bit uncomfortable. Drinks are good. Service was friendly. We ate burgers, we didn't think they were that good. Little sauce and the bacon drowned out any other flavor.

Service Disaster!! First queuing for 15' then waiting 45' for a portion of fries and nuggets. Staff completely overwhelmed. Only the company event guests were given priority. Never again…

The location of the Lido Beach House is probably one of the best in Lucerne. The unobstructed view of the lake and mountains, coupled with the large selection of delicious food and drinks, make every visit an experience.

Great view, flopping operating concept. I had to queue for 10 minutes to get two mineral bottles. There were 3 customers ahead of me in line! When we finally got to the table and wanted to enjoy the view, we were quickly chased away by a wide-legged security guy. Hip Hop&Rnb Party 🤣 (Saturday at 4 p.m.?)

This is my favorite place. I feel like I'm at the SEA. I relax here again and again after my illness. I always feel deep strength after every visit. I'd love to come back. Recommend this oasis to all my friends.

I was in the restaurant on Fasnacht Sunday, that was the last time. Not even ash cups on the table, and very unclean, then different prices for the same drink. Breakfast was a great restaurant. The operators should better run a kiosk.

Today Lido Beach House was very well attended, beautiful location!! Unfortunately there was only one waitress present in THE fantastic weather. Guests were lining up, I felt sorry for the guy behind the counter! It's a shame there weren't more staff there, it would have certainly increased sales again, hence only two stars!

The best beach house… to enjoy the summer time. (If the weather cooperates...) Fast service and good cuisine. They now also offer vegan burgers, which is simply brilliant.

Service unfriendly, overpriced 4 chicken nuggets for 12 francs with some fries. You get much better service at McDonalds.

Okay...so, two months ago we were here and wrote a warm 2-star review. We have come back a couple times since....and... what a difference! Need ro revisit the review and would give 6 stars if we could! Just grateful that we have such an awesome place at our doorstep! Coolest bar in Lucerne! Specially on a sunny weekend!! Best sweet potato fries. Dont miss it! Burger is nice too, tasty, juicy. Tons of options in the menu. Also like the quinoa salad and the nachos with cheese for a light eating. Thank you Lido Bar ♡♡♡ keep it up! We'll keep coming back!!

It is a place to recommend, the place is beautiful and well-kept, very good options for places to eat, a spectacular children's play park, access to the river.

Nice location, good coffee, it's fun

Great place for a breath of fresh air on the banks of the lake. Magnificent place where the little ones will have fun playing the games, the older ones in the lake. You can play ping-pong and beach volleyball there. There are changing rooms and showers, all in great condition. It could be the continuation of a morning at the transport museum. You can eat there for lunch or just have a coffee. I recommend.

Today we had to endure this noise from the bar in the lido at the camping lido for 12 hours - a real disgrace for guests who want to relax.

The location is very good, but unfortunately the food can't keep up at all. The prices are astronomically high and practically unaffordable for these rather small portions. The cashier charged me and my colleague both for a meal twice. And I don't believe in coincidence, because it should probably be noticeable that you can't charge 17 francs for a hot dog with Rivella. I'm extremely disappointed, sorry.

The restaurant is generally good and you have a very good view of the lake. The food was normal, nothing special. Unfortunately the prices are far too high, so they charge 9 Fr. for a small portion of French fries, which is really too much. Therefore only 2 stars and unfortunately not worth recommending.

Nice beach restaurant. The restaurant is located in the Badi, if you just visit the restaurant you don't have to pay an entrance fee. Nice view of the lake. The food is good and the portions are also a good size. Great to linger or have something to eat. There are enough parking spaces available (charges apply).
